YES, I delivered my thesis and it feels GREAT !!

I can’t say that I was 100 % satisfied with it, but I’ve never been that with anything I’ve written so… Let’s just hope that I will pass, haha! I have to say that I’ve put a lot of work in it though… I guess I’m also a little bit proud… It’s my bachelor thesis, after all! I have to admit that it feels strange to write in my blog… Especially checking Twitter and Facebook without feeling guilty. I still close the windows after a really quick check, because I still think that I should write on my thesis instead of doing these stuff. Now when I’m done with my thesis, I don’t feel I have anything to do online, LOL!! Anyways, I will continue to write about my ~*life*~. The last entry I wrote is already five weeks old…… 

This day I’m gonna write about was a special day for us in CoutureGals; it wasn’t only the obligatory «Year Meeting» (which is the day we discuss and evaluate how things have been and what to do further more) but also a day where we wanted to celebrate CoutureGals’ four years of existence.

Let me start from the beginning…

We woke up early and bought breakfast. Since we knew we were going to get really busy later, we decided to have our meeting while we ate our breakfast. You know how it is… Four chatty girls? It’s better to take the more serious talk when we’re gathered around the table and not when we are around doing our makeup. I usually don’t write so much about what we’re talking about in our internal meetings, they are internal after all. But I guess I can tell you that I’m really proud of every member. We encourage each other to speak our mind and to not be afraid of telling if there is anything that we don’t like. We discussed how we feel things went since last year’s meeting. When thinking back, I’m very happy about last year. We did a lot of stuff together and we got the chance to see each other very often, and one of our open meetings was a huge success. We did a lot of crazy stuff, and everyone did their best to come to the meetings. That’s the funny thing about us four. We usually suck at keeping in touch online, if I wasn’t sure about our friendship I would probably have thought that we didn’t like each other. But with these girls, things are completely different. Internet doesn’t exist for us, it seems. Luckily, every time we see each other it feels like we’ve never been apart.

We also saved a lot money in our account the past year, and we agreed on keeping the monthly fees. We need to be better at paying in time, though. The girls also had their chance to tell me about how they think my work as a leader have been. Surprisingly, I didn’t hear any negative things and they also wanted me as leader for next year too. I was afraid they were thinking that I’ve been too strict or maybe that they were thinking that I’ve been lazy when it comes to the task I have, but apparently that wasn’t anything to be afraid of. I will work even harder and not disappoint my girls, I won’t let them down. We aren’t only a group of ordinary friends, but also a team that works together. In that way, organized interest based meetings aren’t only for the sake of the interests we share, but also for the friendship we have together. I’m extremely lucky. I couldn’t wish for more.

When we finished the breakfast and the talk, we started to do our hair and makeup. We were all thinking that it was a little bit early, but then we always surprise ourselves when it comes to the time we can use on that stuff. We just wanted to be on the safe side!

In case any of you wonder what kind of hairspray that we in CoutureGals use... hahaha, I love how the four of us are faithful users of this hairspray!

I spent a lot of time on my hair… And also a lot of time on Marita’s hair! And like always, when we’re together, I somehow planned the time really wrong which made me have only a few minutes for the makeup! If I don’t remember wrong, I had 15 minutes for it… So I ended up spending a lot of time on my hair and almost no time on my makeup, which rather looked ridiculous! Oh well, the most important part was that I had fun, and I sure did. I won’t complain.

The cab was coming any minute, so we waited outside. The funny thing is, that we waited for the cab for 20 minutes. I started to get a little irritated, because on the 20 minutes I could do a much better makeup… And not to think about how much it sucks to stand outside with crazy hairdo when it’s snowing as fuck. Luckily I had fabulous girls around me that kept the bad mood away…

We had booked table on the known fine gourmet restaurant Restaurant Eik Annen Etage. I’ve been in many fancy gourmet restaurants before in my life, but somehow not in any in Oslo! I guess it’s easier to spend money eating out when you’re traveling somewhere… Which is kind of sad, I would love to try out the restaurants in Oslo more… I know there are a lot of local food ingredients I should try.

It was a really nice and relaxing atmosphere there!

We got different breads (not pictured) and three kinds of fresh dips as a little start. They had creme, cheese and olive oil as base. Something for everyone!

On this restaurant, they always have five different dishes on their menu. Their menu changes all the time depending on the season and according to themselves they always use the best ingredient available. You can choose between 3, 4 ot 5 courses – and you are free to pick what you want from their menu. We all ordered three courses. While we’re waiting for the food, let me introduce you CoutureGals once more!

As a appetizer we got a fish (which I sadly can't remember the name of...) prepared in four different ways. I'm not sure which of them I liked the best... It might be the raw one, actually!

First course... Cod from Myre and different fresh salad and groceries.

Main course, deer in red wine sauce and various groceries and parmasan. Not joking, this was one of the best piece of meats I've ever tasted. And the chanterelles... omg. I LOVE mushrooms, and chanterelles are one of my favorites. Combined with all this it tasted even better!

Dessert; white chocolate mousse, lemon foam-thing and blood orange sorbet.

All in all, I can’t believe I haven’t eaten here before. I’ve been travelling around the world since I was a kid and have tasted so much… But somehow I haven’t been here in this restaurant before? I will come back again, no doubt. Great service, delicious food, extremely nice place and very nice prices thinking that this is an gourmet restaurant! I highly recommend this place.

1953 NOK in total... With today's exchange rate it's about 260 EUR/ 335 USD. Not bad for 3 courses for four persons and drinks!

Whoa, I’ve been very careful when it comes to this, but since it has been a year now I feel more ready to talk about this topic so I will tell you!

Let us start from the very beginning; from before I knew he existed at all – he added me on Facebook, but I never check out who I approve so I didn’t notice him. For me he was just an another random person that added me on FB. He even commented on my pics but I never noticed him I was in other words not interested at all.

The only times when I noticed him was when he wrote rude and stupid comments, but I ignored them. Not thinking more about his existence at all. I remember I was thinking once that I found «this random wtf person» so annoying hahaha.

But one day, Eivind a close friend of mine, was attending a gyaru meetup in Sweeden and met a lot of new people. He told me he had a lot of fun. And as Eivinds friend, I was curious about what he was doing in that meetup and checked around for pictures and such.

One day I checked on Twitter, and I found someone on «people that are following me» list that had posted a picture which Eivind was in. I found it funny which also made me follow this unknown (but funny!) guy on Twitter back. After that, I got his updates on my Twitter and like any one else on Twitter I comment when I feel like saying something.

After a few more funny conversations on Twitter from time to time, we started to continue chatting on Facebook. And from that to Skype. The conversations started to get longer and longer, and suddenly we had been talking the whole night.

One day Marcus cheered me to join a gyaru meetup held in his town, and… well, I joined and met him. Can’t say that our first meeting was very romantic or anything, it was more like wtf. We kinda acted stupid, it was like we both were triggering each other to act like little immature kids. But somehow he got my heart even thought I still don’t understand how. I can reveal that our first kiss was then – even though I said NO   and he had onion breath Mmh. Even though we were very different, I felt that he was the fun I had been looking for. I’m always the one who has to serious, responsible and mature. But with Marcus I felt that I could have fun. I felt that I could let go of my serious side and just… enjoy the day as it was.

After this I couldn’t forget him, and I had a hard time admitting to myself that I fell in love with him. I realized that I’d heard some bad stuff about him before, and when I also realized that he was this «annoying and rude» guy from Facebook, I doubted even more. And also, I was afraid that it was too soon from the last relationship I was in. I wasn’t sure about what to do, I didn’t want to be in a long distance relationship. I had very bad experience with that. But luckily, Marcus never gave up and visited me and wanted to prove me wrong… He told me he wanted to be with me. We did a lot of stuff together in the summer, he visited me a lot. He even made me visit him. I’d never thought that I would do so much weird stuff for someone, but I guess love can drive the most reserving person crazy too. I got the chance to know him more, which made me like him more than ever.

In he end of the summer, I started to get used to the distance. I mean, Norway to Sweden was far away – but not impossible. We could see each other every 2nd weekend. But Marcus had some bad news… He had plans in Japan. I didn’t admit it back then, but it broke my heart. I felt that it was unfair, and that he had betrayed me. All the work, time, feelings, conversations… everything I did for a guy that I wasn’t even sure about in the beginning ending up like this?

The distance is hard, I’ve admitted it many times here before. We have been having a lot of fights, everyday might be the last day we hear from each other. But we both worked (and are working!) really hard to keep in touch and to get money to see each other. We’ve tried to always to have a date to look forward to. Hm, I guess you guys knows the rest of the story as I’ve written about the long distance relationship here…

But hey, in one month, we will have our first anniversary! And if everything turns out the way we want, we will announce more good news in summer. Wish us good luck!

And we’ll… Yeah, that’s pretty much that’s going on these days. I usually don’t write posts like these, but I got a comment on my last entry that made me realize there might be some people that are checking my blog and hoping for updates! I checked the stats, and surprisingly there is people browsing on my blog from time to time… Thanks for the comment, btw. I just felt that I could at least explain what’s going on…

I can give a quick update on what you can expect to read in the future (has to be in the middle of May somewhere, I’m sorry!)

- CoutureGals obligatory year meeting (the most important meetup of the year, fancy dresses and fancy restaurant!)
- My visit to Japan in March/April
- My new hair color
- A mini review on my new tablet: Asus Transformers Prime 64GB (my new toy these days!!!!)

Ehhh, I can’t come up with more, actually. My last blog entry was about something that happened in… February? So I can’t remember right now what else I will update about, lol.

Ingvild and Marita. Sorry for censoring your pretty faces, but I haven't had time to ask you about what you were thinking about publishing them !! I'm speedblogging atm!

We are always crazy when we're togehter and eat a lot of junk food!

We hadn’t really planning on doing something special, but we decided to go out clubbing. Since our youngest member Ingvild isn’t20 yet, the places we could decide between was very limited. We decided to go to Luux, since it sounded OK and the entrance was free for ladies that night.

The place was actually OK in my opinion, I think I’ve had too many bad experiences with places that let 18 year old people in. The price of the drinks were normal Norwegian prices and the place itself looked really nice and fancy! Didn’t even need to wait long to get into the toilet.

No drama, no stupid people around! It was possible to hang two jackets and a bag in one wardrobe tickets, so in all it wasn’t really expensive. I am willing to go here again!

And this whole month I’ve been freezing my ass off every night because it’s so cold in my room – somehow the central heating system inside my room doesn’t work. The first night sleeping here alone was horrible, and I tried to figure out how to turn on the heating system in my room. I tried to twist the tap, but that didn’t do anything – it wasn’t possible to twist it more. The heating system doesn’t work, simply enough.

I have been thinking about buying a electric heater, but I’ve waited with it because I don’t want to spend money on it and it would only give me higher electricity bills. It IS horrible to sleep in such a cold room, but it isn’t that bad if I wear a lot of clothes and socks.

Five minutes ago I realized that I’ve only tried to twist the tap to the right, but never to the left (don’t ask me why I was thinking about it, I really don’t know myself). So I did, and guess fucking what?

The heater is now on.

All the other times I’ve been trying to turn on the heating system, I’ve been twisting the tap to the right. WHY. What the fuck is wrong with me???? Isn’t it very common to twist the other way if the first way was wrong???

It was really hard to twist, but still……GAH.

I’m happy that my room is heated and I’m not grumpy over freezing unnecessarily for a whole month, but I seriously can’t get over how stupid I am sometimes.

Well, what can I say? On this day, my second flatmate (he will be referred as L, the other guy will be referred as F in my blog) moved in. SOoooooo, all of us three has moved in now! We popped a champagne, but since I’m not good at it – all of the champagne ended up on the floor. Nice, huh?

TONIGHT WE GONNA LICK ON THE FLOOR

It was pretty hard to wake up, I’ve been worrying about Marcus the whole night. I hadn’t heard from him, and in this writing moment I have still not heard from him. I know his plane should have arrived a few hours ago, and I hope he is safe and good now.

Anyways, I started my day with breakfast, checking my mail, a little makeup and planning – but guess what? The clock was too much already so I had to run and stress on my way to school. I really can’t believe it, how is it possible that the times flies so fast? It happens all the time. No matter how early I wake up, I’ll always be late.

Wish me good luck, and let’s hope I’ll get my bachelor degree this autumn! It feels good to be back!
