Eejanaika (ええじゃないか) is the world tallest, fastest and longest 4th dimension roller coaster, which located at Fuji-Q Highland in Japan. The seats can rotate forward or backward 360 degrees! This is very crazy. I don't like roller coaster, but, this one is too much. Anyway, you might want to try it just once in your life!

As I told you about Macworld Expo 2007 on this post. Yesterday, 9 Jan 07, Apple announced 'iPhone'. It's a mobile phone with iPod and Internet running on OS X. I love the iPhone GUI very much. It's user-friendly and has cool features. Yeah, I know that there are many smartphones like this out there in the market, but you know, Apple always try to be different. Unfortunately, it's not on sale yet and still waiting for authorization. You can notice this at the bottom of Apple's iPhone page.

"This device has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission. This device is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until authorization is obtained."

Another things that Apple announced are 'Apple TV' and new Airport Extreme.

Rabbit Is Not Small

A very very big rabbit ! They said that the photo made this rabbit looks bigger, anyway, it weights 22lbs ! I have seen a big rabbit, bigger than a cat but this one is too big.

"Bred to be that way, apparently, by breeder Karl Szmolinsky of Eberswalde, Germany... the guy holding the beast.

Now apparently the North Koreans want to breed Szmolinzky's rabbits, and have gotten a shipment of the first 12 of them. Szmolinsky himself will head over soon to help set up a farming program there."

What does it mean "12 of them"? 12 of these beasts? at North Korea? They want to eat rabbits? use as a weapon? kamikaze rabbit? rabbit bomb? I don't know.

This seems to be so hot? I don't think so, Here in Thailand, we normally eat hot & spicy food. Sometime really hot. Wanna try? Well, Thai restaurant in your country might not be tasty, hot and spicy like the original one. A Japanese who once ate original 'Som-Tam' in Thailand ended up in hospital for 3 days because he's never eaten it (his body can't stand it). But after that he ate it again and 'Som-Tam' was his all time favourite. Tom-Yum-Kung is a hot menu too. So I say, if you have a chance, ask for the original taste. You won't end up in hospital for sure! It's not that dangerous. Haha...

War Vet Bravely Rescue Teenager

He's very brave ! When the 51-year-old man saw a 19-year-old boy fell down into the track. He jumped out and covered himself and the teenager between the rail and the train passed by !

The good news ? : Both are saved !! Thanks God.

"A 51-year-old man is being called a hero after covering a teenager who fell onto subway tracks in New York as a train passed over them.

Witnesses and officials said Wesly Autrey jumped onto the tracks after Cameron Hollowpeter, 18, suffered a seizure and collapsed Tuesday afternoon in Manhattan. He fell off the platform onto the the subway tracks a few metres below.

Autrey, who was waiting on the train platform with his two daughters, jumped onto the southbound subway tracks where Hollowpeter had fallen.

When he couldn't get him off the tracks as a train approached, he covered the teenager in a space between the rails while two of the train cars passed over them.

"I just chose to dive on top of him and pin him down and pin myself down," said Autrey, a Vietnam war veteran.

The driver saw them and applied the emergency brakes. Police said neither man was hit by the train.

Hollowpeter is in stable condition at a New York hospital, said police. Autrey suffered minor injuries from the jump."

Very interesting F/X scenes in movie. See how digital effects has involved in movie since 1970. They are so subtle that you may not notice them.

Star Wars (1977)

Motion-control photography, in which a computer is used to control a long, complex series of camera movements, made possible the spaceship battles in Star Wars. It would have taken too long to film the scenes manually, says Anne Thompson, deputy film editor at The Hollywood Reporter.
Tron (1982)

It wasn't the first film to use computer-generated (CG) graphics (and many effects were hand-drawn) but the sci-fi video-game fantasy flick Tron was the first to use computer imagery to create a 3D world, making it one of the pioneering CGI films. "Effects people said, 'Let's see what the computer can do,'" says Harry Knowles, movie critic at Ain't It Cool News.
Terminator 2 : Judgment Day (1991)

"Morphing" was first used in Willow (1988), but in T2 the effect was "jaw-dropping," Knowles says. The liquid-metal robot's humanoid texture, which was layered onto a CG model, looked frighteningly real.
Cliffhanger (1993)

Faux alpinist Sly Stallone was held up by wires that were later digitally removed. The ability to erase wires changed how stunts are done: Now stars and stuntmen can be put in real-world environments as well as in front of green screens.
Jurassic Park (1993)

Although they enjoyed only about 6 minutes of screen time, Jurassic Park's digital dinos were a revelation: They introduced CGI live animals with realistic movements, and believably textured muscles and skin. The photorealisitic digital elements were intercut with animatronic dinosaurs.
Forrest Gump (1994)

While most filmmakers in the early '90s used digital effects to create fantasy, the creators of Forrest Gump altered history. Using Kodak's Cineon system, they digitized archival footage, and composited Tom Hanks's character into historical clips.
The Perfect Storm (2000)

Although much previous work had been done to make CGI water look real, The Perfect Storm's monster wave scene set a new benchmark. "Water is an organic thing that's hard to create in software," says Andy Maltz of the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences. "To make it look believable was a big thing."
The Lord of The Rings (2001)

For the huge battle scenes in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the filmmakers created Massive, a computer program that generates crowds of artificially intelligent individuals "who make their own decisions based on behavior patterns," Knowles says. This makes for more realistic battles.
The Polar Express (2004)

Director Robert Zemeckis used a large motion-capture stage and up to 200 cameras to gather data from the performance of Tom Hanks and other actors. This data was used to help animators create digital versions of the actors while maintaining their performances.
The Day After Tomorrow (2004)

The creators of the film about worldwide climatic disaster took more than 50,000 photos of New York City and scanned them into a computer, providing "a 3D, photorealistic model of the city," Thompson says. After that, destroying the metropolis with a giant digital wave was a piece of cake.

Slow down; God is still in heaven. You are not responsible for doing it all yourself, right now.
Remember a happy, peaceful time in your past. Rest there. Each moment has richness that takes a lifetime to savor.
Set your own pace. When someone is pushing you, it's OK to tell them they're pushing.
Take nothing for granted: watch water flow, the corn grow, the leaves blow, your neighbor mow.
Taste your food. God gives it to delight as well as to nourish.
Notice the sun and the moon as they rise and set. They are remarkable for their steady pattern of movement, not their speed.
Quit planning how you're going to use what you know, learn, or possess. God's gifts just are; be grateful and their purpose will be clear.
When you talk with someone, don't think about what you'll say next. Thoughts will spring up naturally if you let them.
Talk and play with children. It will bring out the unhurried little person inside you.
