Only add 20-30 people / day until you have at aleast 50 tweets, otherwise, Twitter
will think you are being a spammer

In otherwords, The more you give, the more likely they will give back to you.
At most times, in the form of a sale.

10% of your tweets, you can ask for something directly. Promote a product or
service you recommend.

Try to have some tweets not contain a link. This makes it less spammy in twitters eyes.

- simple thought in your head

Remove people that you are following, but aren’t following you back when the following
number is 10% more than your followers. This is especially true when your followers is
under 2000

How To Add An Optin Box on your Facebook Wall

If you are using Facebook to network with other marketers, and you offer an incentive for people to give you their email address, like a free training, then you will want to add an opt in box to your Facebook profile page.

The benefit of having an opt in box on your profile page, it’s non-invasive way to capture email addresses of your Facebook visitors. If your visitor likes what you have to offer, then they will opt into your list.

Oh and since you are on Facebook…why don’t you add me as a friend.

Here’s a video showing exactly, step by step, how to add an optin box to your Facebook profile.

Steps

Logon to Facebook
On Home Page Click on Applications
Search bar type in ‘html profile box’
Enter in your html code from your autoresponder
Click update HTML Profile Box Button
Click back to profile link
Click on boxes tab
You will see your HTML profile box
Click on the Pen and select, move to wall tab

OK, now that we have our opt in box in place, you will want to think of a compelling offer, so people will want to opt in. So, to do this, you will need to add text, so you don’t just have a box, unless that is what you want. You can just add your text above the HTML code. But if you don’t how that works, you can add the following html code to your text:

For example – you can use this code as an example:

PUT YOUR TEXT HERE

It is simple…if you want larger text, replace the number 2 with a higher number. If you want a different color, just replace the word red with a different color.

YOU ARE ALL DONE!

Homework Assignment:

Add 20 – 25 friends per day – remember to include a welcome message

Create a group – Be creative – add your friends to the group

Spend a couple minutes on the news feed and just comment

Add all of your friends and group members to webinars and other events that may be of value!

1. Go to http://www.twitter.com to create an account if you haven’t already done so. Be creative with your bio and make sure to include your website link. (A blog link is preferred).

2. Set up a professional Twitter background with free tools like http://www.twitbacks.com or http://www.mytweetspace.com.

3. Go to SocialOomph

To set up a free account with this awesome Twitter tool. This will allow you to send automated welcome messages to newfollowers and create settings that will automatically follow those who follow you or ‘unfollow’ those who do not follow you.

4. Go to Tweetadder to purchase the Tweet Adder for $55. You can download for free to try it out.

Another tool is called Livelybrowser.

Livelybrowser not only has a Twitter friend adder, but it also has a Facebook Friend adder. Both of these are $50.

These tools are optional, but highly recommended. You can automatically add Twitter friends with these simple and easy tools. If you’re on a budget, just add friends manually by finding others in your same niche.

9. It’s not enough to just add new friends, you must actually INTERACT with them. Use

MLM Leaders: 6 Things That Have Allowed Them To Be Successful

When you go out online and search for ways to make money, there are so many people that share their negative thoughts about the mlm industry. They simply state that it is a waste of time and money. What some people fail to do is think for themselves and decide for themselves what is a myth and what is not instead of listening to others.

The funny thing is, you can make money online. You can make a lot of money. So, what is the difference between those that make money and those that lose money?

I will share with you the 6 things mlm leaders have:

1. Why

I know this is so cliché and we have heard it a million times, but WHY are you involved in MLM? You really have to know this and wrap your arms around this. Write it down near your computer, so you can see it everyday. Never forget your WHY.

2. Belief

Guess what? Having an online business takes, plain, hard, work! People believe that they can just join a business and the business will simply take off and they will earn a paycheck just by enrolling. Sorry, not true. This is hard work and you will probably fail! You must believe in yourself and that you can get past the times that you fail. When you fail, you will get depressed and get discouraged. You must have the belief that you can and will do this no matter what it takes.

3. A product they believe in

If you are marketing a product and hate it, how can you possible try to market it with any enthusiasm? I am sure you can get away with it, but when you believe in a product so much, it will show in your marketing. Whether you are creating a video or an article, it shows.

4. Failure

Sorry folks, but you will most likely start off failing in this business. Many people fail for months, some for years. There is no fast track to success. It will help your learning curve if you seek out mentors that are already successful. You want to find mentors to show you the correct way the first time so you don’t have to spend years of wasted time and money. Ask anyone that has made money online – they all have had mentors. Don’t think of failing as a bad thing. When you fail, you learn. Learning is powerful!

5. Training and Education

When you get a new job, doesn’t someone have to show you what to do? Not many people can walk into a job and know exactly what to do right off the bat. People are bold and want to make money fast so they start marketing right away. Most of the time it is the wrong and ineffective way. This will leave people very discouraged and if they don’t have a big why, they will quit and complain that you can’t make money in mlm.

People often ignore this step, mostly because many mlm companies simple don’t have internet marketing training in their corporate office. Some people realize this is seek out information only to get bits and pieces. People need one place to go to learn training for mlm leaders.

6. Funded Proposals

This concept is ignored by so many. Most people join mlm companies to make additional income. Many barely have enough money to start the business let alone maintain the business. MLM Leaders use this concept. In short, it is a way of generating an income while generating leads and building their business. This money is to help pay for the company autoship and other business expenses. You pretty much are getting paid to generate leads! Pretty Cool!

First, I will explain why building “you” is so important. If you are in a company and you advertise your company website, what makes you stand out from everyone else doing the same thing? Why would someone want to join you over someone else? When we join opportunities, don’t we want to ensure that we are connected with successful people in the company? Afterall, if they are successful, then they will help us succeed, right?

Building yourself will help you stand out from the crowd and the impression would be that you are a leader, even if you haven’t made a dime yet. This is actually really easy to do if you have the right mlm products to help you do this. This is what defines attraction marketing. When you educate yourself on this subject, you will dominate the network marketing industry.

The more value you hold, the more money you will have earn from network marketing. The more value you share with others, the more people you will sponsor. This is the easiest way to sponsor people because people already know you and are attracted to you, so they simply just reach out to you to join your business. Then, you simply have to direct these people to the same mlm products that you have used and they will duplicate your success, providing they work, of course.

Another reason that you want to build yourself is; what if the company you are involved with closes its doors? You would lose everything, your residual income and your contacts. This actually happened to me. I lost not only my income, but over 700 names and emails of contacts (the company housed this information). After this, I knew that I needed to do things differently, so that if a future company that I was involved in shut down, I wouldn’t sweat it, since I was already valuable in the marketplace, it would be easy to build another downline, just in a different company. The system will come with autoresponders that your leads will receive over a period of time. The writing of these alone is worth over $1000. These emails are written in such a way to help you make money for your business via affiliate commissions.

The system will have a way to automate affiliate sales for you! You will sign up for affiliate products for free and if your leads buys one of these products, then you will receive the commission, all on autopilot.

Most important, the system must have training. It must explain how to use the system itself and utilize it to its fullest. It must not only teach you how to use the system, but it should provide training on building your mlm business on autopilot by teaching internet marketing. Afterall, what good is having the system, if you don’t know how to market it?

The system should brand you as the leader and not someone else. That is the whole concept around attraction marketing. I have been on Facebook for awhile now and have met so many awesome people that are network marketers. It is amazing how much you can learn from others! Facebook is turning into a great way to generate leads in assist in the network marketing recruiting process. A lot of people use facebook the worng way and are actually started to get people very annoyed.

When started out on Facebook, you typically don’t have many friends, so we need to find some. To start, you will want to join a couple groups that have something to do with network marketing. When you join these groups, not only will you find people to be your friend, but people will also find you and ask to be your friend.

Now, there is a right way of asking for friendship and a wrong way. The right way is no add a personal message to your new friend. Saying something like. Hey Bob, I saw you in the MLM group and thought we could connect on Facebook. Looking forward to getting to know you better! Have a great day. The wrong way would be to just send the friend request, with no message. This is almost like spamming. You want to connect with people and get to know them and have them get to know you and trust you. Remember, trust will bring in sales!

The absolute worst you could do is send a personal message (while requesting friendship) asking people to join your business and telling people how great your business is. If someone did that to me, I would accept their friendship. My goal would then be to help educate them on marketing etiquette, but I would not even think of joining their business or even looking at the person’s profile. That is almost like calling a purchased lead and asking right away to join your business without getting to know them first. It just doesn’t work!

So, now that we have friends on Facebook, we want to interact with them. On the home page we see people comments and we just want to start interacting with them. Make comments when needed. “Like” something. I know that when someone comments or likes what I have to say, I usually look at their profile. When people like your comments and they are not friends with you, they are more likely to ask you to be their friend.

The whole point of facebook is to add value, educate, and build a reputation of trust and helpfulness if you give the opposite, people will ignore you and certainly not buy anything that you have to offer. If someone were really interested in succeeding in MLM, whom would they choose as a mentor, one that is helpful, educates, and entertains, or one that just is out their selling their business opp? The more you give out to the community, the more you will get back. People will just be attracted to you and not run away, like calling a cold lead.

Building Your Network Marketing Business By Socializing

If you have been in network marketing and on the internet, I am sure you have heard the words social media, the new way building your network marketing business. So, what in the world is social media and how does it help us ?

First, let’s take the word, social. What does this word mean: to interact with others and to share and exchange ideas with others. There are so many social media sites: Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, You Tube, Digg, and so many more. So, the concept of this is simple. Research these sites and find your favorites. Create an account with 2 or 3 sites and find people that have a similar interest as you and you ask them to be your friend. Facebook and Twitter are probably ones that you must join. If you are interested in creating videos, then You Tube is a must! Please keep in mind that joining these sites are 100% free!.

You want to brand yourself as a leader. Any tip of information you learn that you feel would be helpful to the community, share, and people will start viewing you as a leader. When you do this, people will view your profile, they start learning about the real you. People will learn that they have more in common with you, then just network marketing. When people get to know you, it builds trust. If it were me, I would rather do business with someone I trust and know a little bit about than someone that I don’t know anything about.

People like to talk and pass along information. If I ate at a really good restaurant, I would tell my friends. The same rule applies here. If I create some information that people like and enjoy, they will tell their friends, this gets your name out into the community and your reputation builds in a positive light.

You want to promote YOURSELF, not your biz opp! The worst thing you could do is come off like a salesperson, pushing your product or opportunity. No one likes to be sold. This is such a big turn off and people will just flat out ignore you and what you have to say. This is just like calling a cold lead and asking them to join your business without even getting to know them first.

The key is for people to view your profile, from here they not only get to know you better. If they start liking and trusting you, curiosity will build and they will be wondering what that URL link on your profile is all about and they will be more apt to click on the website. This is where you start generating leads for your business for free and this is much more fun than cold calling. As a bonus, you may even meet your new best friend.

Building your network marketing business using social media marketing can be very profitable, but unfortunately, people use social media the wrong way, which only makes people run away.
