SPECIAL NEEDS MUSIC VIDEO PROJECT

8 years ago, Brian Flynn was in need of carers who could work with him. Having Downs Syndrome and autism meant that he needed a carer who could help to enhance his social life; David Kneisler was that carer.

Over the time that David and Brian worked together, they brought out each other's abilities and passion for the arts; including: music, performing arts, film and dance. They created music and movies together.

This project is a music video that showcases Brian's performing abilities and Dave's music and digital media skills.

The creation of this music video project was brought on by a letter that Brian's mother received in 2013 from an organisation that funded Brian's care package, which stated that they would be ending his funding as of March 2015. Also spurring this project was Brian's mixed feelings about the legendary music artist, Justin Bieber.

The idea behind this project is to facilitate a few goals, purposes and possible outcomes. These goals, purposes and possible outcomes include:

• showcasing Brian's talents and abilities
• creating positive awareness for people with special needs and disabilities
• helping with the funding of special needs/disability care and extracurricular activities

Now that this project has become a reality, it is important that the project continues on a meaningful and fulfilling course in order to achieve the purposes and goals through which it was conceived.

Should one feel moved and inspired by this project, you are more than welcome to help and support the cause by doing any or all of the following;

• Share the music video with your family and friends via email, social media, word of mouth, etc.
• Buy a digital copy of the song

Please note: A portion of the money raised from project will be given to Brian and his family for future care and enhancing his daily activities.

There are many companies out there who are creating ways to help get your music heard and available in as many places on the internet as possible. If you have a website or a blog, and you are a musician, you may be looking for a music player to play your music. Two companies that I recommend to anyone looking for music players are SoundCloud and Reverbnation. Not only do both companies provide music players, but they also provide other widgets and applications that can help promote your music online. Their music players and some other widgets and apps are free, so you can take advantage of these offerings in these economically challenging times. In order to use the music players, widgets and apps you need to create an account with them. ALTI POP RAGGA ROCK

If you are finding it hard to conform to the music industry, but you feel that you have some really good music in the works, then you feel how I have been feeling for many years. I've never wanted to conform to what society wanted me to do or be, and I found the journey frustrating. I would like to give you the inspiration of creating innovative ideas to get yourself out there and empower yourself to "make it happen" in the music world.

For example, I created a new music genre called "Alti Pop Ragga Rock" and decided that I was going to be a pioneer in that genre of music. Now that the tables have turned for the independent music artists not needing to rely on the major record labels to create a successful music career, anyone who has the desire to make their music dreams a reality can do so. Now, I have started this record label by myself, so for now I have taken the time to learn many aspects of the music industry and study business information so that I am aware of what is going on in my business. Once the time comes where I can employ others to take on various tasks, I will at least be able to know what is supposed to be happening so I can stay in control of my business. So you can start your business by yourself and work your way towards employing others, or go into business with someone, or others whom you can trust. If you go with the latter, make sure that everything is in writing and agreed upon before setting out in any business venture...

Getting back to the main topic of this particular blog... Creating your own unique music genre can help give you a USP (unique selling point) in regards to being an artist... or google different music genres that have just started, like "Alti Pop Ragga Rock", that have few artists associated with that genre, and get yourself on the world wide web and known for being one of the first artists in that particular genre...

THE KOPIOUS DK1 EP...

The KOPIOUS DK1 EP "INSPIRATION" has been mastered by KNEISLER MUSIC and is nearing ready for it's release... The date of the release will now be changed from April 4, 2011 to a date that will be confirmed once the PPL have sorted the new ISRC code for KNEISLER MUSIC. I found out that the PPL have changed their system for record labels needing ISRC codes, so I needed to re-apply for the KNEISLER MUSIC record label's ISRC code. No worries... I will keep everyone informed on the release date in due time... Stay tuned!!!

UPDATE
The business is steadily building and will, in good time, be achieving a momentum that will be almost orgasmic... It feels really amazing to see through your dreams and take action to make them a reality! Over time, keep checking back on this blog and the KNEISLER MUSIC news, as I will be sharing a lot of information which I stated in the last blog. I have just finished mastering the EP for KOPIOUS DK1, and updated the KNEISLER MUSIC website. Also, I am almost finished creating an accountant's website...

TIP
Actually, here's a small tip for starting out on your own business, which I have done... If you are a website designer, ask anyone who is going to, or might be able to help you with your business if you can offer your service for free... if they do not already have a website, and you are a decent web designer, you may be able to get their service for free or for a much better deal than normally offered... And if you engage with a sound and trustworthy business character, (and you are good at what you do) you can acquire more clients through the recommendations from those who you are helping! There's a bit of marketing strategy for you!
