Update:
12/07/15

Since posterous went out of service long ago, will have to look for the image elsewhere and see if it can represent the same idea, for now this is a holder image.

End Update

It seems long ago since I posted the last photo of a workspace, using the Otterbox Case for the Original Galaxy Tab, and taking an image of it with another phone at the time I believe it was the SGH-U360 which was then transferred via Bluetooth. It ended up coming out a good shot, surprisingly so considering the type of camera that phone has available on it. Nonetheless that image was presented so that others could see a workspace can be very minimal while what you see now still follows that theme but includes a laptop connected via vga cable to an old 17 Inch CRT which serves as a secondary monitor.
The second image is the upgrade from the original Galaxy Tab 7 Inch - Sprint p100 to the new and upgraded wifi only GT-P3113 running Ice Cream Sandwich which enables me to do more with what I have long needed to do with a system that is capable of multitasking with an intuitive interface making it very straightforward.
There is still time to setup an ideal workspace and I am getting there just a matter of getting the right equipment and making sure there is Feng Shui or something like that. What are your thoughts?

Life without art would be sad and frightening, it would mean the end of humanity as a whole as art is an expression of each of us. There would be no expression to lift our spirit. Inspiration would die like the rest of all these powerful emotions that give birth to creativity. Art smoothes the pain and takes you places you don’t even dream of. I need art to escape the dark difficulties of everyday life. Either the sound of an instrument, the beauty of a canvas, the delicate move of a ballerina or the beauty of a three-dimensional sculpture, art is essential to my life. The plan is to incentivize the current spectrum squatters with a share of the revenue gained from auctioning off the spectrum -- mostly for mobile broadband use -- which only seems fair, and for now it seems those auctions will be voluntary. But that's just the tip of the iceberg: the plan also includes a $5 billion investment in constructing 4G networks in rural areas (with a goal to reach at least 98 percent of Americans with the service), a $3 billion fund for 4G R&D to help the rollout, and $10.7 billion for a wireless public safety network. The beauty of this plan is that all these proposed costs are offset by the spectrum auction, which is estimated to raise $27.8 billion, of which $9.6 billion will be dedicated to deficit reduction. Oh, and the best news? The government has already found 115MHz worth of Federal spectrum that it can free up by using its other spectrum more efficiently, and has another 95MHz worth in its sights. Hit up the source link to see President Obama's speech on the subject, which has just begun, or check it out embedded after the break.

via EnGadget c/o Chris Fisher

Yet another case study in how things have become more mobile, and if this bill goes through, true information will be more available wherever you are, ambitious to shoot for 98% but certainly possible. As so many today have really become more and more mobile as phones have become less expensive with more functions then a typical pc had in the 80s and early 90s. Devices that by themselves may as well be something as simple as pocket pcs. The abilty to access the internet and it's associated information no matter where you may travel is another benefit to an ever mobile society as well as a travelling classroom, to learn from the collective resources on the interconnected web, the limitations on access has been the one thing, that the hope is with this bill become a thing of the past.

More On Mobile Phones;

Is society Addicted to Cell Phones?

What Makes the Internet Great?

Cellphones For the Elderly - What are the Benefits?

Posted via email from Knatchwa - Streaming Life

Thanks for reading, keep the world alive and the mind active.

It is worth your time to do a good job. Dust mites are microscopical tiny insects that are invisible to the naked eye. Every home has million dust mites. They feed on human skin flakes and can be found in mattresses, pillows, carpets, upholstered furniture, bed covers, clothes, stuffed toys and fabric and fabric-covered items. Body parts and feces from dust mites can trigger asthma with people who have allergic reactions to dust mites. Exposure to dust mites can cause asthma in children who have not previously exhibited asthma symptoms.[1]Dust mites absorb water from humidity in the atmosphere. They thrive in temperatures around 70 F (21 C) and a relative humidity around 70 percent. [2] Does this information sound creepy? With this information in your head you know now why it's important to dust your entire house regularly. Now that you know why it's important, read on to learn how to do it in these easy steps.

Steps

Gather all the tools your need to dust your house.

Dust systematically. Don't just go and dust random things; instead follow a specific path through your house to make sure that you dust everything. Make sure that your mind doesn't wander of when you dust. Don't get distracted while dusting, since you might miss a spot.

Listen to music while you dust. You'll move faster and it will help you to stay on task.

Move clockwise or counterclockwise trough the room. Dust the furniture near the wall and proceed clockwise or counterclockwise. Just take your damp cloth and start wiping away the dust. Move objects as you go and clean the surface underneath thoroughly. As you replace the items, clean those items as well.

Shake or rinse your cloth regularly. When you notice your cloth has become dirty and full of dust, rinse or shake it out outside of the house.

Dust the hard to reach places. While you are dusting don't forget to dust the hard to reach places, like behind the furniture and crevices in the furniture. Use a small paintbrush to get in the nooks. To reach behind heavy furniture you can use a synthetic duster with a long stick or you can even use a vacuum cleaner. To take away the dust and cobwebs along the wall you can use a damp mop, a brush, or a Swiffer. Don't forget to dust the chandeliers also. Give it a surface dusting once a week. Once a year you can take of the chandelier and clean it thoroughly.

Vacuum fabric furniture. Use the crevice and upholstery attachments on your vacuum cleaner to vacuum things like sofas.

Clean the floors as a final step. Follow up dusting by cleaning the floor. Otherwise, all the dust lays there from the furniture and ornaments you dusted.

Vacuum the floor and any carpets or rugs, and don't miss the corners or under the furniture.

Mop hard floors.

Look for more specific instructions per room here: Bedroom

Pick up everything on the floor and other surfaces. Put everything where it belongs and put clothes in the laundry basket or in the closet.

Dust one side of the room. Carefully dust all the furniture that is standing against the wall. Don't forget to dust the radiator if you have one. Take a radiator duster and dust the inside of the radiator between the wall and the radiator.

Remove the sheets and blankets from the bed. Take off your mattress and vacuum both sides of it. Clean both sides with a damp cloth.

This is a good opportunity to rotate your mattress.

Dust your bed. This is one of the most important tasks, because beds are a prime habitat for dust mites. A typical used mattress may have anywhere from 100,000 to 10 million mites inside. (Ten percent of the weight of a two year old pillow can be composed of dead mites and their droppings.) Mites prefer warm, moist surroundings such as the inside of a mattress when someone is on it. A favorite food is dander (both human and animal skin flakes). Humans shed about 1/5 ounce of dander (dead skin) each week. About 80 percent of the material seen floating in a sunbeam is actually skin flakes. Also, bedroom carpeting and household upholstery support high mite populations.[3] If you have a cover for your mattress this is the perfect time to put it on. Put the mattress back on the bed and remake your bed with clean sheets and blankets.

Vacuum and mop the floor if needed.

Bathroom/toilet

Clean all the bathroom cabinets, inside and out. Don't forget to clean the top of the cabinets.

Clean the wall tiles from floor to ceiling with a sponge to remove stains and dirt. Wipe off the excess water with a chamois or a paper towel.

Clean the tub/shower area thoroughly. A lot of dust accumulates there. Also don't forget to scrub those little nooks and crannies, to clean these you can use an old toothbrush to reach these difficult to reach spots.

Clean the outside of the toilet first. Don't forget to clean any pipes that lead to the floor as it is there that most of the dust is. Later you can scrub the inside of the toilet with bleach or any other product of your choice.

Vacuum and mop the floor.

Hallway

Remove the dust from any paintings and ornaments that are hanging in your hallway.

Remove any cobwebs from the ceiling and the walls.

Vacuum carpets or rugs. Mop hard floors.

Stairs

Dust the sides of the staircase.

Vacuum every corner and nook of each individual step.

Use a damp cloth or mop to clean the individual steps again until you reached the bottom.

Kitchen

Remove every item out of you kitchen cabinets. Clean the inside and outside of the cabinets with a damp cloth. Don't forget to clean the top of the cabinets, too.

Avoid using cleaning products with a strong odor.

Clean any wall tiles. Use a sponge to remove any stains or dirt. Remove any excess water with a chamois or a paper towel.

Clean the counter tops and the sink with the appropriate products.

Dust the chairs and table(s)with a damp cloth, and don't forget to clean the legs.

Vacuum the floor and mop or scrub the floor with a firm brush if you really want to remove all the dirt.

Living room

Dust all the furniture, paintings, and don't forget to clean the top of the furniture as well.

Vacuum the floor and any carpets or rugs. Finish by mopping, if it is a hard floor.

Tips

Having fewer objects to dust makes it easier to dust. If you have many small objects, store them in enclosed storage, such as a box or drawer.

A dryer sheet makes a wonderful dust cloth. Using one will not only pick up dust, it will eliminate static, making it harder for dust particles to adhere to the surface.[4]

Don't forget to dust the light bulbs if you clean lamps. If the dust is really built up on top of the light bulb, the lamp won't give that much light and it will burn up faster then a clean light bulb.

Use allergen-proof bed covers. Cover your mattress and pillows in dust-proof or allergen-blocking covers. These covers, made of either vinyl or tightly woven fabric, prevent dust mites from colonizing the mattress or pillows. Encase box springs in vinyl or plastic covers.

Keep humidity low. Maintain a relative humidity between 30 and 50 percent in your home. A dehumidifier or air conditioner can help keep humidity low, and a hygrometer (available at hardware stores) can measure humidity levels.[5]

To prevent dust on top of furniture you can cover it with an old newspaper. Next time, simply replace it with a new one. If you prefer this method, you can also use a washable cloth covering for certain furniture. You will need to wash it occasionally, but you don't have to look at newspaper or discard it each time.

Things You'll Need

A microfiber dust cloth(s)

A synthetic or feather duster

A vacuum cleaner

A mop

A firm brush

A bucket

Cleaning products of your choice

Dryer sheets (optional)

A ladder or stepstool (optional)

Related wikiHows

How to Clean Rust and Stains from a Tin

How to Clean Fast

How to Improve the Appearance of Your Room

How to Pick Up Broken Glass Splinters

Sources and Citations

Article provided by wikiHow, a wiki how-to manual. To keep it interesting never hurts to explore all that is available. Anyone Else Taking the time To Explore any of the associated services being offered through Opera Unite? If So which ones, and why do you choose that over another?

For that matter the integrated mail system, is it better to use that over any of the numerous web based options? Really the questions I am presenting here are for those who are exploring these alternatives, these other mediums to do many of the same things we have done for as long as the world has continually been connecting more and more whether by mobile, email, social networks or what have you. We have become more and more connected and I wonder is Opera and it's Unite idea going to do exactly that, to bring people into their own community of user created bliss? Or perhaps yet another attempt at a walled garden, I am wondering about your thoughts so please share them down below.

Posted via email from Knatchwa - Streaming Life

Thanks for reading, keep the world alive and the mind active.

Throughout that transition I played a very active role over multiple mediums and recently I was doing the same until I realized there needs to be more to life then just the online verse, and the people who reside there. As time progressed though I found myself using more and more of my time to be on twitter or another social medium and things were not getting done, so as a result I took a breather - relaxed my body and mind, taking a break, an extended one at that of not residing, or being active on any of the multiple mediums. Partially because I was interested to see how much difference it actually made, that is being active or not being active regularly resulted in.

Some of the first things I found out - is that while people come and go with Twitter, it seemed some of those who I knew well and had built up a solid rapport with, continued to stay connected while many of those who just connect for one more follower, seemed to fade out until they disappeared and / or were removed.

As only an indication of what could be on occasion, as this was only a start not a finish. A beginning but not an end is another way to put it. The experiment begin and it is still ongoing, though I may slowly return to the social media verse bit by bit, sometimes you just need to start anew.

Posted via email from Knatchwa - Streaming Life

Thanks for reading, keep the world alive and the mind active.

When living the life of what otherwise would be considered a confirmed bachelor's existence. For lack of a better term or better more endearing term. Or simply because at these hours there are few or now words to use. At such hours I used to spend more time just chatting or really just waiting for those who I knew would be on late at night to come online.

It was not much of a existence you could say, since then I figured out it is important to live life beyond just that, there is a whole world outside of the screen. yet for so long in the simplest terms it was what I figured I could do, when the rest of my life is lived about the same as to many others. It is interesting idea you could say - that some would live life inside a computer, other's not so much. Just words being typed - there not much else to the story I guess - just thoughts running rampant and mind games not being played. Just random thoughts written down - no particular order or design. At least that is how this story is being told for the moment. The last of the late night jazz playing into the night, perhaps it also is a clue that sleep may be in order, thoughts?

Posted via email from Knatchwa - Streaming Life

Thanks for reading, keep the world alive and the mind active.

In doing that you make the first steps in the new direction.
To do that is often easier said then done, but it can be done and should be a constant in making a difference a decision that must really be made in order to step up to the plate, to make the most of your efforts and making the progress that is important through the tough times that are often inevitable in the day by day existence.
The factor that is important to be considered, in making a definitive choice to make the necessary change in order to progress through the challenges of this life. To make a quality decision, with the clear idea of living life fully that is more important then most things. Following the idea, that if you never truly live, and you just let your life pass you by you will miss so much. You only have one opportunity to make the most of this moment and the next and to make a change now to improve the future in leading by example. We as human beings always learn by observing example the factor that aligns with such possibilities. The point being the only way to make a change, is to starting changing what you do to offer a better example, to those who have yet to explore what is beyond the walls of the sheltered existence that is childhood, only seeing their parents as the example.
To change the next generation then is depending on the example the current generation sets for the children of the next generation yet to experience the world beyond this moment. They are completely dependent, on being taught what should be the future. To do that though is a long and enduring process, and is a matter of rethinking and changing the understanding of the situations by also taking the time to re-educate yourself. To Change Views - is a matter of seeing things differently, of making a slightly different choice of each matter.
In re-educating yourself to understand things differently and to progress beyond them and through them by researching the possibilities that exist beyond the current scope of vision. That is a part of the full spectrum of color that is often forgotten when the focus is only on the Black and White Aspect of it. We do not live in a Mono Chromatic world, though often it seems that is what is taught to only see red or blue, black or white, to miss the full range of colors and ideas that when seen and understood opens up the eyes and the mind the see more of the existence, more of the story. To stretch the mind just a bit, in helping to realize there is more to learn, and more to offer as an example of the importance of living life fully.
Posted via email from Knatchwa - Streaming Life

Thanks for reading, keep the world alive and the mind active.

Damn the rain, sometimes, it can be annoying when you set an objective to ride a bike to Monterey every single Tuesday, except for the fact that, when the goal was set it was not ever considered there might be rain, and yet here we are how many Tuesday's have passed andn I have not rode simply because rain is falling. Not like the picture of the bike beside this text, weather like that will probably not be seen until Summer, or even perhaps Spring.
The question seems to be if you make a choice to ride a bike every Tuesday should you ride Rain or Shine or choose a wiser path, where when you ride, you know that from the start to the finish you will be riding with the sun at your back.
Honestly though for true riding in the rain there are tools that are needed, things like Fenders, like money just in case something goes wrong, things that are important on the off chance that things do not work out as planned. The point being, that it is important to consider the weather and how it will relate to your health. Certainly with the lightweight pants and a light shirt with a jacket that will dry quickly, it could be done, but to do that with what I have now, is an exercise in futility. It does not mean the goal is not being met, it is that the goal is constantly evolving just as we do from one day to the next.
Considering that as fact is a first step in understanding that goals though often specific can change, as time progresses there is the consistent inconsistency that will result in that particular goal, coming to fruition. Through that a journey will emerge and challenges will be overcome, it is not that I am not fulfilling the goal I am evolving with the goal, and that makes all the difference.
What do you think? Do goals evolve with you? Should they instead be steadfast and kept to without condition? Or if you do that will you be setting yourself up for failure?
"Certainly our biological make up was the same but those who raised us were not. We each became a very separate person as we had all been through different experiences, some for the better others for the worst. We were a direct result of the home we
had been forced to live in by social services, the most impressionable years lost and each with there own specific training and ideas of what they should be. What priorities should be in place, for the necessary progress from a life that had been damaged, from a family separated not by choice except your own, to not make the changes that were necessary to keep us in the home we once knew seemingly such a long time ago. A life perhaps long forgotten, whether by choice to block what is painful or simply because it truly was that long ago. Regardless of what it may have been, what I know now has made me become who I am today, by practising the free will we each have. To find my own path instead of follow where others have gone. Though that void still resides in a life lost it is better to move on then to try and fill such a thing that often reaches the deepest recesses of the heart."
