Say Anything have signed a new deal with Civilized Artist Management. This news comes ahead of the band’s new music and touring plans.

In other news, frontman Max Bemis has also relaunched his Song Shop. As such, he will be offering fans personalized songs, one‑on‑one creative experiences, custom video messages, etc.

Bemis commented:

“I’ve been writing tens of thousands (never counted, but ballpark) of songs for people who appreciate my music since 2009. We call it ‘Song Shop.’ We’ve attempted to open more selectively, but when I do start to sing and write them again (at the same time; they’re improvised and recorded all at once), it does a lot for me. It’s a distillation of the connection between a musical artist and the person listening to a song, but removing the middleman — i.e., the literal experiential gap; you’re not just hearing a song that, for example, reminds you of wanting to die or how much you love your girlfriend. You’re hearing the specifics of your own life through my own voice and (hopefully) empathy and seeing how (hopefully) one of your favorite songwriters can actually relate to your experience enough to sing about it.”

Dry Wedding have shared an official video for their new song “Moths.” That track will appear on their new album, “The Back Of Beyond,” which will be available on July 31. Vocalist/guitarist Davey Ferchow commented:

“As we began writing our third album, we wanted to push certain sonic elements further than ever. ‘Moths’ was an exercise in patience and restraint, and it quickly became a band favorite. Our new music video blends raw performance footage with Lynchian visuals to reflect the song’s lyrical themes, the tenebrous parts of ourselves that we hope to conceal and the all-consuming impact of bringing them to light.”

Holding Absence have shared an official video for their new song “Lucid Love.” That track will appear on their new album, “Modern Life Is Lonely,” which will be available on August 28. Vocalist Lucas Woodland commented:

“‘Lucid Love‘ is our most extreme foray into hyperpop yet. We had an absolute blast experimenting with new sonic textures and ideas while working to marry them to the already existing HA sound, and we’re so pleased with the outcome. Lyrically, the song is about a long-distance relationship where the two of you can only meet in your dreams. I really leaned into that imagery, treating the dreamland almost as a portal between you. This song takes a newer, more candid and modern approach to lyrics than I’m used to, while still aiming for something timeless and relatable.”

Metalcore outfit SAME PAINS have dropped their most anticipated single yet with the release of ‘shoulder’, released alongside their latest EP ‘five flowers’ that you can now stream worldwide. A stark contrast to ‘terminal’ and ‘death’s adore’, the first singles from ‘five flowers’, ‘shoulder’ showcases an emotional and melodic side of SAME PAINS that they’ve previously alluded to. 'shoulder’ shows that the collective isn’t afraid to wear their influences on their sleeves, with the panic-chord and feedback-filled verses reminiscent of Norma Jean and Every Time I Die. While the chorus is showing signs of Underoath and even Killswitch Engage.

“With ‘five flowers’ we wanted to show everyone how far we’ve come since ‘closure - an aggregate’” says guitarist Ben Burrows. “Musically you know it’s us, but we’ve learned a lot about ourselves, how we write our music, and shared a lot of harsh life experiences along the way that brought this together”.The release is accompanied by a visually frantic, music video produced by Colin Jeffs at Ten of Swords Media, Ben Burrows explains the concept below:

“We wanted to celebrate the North Queensland alternative scene, we gathered 100 of our close friends and family at a secret location with a days' notice, we flew Colin in, there were people there we’ve known for only a few months and people we’d known since we were children. It was hard work, but the result spoke for itself. This is our proudest achievement to date, and we still can’t believe we pulled it off.”

Brand Of Sacrifice have debuted a couple of new tracks, “Seeing Red” and “This Place Wasn’t Meant For Us.” Frontman Kyle Anderson said the following about those:

“‘Seeing Red‘ and ‘This Place Wasnt Meant For Us‘ mark an incredible moment for us as our first new material since 2023. While these songs push Brand of Sacrifice forward, they also reconnect with elements of our past, drawing nspiration from the atmosphere and emotion of The Interstice and our sophomore release ‘Lifeblood.’ We wanted to strip things back and focus on something more visceral, and honest while capturing a sense of nostalgia without simply repeating ourselves. We’re very proud of these tracks and can’t wait for everyone to experience this next chapter with us.”

Wednesday 13 has shared footage of “Look What The Bats Dragged In” from his set at the 2025 Pol’and’Rock Festival in Czaplinek, Poland. That show will be available as a new live album, titled “Un-Alive From Pol’and’Rock 2025,” on September 25. The frontman said the following:

“Oh my God, look at what the bats dragged in. There’s no better way to start a Wednesday 13 show than with this graveyard banger. The Poison parody title is still admired to this day. ‘Look What The Bats Dragged In’ was the first track from the first Wednesday 13 album, it’s fast, furious, and never fails to get the audience in a frenzy. This track sets the pace for the whole live album.”

Motionless In White have debuted a music video for “R.I.P.” featuring Skylar Grey. The song is included on the group's new album “Decades,” which will be available on July 17. Singer Chris Motionless said the following:

“Skylar’s voice brought it to another level that I never could have achieved on my own. I really love the lyrics for this song. Even though I wrote it through a romantic lens, I love that it can be applied to any moment in your life when you’ve had a falling out with someone you deeply care about, whether that’s a best friend, family member, or romantic partner.

The song really hones in on the deafening silence that follows after you’ve said hurtful things to one another that you wish you could take back. It’s meant to capture the tension that exists in that quiet space of separation. You want to apologize and make things right, but you don’t know how. You want to tell them you love them more than anything and can’t live without them, but there’s a lot of pain on both sides that has to be confronted first. All the while, you’re left with the crippling uncertainty of whether the relationship can ever recover and move forward, or if it’s destined to be laid to rest and gone forever.”

FAILURE / DEFINES” was inspired by experiences that were unfolding in real time while I was writing it. There was a period where it felt like people had already decided who I was and what role I was supposed to play in their story. The song explores what happens when you’re forced to accept that not everyone is interested in actually knowing you or accepting you for all of who you are. At some point, you stop defending yourself and start focusing on what you can control. There’s a certain defiance in that realization. If someone needs you to be the villain in their story, so be it. The song is about finding strength in moving forward anyway.

Musically, the song represents our middle ground, balancing heaviness and vulnerability in a way that feels very natural to us. It leans more heavily into our melodic sensibilities and post-hardcore influences while still maintaining the weight and intensity that define our sound. The song is driven by big melodies, dynamic shifts, and a massive chorus that was designed to hit hard emotionally and sonically. We wanted to capture that feeling of carrying a weight for so long that it eventually stops being heavy and instead becomes something you wear on your sleeve." - Jonathan 

Underoath will be commemorating the 20th anniversary of “Define The Great Line” during a June 20 event at the Rialto Theatre in Tampa, FL. The following was said about that in a press release:

“The event, taking place at Rialto Theatre from 5-10pm, will feature a one-of-a-kind mural installation created by the band, a gallery of merch from the ‘Define The Great Line’ era, and early access to purchase new merchandise including a limited edition t-shirt. Attendees can also enjoy complimentary bourbon cocktails featuring the Underoath Rare Character Bourbon batch, free DGTL-inspired flash tattoos by Seven Reapers Tattoo, and music from Metavari.”

Vocalist Spencer Chamberlain added:

“’Define the Great Line’ was never just an album to me. It was a world I was building in my head through lyrics and sketches long before the songs were finished. I was dealing with a lot and didn’t always know how to put it into words.

This event is really personal for me. ‘Define the Great Line’ has always lived beyond just the music. It started in my lyric book, in sketches and ideas, in lyrics that never had a proper home until now. At the ‘Define the Great Line’ 20th anniversary event, we’ll be displaying a mural based on my hand-drawn art and lyrics, including some lyrics that didn’t make the record.

Getting to take those original drawings and lyrics and turn them into a massive, one-of-a-kind, 30-foot mural with the band and Greater Public Studio has been surreal. This mural is the first time all of that has come together in a physical way. Every part of it is pulled from those original ideas and drawings and brought to life with the band and Greater Public Studio as a true one-of-one piece of art.

It feels like bringing that era to life in a way we’ve never done before. It’s a really meaningful way to celebrate the record, and we’ve got some rare merch featuring the artwork that makes the whole experience even more special. It’s going to be a special moment for anyone who connects with that record the way we do.”

What Lies Below have released a new song titled “Monolith.” That track will appear on their new album “I Let It Consume Me,” which will be available on July 10. Vocalist Andrew Watson commented:

“‘Monolith’ is the second song in the overall story of I Let it Consume Me. This song uncovers personal grief and the ‘person’ finding themselves in front of their own darkness. “”Everything Is Fine’ is one of those songs that took a while to get right. It went through multiple different versions before we landed on this one, and it ended up being one of my favorite choruses on the record. It’s a song about anxiety, and I think fans of the earlier Movements subject matter will really enjoy this one.”

Allegaeon have shared an official video for their song “Dark Matter Dynamics.” That track features Adrian Bellue and it appears on the group's latest album “The Ossuary Lens.” Guitarist Greg Burgess said the following:

“‘Dark Matter Dynamics’ is a very special song for me. Having the opportunity to explore my love for steel string acoustic music, and bringing it into the fold with Allegaeon, will forever be a source of pride. Not only that but exploring this marriage of two styles with an acoustic heavy weight Adrian Bellue was equally special.”

Vocalist Ezra Haynes added:

“‘Dark Matter Dynamics’ is here and I am pumped! Over recent years, we’ve grown close with our good buddy, Adrian Bellue, and I’m thankful Greg introduced us! Hatebreed have just inked a new deal with BLKIIBLK. The label will handle the release of the group's upcoming album.

Vocalist Jamey Jasta said the following:
