Changes to the News System

We've switched the backend of the news system and consequently anyone who is receiving the news feed via RSS may have to update the URL in their feed reader. The feed can now be found at https://billing.game.kingj.net/announcementsrss.php

If you use Google Reader, you may get a batch of old articles in your reader. This is normal, just hit "Mark all as read".

We've just launched our new server in Roubaix, France! Game servers are available now and voice servers will be available in a few days time once TeamSpeak fixes a bug. If you're an existing customer and want to switch your server location, just open a support ticket on the Game Control Panel.

Public Left 4 Dead Servers Now Running HLStatsX

We've added HLStatsX to our public Left 4 Dead servers, our Team Fortress 2 server was already running it. All kills, deaths and such are now logged! You can view the stats at http://hlx.game.kingj.net .

If you want to join our Left 4 Dead servers, you can either use the IP on the public servers page, or you can join our steam group and then join from the Left 4 Dead main menu. Happy zombie killing!

One Year On

We've just passed one year in operation, and wow what a year!

We've gone from having a small server intended just for a few games, to multiple powerful servers with an advanced control panel and many game options.

The first year hasn't been easy, we've learned a lot about the game server world and we're better off for it. At no point have our services been as stable, reliable or performing as they are now!

We hope you've had a good year with us, and hope that you stay with us into the future! Happy 1st Birthday from us :)

UK Server

We have started offering UK servers again. We colocated a server in Maidenhead, UK a few weeks ago and have been performing extensive testing to ensure that it is stable and ready for games.

You can now select to have your server hosted in the UK when ordering your server, simply select "Maidenhead, United Kingdom" as the datacentre.

The UK Server still has the same great features as our NL server, including instant setup as standard.

If any existing customers would like to move to the UK server from the NL server, please submit a support ticket. We would like to thank those customers who assisted us with the testing procedure.

Left 4 Dead Servers

Valve's Left 4 Dead, a 4 player zombie co-op server, now has a demo available for all users that have pre-ordered. We are testing the dedicated server and are happy to report we will be able to offer 4 player Left 4 Dead servers for £6.00 each (that's £6.00 total for a 4 player coop server). So, if you want a lag free zombie frag fest, you know where to come!

We will be allowing orders once valve release the full files, rather than just a demo unless we get any special requests for a dedicated.

New Control Panel

Today, we have launched our new Control Panel and Billing System. With this, we are introduce several new feature, such as sub users and server reinstalls, but more importantly, we can now offer instant setup on all of our servers. As soon as you place and order and the payment clears, our new system will start the setup of your server and will notify you as soon as it's complete. This allows you to start playing as soon as possible.

No prices have been raised, and stay tuned for more feature with regards to the control panel making managing your server much easier!
