Good Thursday morning. I hope your week has been great. Mine has been busy with the storms and the 22nd of course. But the rest of the week looks pretty good. Today is back to boat day. I need to finish cleaning my baby up. We will see how far I get, lol. At least the weather looks good. Take a look at the radar below.

Today looks pretty good.

With the warm front to our south, there is a very slight chance we could see a random storm pop up. But most of us will stay dry.

We have a couple systems out to our west. But with this ridge in place and the Jet Stream lifting across the northern plains, they aren’t going to make it here. However, they are close enough to give us some scattered thunderstorms. But we aren’t going to see a big storm system driving through. So scattered thunderstorms will increase towards the weekend.

Doug

Here is your 7-day forecast:

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the Heady Pattern

Next Wednesday-Saturday:

Warm with slight chances for thunderstorms continuing. I think the best chances will be towards the weekend. Also we will have a chance for severe thunderstorms by that time.

June 2nd-8th:

A mild start to the week with still thunderstorm chances on Sunday. Then heating up through the week. Thunderstorm chances again on Wednesday and Thursday. Then warm and dry the rest of the week.

June 9th-15th:

Thunderstorm chances and possibly severe to start the week. Then warm to hot temperatures all week long. But the rest of the week should be mainly dry.

June 16th-22nd:

Slight chances for thunderstorms early in the week. Mainly a hot week with another chance for thunderstorm by the weekend.

Good Wednesday morning. I hope you are having a great week so far. I hope that you all made it through that storms the past couple of days with out much damage. We did have a few tornadoes and we did have a lot of wind damage. Thankfully we didn’t see any huge tornadoes like Moore, Oklahoma had 2 nights ago. Moore had its second EF-5 tornado in 14 years. So of course our thoughts and prayers are with them. Also we all know around here how that is. We had the most deadly single tornado in modern history to hit one city. Of course the 2 year anniversary is today. I know that tornado effected us all. So I will post a picture from May 22nd, 2011.

At least things are pretty calm right now. However we did get a lot of rain in spots. Take a look.

Here is a look at the radar right now.

I think today looks pretty good.

By Thursday, we will see a warm front developing to the south of us. This will give us chances for scattered thunderstorms. Most will be south of us but we could still pick up a few.

As this front lifts through and a wave sticks around out to our west, we will see slight chances for thunderstorms lasting into the weekend. I also updated the long range forecast below.
