She expanded her portfolio of rides this year and now counts the Whippersnapper among her favorites.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p align="center" style="margin-top:21px"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/sinkerbeam/3715860702/" title="Whippersnapper by sinkerbeam, on Flickr"&gt;&lt;img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3425/3715860702_ae1b1183ca.jpg" width="279" height="418" alt="Whippersnapper" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;Evy also had fun driving everyone around.  She told us that it was her turn to drive since she is always the rider in our car. That's right, she enjoyed it.  She chatted up the front office ladies before making her way back to the room with the purple chair.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/sinkerbeam/3700168304/" title="The Dentist's Office by sinkerbeam, on Flickr"&gt;&lt;img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2487/3700168304_6bb1d3fe71.jpg" width="418" height="279" alt="The Dentist's Office" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Evy hopped right up and had a conversation with the hygienist.  After putting on the special sunglasses, her teeth were counted (20) and cleaned with the tickling toothbrush (using cherry paste).  They sparkled...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/sinkerbeam/3699358789/" title="A Sparkling Smile by sinkerbeam, on Flickr"&gt;&lt;img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2458/3699358789_b756138a40.jpg" width="418" height="279" alt="A Sparkling Smile" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The dentist came in for a final check and he said that everything looked great.  Then Evy was sent on her way with a bag full of goodies which included a little tube of toothpaste, a new toothbrush, four stickers and a parachute toy. The Steelers &lt;a href="http://kidstuff.sinkerbeam.com/2009/02/super-bowl-champions.html"&gt;won the Super Bowl&lt;/a&gt; in February and last night the Penguins won the Stanley Cup!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/sinkerbeam/3623345767/" title="Penguins Celebration by sinkerbeam, on Flickr"&gt;&lt;img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3388/3623345767_29ebcd6c2c.jpg" width="279" height="418" alt="Penguins Celebration" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;Evelyn was their good luck charm, making sure to watch the beginning of each game during their playoff run.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So does this mean that in October the Pirates will win the World Series? It's exactly what you think it is.  We sit on the porch and eat at Evy's picnic table. For the past few weeks Evelyn has enjoyed playing in her sandbox, blowing bubbles and several trips to the playground. It started with a weekend trip to Central Pennsylvania to share some fun with her cousin Donovan (their birthdays are five days apart).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/sinkerbeam/3361417515/" title="Birthday Cupcake by sinkerbeam, on Flickr"&gt;&lt;img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3640/3361417515_4dfed609df.jpg" width="418" height="279" alt="Birthday Cupcake" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Her actual birthday was packed with excitement.  She rode the carousel at the mall, went out to lunch, explored the toy store, and ate dinner at a restaurant where she got three balloons and a special sundae after her meal.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/sinkerbeam/3362238360/" title="Birthday Club by sinkerbeam, on Flickr"&gt;&lt;img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3618/3362238360_4da5e827a8.jpg" width="279" height="418" alt="Birthday Club" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;Tonight finished the third stage of Evy's third birthday celebration. She looked a little like a shortstop, so we got out her hat and glove and did some soft toss in the living room.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/sinkerbeam/3310850400/" title="Ready for Spring Training by sinkerbeam, on Flickr"&gt;&lt;img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3632/3310850400_53d2316a34.jpg" width="279" height="418" alt="Ready for Spring Training" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;It was appropriate, since the Pirates have their first spring training game tomorrow.  Evelyn spent most of the time working on her pitching.  She actually hit the camera with this fastball...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/sinkerbeam/3310022421/" title="The Pitch by sinkerbeam, on Flickr"&gt;&lt;img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3661/3310022421_cb4080d295.jpg" width="279" height="418" alt="The Pitch" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;Strike one.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;She may be ready to be taken out to the ballgame, but we'll have to hold the peanuts and &lt;a href="http://www.crackerjack.com/home.htm"&gt;Cracker Jack&lt;/a&gt;.
