i've been feeling super inspired by all of these sunny days and i think it's coming out in my clothing choices and i've been drawing again! yay! i sometimes get into weird funks where i stare at my paint set and easel from across the room and want to paint something so badly but just feel frozen. it's a weird feeling....i'd imagine it would be something equivalent to writers block, but it's gone for now!

i rode my bike over to williamsburg the other day popped into catbird amongst other stores and i picked up these delicate little wisps of beauty, some delicious vanilla for the fellas as i like to say perfume and a beautiful citrine stone that i have been meditating with every night from the little store across the street. i've basically been wearing my memory and threadbares everyday since i got them and i have to say for such delicate little bands they are super tough. my vanilla perfume has been getting mixed with patchouli and lavender, i'm taking it back to 6th grade circa 1996 and i am perfecting my hippie love potion dreams. everything is coming up magical this spring and i want to role with this sweetness for as long as i can.

Redken Extreme Anti Snap

Ok, so I think you all know that it pains me enormously to say a product that isn't totally natural works wonders, but here it goes. Redken you truly brought something my hair was clearly lacking back into the game! Baw chicka bawawa. I put two pumps in clean damp hair, pulled the wide tooth comb through my seemingly already stronger locks and let it air dry. It looked great! Strong, shiny and the weird puffy frizz on my ends were totally smooth. Gasp!!! After last summers bleach capades I have learned a valuable lesson. Leave the bleach alone and if you get cray on your strands you can always save them from extinction with a few pumps of this stuff.

Redken my biggest qualm with you is I am pretty sure you test on animals which I am strongly urging you to stop! I love little mice, rats, stray dogs and cats and it makes me really sad to think my hair is lookin fine while little baby animals have the stuff jammed in their innocent little eyes. Please stop and I will promote the shit out of your products. Till then, I shall say great product , but not such ethical treatment of critters.

It's exclusively sold at Sephora which you can pretty much find on any corner in NYC or online, packed with natural anti aging ingredients such as resveratrol (yup, your lips can get their buzz on while you look fabulous) and it comes in a plethora of colors, literally perfect for any skin tone. I have been dabbing it on my lips, smudging it with my finger and topping it with my Tangerine medicated Eos. It's pretty much become my go to everyday and perfect for day or night.

BB Cream Dream.

I am an incredibly enthusiastic skin care researcher. I have tried just about every cream in every store and have tried a bunch of bb creams. The one that wins the award for best BB Cream goes toooooo Origins!!! Its packed with White Tea which soothes and calms your skin in addition to evening out the skin tone. It goes on evenly and keeps me protected all day. I haven't had a break out either which I have found common with other BB's. Highly recommended, excellent product, totally natural and not tested on our furry friends! Go get it ;)

I did a little pamperin on my day off today and I am feeling pretty pretty pretty snazzy. My hair mask is a combo of 1 table spoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 whole avocado. Mix it all together, evenly cover your hair, wait 20-60 minutes, shampoo and condition follow with and ice rinse. My face mask is Eclos Clay mask.

I was lucky enough to go to Beacon NY and do the Hair & Make Up for EM Reservoirs lookbook shoot . Here are some of the photos from that day and from the opening of her flawless Boutique Reservoir and Wood. She really is a designer I love, love collabing with and her classic, dreamy, beautiful silhouettes...ahhhhhh sigh so perfect! Plus, she always adds just a touch of magic to each piece. soooo, maybe you guys know maybe ya don't but i'm gonna grow my hairs long. so in my quick hair growth quest i have purchased some new hair vitamins and shampoo. cause ya know, i don't have nearly as many shampoos as i need. ha. i got this newest one from ricky's and i have to say i quite like it. it is pepperminty so its nice to wake up to in the morning and it made my hair dry really nicely on its own. not sure how it will speed up my hair growth though. i think its just to prevent breakage thus increasing the overall keepable length. oh! the hair vitamins i'm taking ate vitamin c, b complex, msm and biotin. quite the cocktail ey?
