Myvi tries to be a magazine!

Hi!! Thank you everybuddy for visiting us! Mummy says so sorry we have been a bit busy again in the last few days, so Myvi still does not have her own little icons. So I would like to blog on her behalf.

Myvi is a playful little girl and she sometimes gets into tight situations... Here are some photos of her pretending to be a magazine!

She has beautiful large puss-in-boots eyes that we all love very much!!!

Mummy says we are moving house this week because we had to quickly find a new house, due to an electrical fault in our current place. They are a little bit worried about our safety and the practicality of living in a house that shorts out the circuit every few minutes. It's going to be a nice new place, but firstly Mummy will have to be very busy again! We will make sure we visit you all when we are settled...

Time to meet our Miracle Myvi

Hi! It's me, Keiko. Since I am the Lead Blogger here at KQ, I would like to introduce the newest members of our group.

I think you might be wondering who those tiny little furballs were in the all-8 picture I showed you a few days ago.

So today, I will introduce you to the small tabby: Myvi Mami, our new official KQ girl!
These are some of the photos from her first day she came to live with us last year, pictured here with my proud Mummy.

This is her story... you'll see why we call her our 'miracle' girl! (Some of you may already know this story from my Facebook...)

On the fateful day of the 18th of September, Mummy had a concert in a town 1 hour away from home.

This is what Mummy wrote in her diary...

After the long day performing in Seremban, we wanted to go to our favourite Japanese restaurant for dinner. When we got there, the restaurant was closed....

So we decided to go elsewhere. When we started driving, we could hear a loud meowing coming from inside our car! So we stopped in the carpark, jacked up the car, had a look underneath, opened the bonnet, still couldn't see...

Until we saw a tiny little kitten, wedged behind a part inside the engine! She was screaming. She looks exactly like Ryker.

So I fished her out, and we tried to find her mummy cat for about 30 mins. The cleaner who worked in the carpark said that no cats lived there, and he certainly hadn't seen this little one before. All I could see was that she needed our help. We needed to do something. So, after talking to Olivia (from Pet Epicure) about what to do, we brought her home. She is really very tiny. Thankfully, she ate normally and she is so low-maintenance.

We call her Myvi, after the car she was found in.

In the picture, she is about 8-10 weeks old. So today, she is ... 5 months old!
She is the best little sister anycat could hope for, the sweetest little girl.

Now I have to teach her how to blog! She also loves to play the piano, but I'll tell you about that another time.

Schurdo's Yummy Faces

Hi! It's Schurdo here. I'm the Guest Cat staying with the KQ until my real Daddy and Mummy can take me to snowy Norway. For that, I had to wait a long time before I could take the necessary blood tests to go over! My not-real-Mummy-of-KQ says that the doctors who we went to were useless and probably got my tests wrong ~~because I failed~~. Because her kitty friends told her that we have to be careful in Malaysia with overpriced incompetent doctors! It's very bad. But I keep my paw-fingers crossed that if I need to go to another doctor, they will not stuff it up.

Anyway, I've had a great time waiting for my big move with these fun kitties at KQ. I thought that I was a human until I came to live with KQ and they said that I am a cat! I really like to eat AvoFarm wet food and my not-real-Mummy has a lot of them! *mainly for the kittens*

But my not-real-Mummy can't resist my handsome face and lets me lick the spoon after she's fed the kittens!

I'm usually very polite, too. I just get this little treat and my special 'dessert' at the end of the day, because that was my routine with my real Mummy and Daddy. I hope I can still remember their faces when they come to get me.

Anyway, it was nice to post here again, I hope I get to do it again!

Happy New Year! I just wanted to let you know that we are still here. Mummy has a new year's resolution to start up our blog again... I know she said that last year as well, but she is looking after herself more now and she has decided to cut back on her work to concentrate on things she loves!

So anyway... Cat Daddy bought a new computer and then Mummy saw that the previous resolution of our bloggie was completely bad... then she got discouraged... so she just left it in the too-hard basket for a long time. We told her it's ok, because she's not a computer professional person. And we told her she is the only one with thumbs out of all of us so she's going to have to do the blogging for us. We changed the design to a simpler one today, and hopefully she'll make us a header again soon.

So there are eight of us now.... Including Schurdo, who is still staying with us on the way to Norway, and a new miracle kitten Myvi, and then Mummy brought 2 foster kittens!

Hi!!! Yesterday we hinted about our big news, and I'm so excited to introduce you to our foster brother!

Meet Schurdo!

This picture was taken when Mummy was cat-sitting for her friend Yuko. He's so handsome!

Schurdo's Mummy and Daddy are moving to Norway and he has come to stay with us until he can pass all his tests and go over!

Please tell Ryker to behave. He's growling and hissing and raising up his hackles, and generally carrying on like a drama king. He's not being very nice to Schurdo.

Mummy and Daddy have praised the rest of us, Keiko, Pricilla and me for welcoming Schurdo so fast! As soon as he came in in his PTU, we knew what was going on. We never hissed or growled or anything!

Light is good for a true fluffy lady

Hi! It's Pricilla! Mummy always has a hard time trying to photograph me because I blend in so well to my furniture. But today, I was hanging out downstairs and the light was GOOD!

We don't like it when Mummy goes away

Hai! It's me, Ryker Ryuichi! Nobody ever told me what the big bag with all Mummy's clothes were before, but now I know!

Mummy puts all her things inside there and she doesn't come home for many days!

I missed her so much!

When she came home, she became very sick. My furblings told me she is not so strong. So we have to snuggle with her and help her by giving her our energy!

So I went and snuggled as much as I could. purrrr Mummy is now well enough to get out of bed and eat!

Kenji's 5th Gotcha Birthday!

It's my Gotcha Birthday! I'm FIVE today! I'm so happy that I've already received so many messages! Thank you very much! I told Mummy to please hurry up and post my birthday post!

It's two years since I came to live with my Mummy and Daddy, and Keiko. Then we welcomed Pricilla, Yuji, then Yuji became an Angel, and then Ryker Ryuichi came.

It's been such a busy year for us.

So today, I have some verry special pictures I would like to share!

First of all, Sammy, Andy and Shelly sent me a Gotcha Day Card!

Mancat Monday: Springy Mouse!

Hi every kitty!! Please prepare yourself for some ferocious mancat action!

You may know that Mummy loves to buy lots of kitty toys. And then Cat Daddy puts them away to clear some space cos they are taking over! mawhawhaw!

Anyway, the other day, Mummy found the springy mouse toy and decided to put it out for me!

And here's an update on Pricilla!

Today, I'm just resting on the comfy bed and I just wanted to tell you I'm doing better. I can't wait until the cone can come off, and the bandage on my leg! But Mummy gives me extra treats and quiet time alone in the bedroom. She's trying to lessen the stress on me! She's also diligently applying 2 different kinds of eye drops 3 times a day. I'm glad she's taking care of me!

We are happy that both Mummy and Cat Daddy have a day off tomorrow!

Pricilla is home and resting!

Hi!! I'm happy to tell you that Pricilla is home and she is in high spirits!

Yesterday, she went to the Animal Medical Centre after being referred there by the vet because of an outbreak of cysts resulting from herpes virus in her eye. It looked red and very bad!

When Mummy was informed that Pricilla would be sedated to have a minor operation to remove the cysts, she asked to have a non-healing ulcer on her leg seen to, as well. These bad bits have been sent to pathology for testing.

Pricilla received a blood test and chest x-ray to check that she would be strong enough to go through sedation, and hooray! She got good results on those tests. The surgery went well, and Mummy and Daddy went to pick her up this afternoon!

Pricilla is very hungry and she can rest well on the comfy bed. She was going to stay in the downstairs bedroom to be away from other kitties but she insisted that she would like to come out. Now she's roaming the house!

Dreaming of a garden… and purring for Pricilla

Mummy loves to plant vegies and flowers on our blacony. And every time she steps out to water her plants, I love to dash outside! But she says "No No No!" because she's worried that I'll jump off. Like I almost did, from a different spot on our apartment floor.

Anyway, I just thought… if I sit close enough to the window… I can just pretend that I'm sitting in the 'garden' and plus I'm sitting on my favourite Ikea cushion, which I can't take outside anyway.

Mummy ordered 1000 cat grass seeds on eBay! Daddy says when we have a carpet of kitty grass, we can frolick on it and eat as much as we want!

Today I'm thinking about my sister Pricilla cos her vet thinks she has an outbreak of feline herpes and she has these cysts in her eye. It's really bad! So they want to do some tests before they can sedate her (because she's 13… Mummy's very worried) and then if they can put her under, they will operate. Mummy took her in this morning and Pricilla is staying there getting her tests done.

Hi!! It's me, Kenji! I've been asking Ryu-kun all week if I can blog. Cos he just loves it so much, and plus Mummy takes so many pictures of him just because he's the new one!! bleh!

I only just got bits and bobs for my post today. Scandal!

Mummy says my paws look like a back-scratcher you can buy in Japan. Those back-scratchers are shaped like a little hand! Mummy loves my paw-massage when I walk all over her back when she's sleeping. She says I have just the right pressure for a relaxing massage!

Are you listening? I'm talking to you, Mummy.

Keiko and I are kind of friends now. She still pawslaps me sometimes. But we've been together for almost 2 years!

This is my new sleepy spot. I found a beach towel on the floor and it's very thick and comfy!

Wordy Wednesday: Catch 22 situation

This morning, I found a cool item on the back of the couch!

A piece of music from Cat Daddy's work! After I made it comfortable by opening it up, pawing on it and softening it, I lay down.

The Catch 22 is that KQ kitties get sprayed water when we do naughty things like this.

But this time, Cat Daddy cannot spray me because his music will get wet!

So I continued to lay on the music… purrrrr

Cat Daddy's Video Debut: Ryker's trackball

I'm the baby of the family so everyone loves taking pictures and videos of me!

Cat Daddy filmed me playing with the "trackball - scratch board - spring ball" thingy.

Mummy said my furblings don't really play much with all the toys she bought so she's glad that the toys are getting good use out of them, THANKS TO ME!

Yes! The "Ryu" in my name is the Dragon! Isn't it a cool name?

Anyway, I spent the whole day relaxing and cleaning myself.

The back of the couch is usually Keiko's territory, but she can share.
