Show your creative side with a cute game that you can easily build and decorate. Take a large piece of thin plywood and cut a big round hole in the hole in the centre. Be sure to put supports on the back so the plywood can stand on it’s own. Paint the board in primary colors of red, blue and yellow. Have dad, big brother or big sister on the water balloon filling station. The kids will have a blast throwing balloons in an attempt to get them through the hole. A hula hoop is an option too, if you want to have two areas for balloon throwing. Chances are, though that the balloons will be thrown all over the yard and at everything and everyone by games end!

Order the game, “Give Chase His Badge,” another opportunity for fun and giggles. Blindfold each child and watch the zany places that the partygoers put the badges. Pups to the rescue!

PAW Patrol Party Game

Another fun activity to try is finding all of the pups rescue vehicles and matching them with each PAW Patrol member. Print out pictures of each vehicle and tape them in places around the backyard. Put Skye’s helicopter up in a tree for example. Hide Rubble’s construction vehicle over in the sandbox. Print out pictures of Zuma, Rocky and the rest of the gang, placing them on the table and the kids can match the vehicle to the pup as they find it.

No Pup Is Too Small

After all of the fun, no pup will be too small to find their way to the party food table. What fun! The table looks just like an adventure. Cover the table with a PAW Patrol plastic cover. Since we are at Adventure Bay, you can put a pile of large rocks in each corner of the table to hold the cover in place.

What else to bring and remember? Sunglasses, a hat, flip flops to protect against hot sand and rocks, sand toys and plenty of blankets and towels round out the packing list. Give the family safety instructions as soon as you hit the beach. Point out landmarks near to where you are located on the beach. Remind them that the lifeguard is there to help them, and that they can go to the lifeguard if they lose their bearings. Important! Older children can walk down the beach a little to look for sand creatures, but no going in the water unless you are supervising!

Try going to the beach early for a prime spot. Bring a large umbrella or sun canopy as the sun will be super hot in the afternoon. Perhaps, because you went to the beach in the morning, the gang will be more than happy to head home after lunch because they have had such a good time already. Maybe the yummy lunch you prepare and all of the activity and excitement enjoyed forenoon will leave the kids ready to go home for an afternoon nap!

What is for lunch? Bring foldaway chairs for all. They are lightweight and compact so the children can carry their own to the prime beach spot you have chosen. A cooler, full of frozen water bottles which will melt surprisingly fast at the beach, apples, cheese sticks, mini yogurts and veggies wrapped in whole wheat pita supplies a perfect beach picnic. Be sure to bring wipes and antibacterial gel for washing up beforehand.

As you pack up, put wet clothes and towels in one backpack. If you happen to have any dry items, put them in another. Head for home after an amazing day!

Speaking of buying and spending, give each child a budget and keep track of what they spend. They will spend more wisely if they know the money they are spending is their own!

Visit Disney Relations when you arrive and get a button pin if it is your child’s first visit to the parks, or if it is their birthday. Park staff will watch for these buttons and give your young ones a happy birthday hello!

Some families choose to spend the morning at Disney and then go home to the accommodations for a swim and a nap, returning to the parks for the evening festivities. Enjoy every minute of this fabulous adventure!

Get with the theme right from the start with super cool Star Wars invitations. Send out the notifications from the Jedi council in plenty of time in order to know how many to expect for Jedi training!

As the party goers arrive, have Star Wars theme music playing to welcome them. Hand out Jedi training outfits, which can be easily made with brown fabric. Cut a slit for the head and tie a piece of white yarn around the waist of each child and they are geared up for a fabulous time.

Set up a course to test the supreme skill of the fighters by having them crawl under several chairs, jump through hanging Hula Hoops and navigate around tires, all while pushing or carrying a large ball!

Set up a space station photo booth in the outer area of the galaxy. Let the kids pose with a Star wars character. Purchase or make a life size Stormtrooper or Darth Vader figure. Be sure to provide   masks, Princess Leia hair buns and a light saber! Print out a great photo to include in the loot bag of each attendee.

Now is the time to surprise the kids with their very own light saber to take home after the party. Safe and fun light sabers can be made out of pool noodles, black electrical tape and a bit of duct tape. Use your imagination and see what you come up with or look online for ideas. The warriors can have marvelous fun hitting a balloon back and forth. Don’t let it touch the ground!
