Amazon Prime Video is completely integrated on Xfinity on Demand making finding something entertaining to watch that much easier. I also love that Xfinity has Common Sense Media rating and reviews built in. This is such a bonus for parents.

What is Prime Video?

If you aren’t a member of Amazon Prime or a new member, Prime Video is Amazon’s streaming video subscription service. It is included in an Amazon Prime yearly membership. Members can watch thousands of popular movies and TV shows, easily rent or buy movies and TV shows, and even add individual video channel like STARZ and Showtime. In addition to accessing through the Xfinity X1 platform, Prime Video can be watched on devices through an app.

Prime Video is the cherry on top of a load of other benefits including unlimited free shipping options, more than 2 million songs and thousands of playlists and stations through Prime Music (another favorite service of mine), photo storage with Prime Photos, unlimited reading through Prime Reading, and free games and loot on Twitch Prime.

xFi Wifi/Internet Network Home Management

Amazon Prime Video isn’t the only great thing happening with your Xfinity products. Did you know that the management of your wifi and internet network was as easy as installing an app? xFi is an easy to use app that provides a simple digital dashboard that lets you know what devices are currently using your wifi network at home. You can use it to troubleshoot any issues you might have, and then there’s the best part (PARENTS THIS IS FOR YOU). You can pause your wifi connections with a few taps by device, by user, or all together.
