Hva er Zalando?
Zalando er kort forklart en nettbutikk der hvor du kan få tak i det aller meste du trenger av klær. Zalando har klær, sko og tilbehør til dame, herre og barn – i tillegg til at de også selger interiørartikler. De selger klær i alle slags prisklasser og fører mange forskjellige merker, blant annet Filippa K, Vero Moda, Replay, Jeffrey Campbell, UGG Australia og Lacoste.

Jeg kikket rundt i nettbutikken, og jeg må si jeg er imponert over utvalget. Her kan du virkelig finne deg alt av hverdagsklær eller noe mer spesielt til en for eksempel en fest. Det er lett å navigere rundt i nettbutikken, du kan surfe rundt under merker, pris, farge eller spesifikke plagg. Så ser du etter noe spesifikt skal det ikke være vanskelig å finne det hos Zalando!

Jeg falt for en veldig flott trench-coat fra ESPRIT og bestemte meg for å bestille den.

Levering
Jeg la inn min bestilling hos Zalando den 17. januar (torsdag, kveldstid), og pakken min kunne hentes i min lokale dagligvarebutikk allerede 21. januar (mandag) etter helgen! Pakken ble sendt fraktfritt med Tollpost Globe (MyPack), noe jeg aldri har hatt negative erfaringer med. Når pakker blir sendt med Tollpost, vil man alltid få ett sporingsnummer via epost når pakken har blitt sendt slik at du til enhver tid kan følge med på pakken. Jeg er veldig overrasket over at Zalando tilbyr gratis frakt med sporing, de fleste nettbutikker tar gjerne omtrent en hundrelapp for det samme.

Skulle det være slik at du trenger å returnere noe til Zalando, gjør de det så enkelt at returnering av varer også er gratis.

Jakken ble sendt i en solid pappeske, og i pakken ble det brukt rikelig med bobleplast. Selve jakken var pakket inn i en plastikkpose. Hadde jeg bestilt noe som var skjørt så hadde jeg ikke blitt bekymret i det hele tatt for at det skulle bli ødelagt under transport.

Kundeservice
Jeg var dessverre dum og klarte å skrive feil e-postadresse når jeg skulle registrere ny brukerkonto, så ordrebekreftelse og sporingsnummer ble sendt til en e-postadresse som ikke eksisterte. Dette var naturligvis noe jeg ikke ble klar over før lenge etter at jeg hadde sendt inn en bestilling. Jeg stusset nemlig over at jeg aldri fikk en orderebekreftelse, og tok kontakt med Zalandos kundeservice. Kun noen minutter senere fikk jeg svar fra deres kundeservice der hvor de kunne opplyse meg om hva som hadde skjedd. De kunne forklare at jeg hadde registrert meg inn på feil e-postadresse, og at alle mailene de hadde sendt til meg naturligvis hadde blitt send til den adressen. De gav meg enkle instrukser for hva jeg kunne gjøre videre for å få endret på dette.

Produktet
Jeg har allerede noen plagg fra ESPRIT fra før av, så jeg visste hva jeg kunne forvente meg når det gjaldt kvalitet. Med tanke på at jeg igjen kjøper fra dette merket, så er det jo innlysende at kvaliteten er på topp. Det jeg derimot var spent på, var hvordan fargen på plagget var i forhold til fargene bildene. Det er altfor mange ganger jeg har opplevd at fargen på plagget ikke helt stemmer med fargen jeg hadde sett på bildene. Fargen stemte heldigvis 100% med bildene! Her er det ingen grunn til å bekymre seg.

Størrelsene er også ganske riktige – og hvis du er usikker kan du alltids følge deres detaljerte størrelsesguide som du vil finne på siden deres.

Kort oppsummert så er jeg veldig fornøyd med hele opplevelsen min jeg har hatt med Zalando. Jakken er veldig flott, jeg er imponert over deres kundeservice, frakten var gratis og kjapp så jeg kommer garantert til å handle hos Zalando igjen!

Jeg fikk noen produkter fra TRESemmé i posten i midten av desember, i forbindelse med at deres nyeste serie; TRESemmé Split Remedy. Jeg har nå endelig fått testet produktene deres, og deler nå mine tanker om det.

Disse produktene fikk jeg. Fra venstre: mousse, hårspray, varmebeskytter, balsam og sjampo. De to sistnevnte er fra deres nye «Split Remedy»-serie.

Moussen har jeg brukt på den lange luggen min, den holder håret på plass samtidig som at den gir glans og fylde slik at luggen ikke ser tynn ut.

Varmebeskytteren beskytter håret mot varme, noe som er et must hvis man bruker stylingredskap med varme. Den sprayer jevnt og har en lås ved halsen slik at du trygt kan ha den med deg i koffert eller veska.

MEN, til de produktene jeg er mest spent på:

«Split Remedy», sjampo (øverst) og balsam.

Produktene lover å reparere splittede tupper og forebygge flisete hår etter tre behandlinger. Resultatet skal være blankt og sunt hår. For å nå det resultatet har TRESemmé hatt ioner i tankene; i følge TRESemmé er splittede hårtupper negativt ladet. Produktene i Split Remedy-serien er er positivt ladet, og skal dermed legge seg mellom delene av de ødelagte hårtuppene og fungere som et lim som holder dem sammen når håret tørker.

Jeg har jo fra før av ionisk krølltang, hårføner, rettetang – så jeg er ikke helt ukjent med ordet ioner i hårpleie. Jeg aner derimot ikke hvordan dette fungerer i praksis, men jeg tror det kanskje er den nysgjerrige og skeptiske delen av meg som kanskje overtenker. TRESemmé klarer i alle fall å få det til å høres fancy ut, det skal de ha.

Flaskene er på 500 ml, og oppgitt pris var 65 kr per stykk. Mye produkt for pengene, med andre ord.

Jeg vil først uttrykke hvor fornøyd jeg er med lukten. Som oftest synes jeg slike produkter har en altfor sterk (eller ingen) lukt, men lukten på disse synes jeg var helt ok. Lukten er ikke sterk, den er behagelig og hadde ikke krasjet med noen av mine parfymer.

Sjampoen er som dere ser veldig «vannete», noe som gjør den lett å fordele jevnt ut over hele håret.

Jeg har fra før av DØDT hår, så sjampoen var ikke optimal for meg. Håret mitt er fra før av veldig tørt, noe som krever ekstra stell. Håret kjentes enda tørrere når jeg vasket det med sjampoen. Men håret ble rent, det skal de ha.

Balsamen har en tykk konsistens, slik jeg foretrekker at balsam er. På den måten kan man ha produktet i håret i de anbefalte 2-3 minuttene, uten at produktet glir bort ut av håret.

Jeg var derimot veldig fornøyd med balsamen. Jeg var veldig overrasket over at jeg ikke måtte bruke stor mengde som de fleste billigere produkter. Håret ble umiddelbart silkemykt og jeg kunne kjenne at håret ikke lenger «floket seg» når jeg skylte av.

Håret ble mykere og glattere, og tuppene er mer «samarbeidsvillige». Man kan se det på måten håret ligger. Tuppene mine burde ha blitt stusset for lenge siden, men Split Remedy-serien får de til å se bedre ut.

TRESemmé Freeze Hold hårspray

Det er den eneste hårsprayen jeg har vært fornøyd med siden jeg brukte den for første gang, så jeg ble kjempeglad når jeg så at denne også var i pakken. Den har vært min #1 hårspray siden begynnelsen av 2010. Jeg har prøvd mange andre sprayer, men absolutt ingenting har klart å tilfredstille behovet mitt så godt som denne hårsprayen. På absolutt alle bilder der hvor jeg har krøller, har jeg brukt denne hårsprayen. Hvem husker ikke den syke frisyren jeg hadde for en tid tilbake? Den var selvfølgelig laget med hjelp av denne hårsprayen. Jeg tuller ikke når jeg sier at frisyren holdt seg hele kvelden og var like fin dagen etter. De andre jentene i den samme posten brukte også produkter fra TRESemmé, så det er ikke bare jeg som har denne oppfatningen.

I’ve been busy with different things lately, but I’ve spent most of my time with M and looking for a full time job. So far, everything’s good. I feel very lucky for getting so many job interviews and even job offers in this short time. I have a few interviews left this week, so I haven’t said yes to any offers yet. Hopefully I will be ready to consider the job offers before this weeks ends.

Other than that, this day has been sooo awesome. This might be one of the first days since last update where I don’t have anything planned to do at all (except from the job interviews, but that was on day time so it doesn’t count). I enjoy being alone and do all the small unimportant stuff I always postpone. Like updating here…

Me today, right after a tanning session. I look dead, kinda.

I’m not sure if I want to be tanned or pale. I’ve been tanned the past 7 years, but lately I’ve been extremely lazy with tanning and I’ve started to like the pale look too. I don’t feel tanning is that important anymore. Tanning does help my skin problems (I don’t think I’ve mentioned it here in the blog before, but I have chronic atopic dermatitis and tanning was one of the most effective ways to treat it), but I’ve been taking much better care of my skin lately so tanning isn’t necessary anymore.

I spent my Christmas vacation in my hometown with my family. It was good to see everyone again, I’ve been missing them so much. I got a lot of nice presents and we ate a lot of delicious food, it couldn’t have been any better. I wish it could last longer.

Too bad I can’t post any pictures because I wan’t to respect peoples privacy, but here’s a Christmas-ish picture I took!

The first thing I did when I arrived Oslo was to visit M. M had prepared a nice sushi dinner, too bad I forgot to take pictures But here’s a picture of a salad we had as breakfast!

Usually, I’m very strict about what I eat but it’s hard to be on a diet when I’m with M. I should see him less, JK.

I was at Ms place for a couple of days before we went to my place to celebrate New Year with a few close friends of mine. I hadn’t planned to have any guests over at all (the original plan was to celebrate at someone elses place…), so everything was done in a hurry, but I’m happy with the result anyway. I think we did a good job!

It was soooooooooooo gooooooooood to see everyone again. I don’t know why we don’t meet up like this more often, because I truly enjoy the time we spend together. I should be better at suggesting things to do I guess, but it’s kinda hard when we all have different things to do.

Anyway, after a few hours we went to a party. Saw the fireworks, chatted a bit before M and I decided to go back home.

My eyemakeup has been like this lately, no liner and lashes under the eye.

I’m kinda used to not wear fake lower lashes now. I do wear them on special occasions, but rarely on normal days. It saves me a lot of time! I still prefer the more dramatic look, but if feels great to be OK with lighter look too.

My mother gave me a Christmas present which she wanted me to open already, because she knew I was going to buy it myself really soon if not. She knew my bottle is almost empty, so she bought it to me!

The perfume Chance from Chanel, EDT

According to my mother, buying presents to me is very hard because she thinks I’m very picky (lol wtf) so she wanted to be safe. Chanel Chance is my everyday fragrance, so there’s no doubt I will use it!! I’ve always preferred EDP, but I’m suspecting that I’m wearing too much perfume so getting a EDT was perfect! 

I like that the Chance bottles has different caps, I have the EF and EDP version too – but it wasn’t before I got the EDT that I realized that the bottle cap kinda looks more luxurious depending on the perfume type!

On the other day, I received a huuuge package. Most of it are creams and masks I’ve bought before and finished, but there’s a few new stuff I haven’t tried before there too. I’m a happy girl.

My parents and I ate oysters earlier today… I’m so happy I get the opportunity to eat so much delicious food, and I appreciate that I have so many people to share the yummy food with.

HERROW LAPTOP, WHAT'S UP?

It was my last day at work today, it’s finally Christmas vacation for meeeeeee. I’m not sure what I’m gonna do with all this free time, maybe I should start on a new project or something? Or maybe learn a new parapara-routine? LOL!!!!

I had a lot of fun last weekend; I was at Ingvilds birtday party on Saturday! We did take a lot of pictures, but most of them aren’t suitable to post online.

I was on a date with this mysterious M again on Sunday. M surprised me with a very cute flower and a dinner at a Italian restaurant! The restaurants name is Eataly and it’s located in Aker Brygge.

I really recommend Eataly. Delicious food and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for dates. I wanna come back for more and I want to try out their pizza!!!

We went to cinema and saw The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. To be honest I didn’t expect it to be any good, the book is actually one of my favorites and I was afraid the movie would be a huge disappointment. But I really liked the movie, I have a feeling this will be a movie I’m gonna watch over and over again in the future. I’m really looking forward to the next movie!!!

The flower I got from M. I think M is paying a lot of attention when I tell him stuff. I think I one time long ago mentioned that I liked these kind of flowers. Cute, right?

This is... a picture I took of myself in front of my mirror in my bedroom a few days ago. That morning, I was thinking that my hair is very long and I'm happy I'm not addicted to extensions to make the hair look thick anymore.

A lot of people are asking me how I managed to get my hair this long and healthy again, and the answer will always be the same; I haven’t done much. In fact, I’ve stopped to do things about it to let it have some rest.

My hair haven’t touched hair dye since april, I curl or straighten the hair maximum once every week, I don’t backcomb, etc. So basically, the new hair I’ve been growing the past half year is in perfect condition.

And where the damage is done already, like at the ends, I try to take some extra care with some good products. Heat protections, oils, and of course good shampoo and conditioner. Let me introduce you to some of my hairs best friends:

Shampoo and conditioner from the "Extreme" series from Redken

I’m not joking, when I use something else the fragile parts of my hair hair goes back to the bad, frizzy condition immediately. These product has to contain something special (or at least contain higher % of something, I’m not a shampoo professor so IDK!!!), since I haven’t found anything else that makes the ends as smooth and shiny like these. Not even other produtcs from other series from Redken makes my hair feel this soft like these products from the Extreme series.

The products are kinda stopping the already damaged hair to get worse, so I get some time to grow out some new hair instead of cutting everything off and walk around with short hair.

These products are on the expensive side, and the bottles are a bit small, but compared to other products these doesn’t contain much water so you won’t need much. I re-purchase this shampoo and conditioner once every month, while I had to buy a new bottle every week with other shampoos. So in the long run it will be worth it!

I’m not going to do any review, so no texture or before-after pictures or describing how they smell or what the f. But my opinions are always sooo interesting and that should be enough!!!

But I like these products.

I just wanted to let you know about them in case you need something like this and didn’t knew about them. They’re worth a try!

Like most other people here I’ve been writing Christmas cards and shopping Christmas presents! I loooove buying Christmas presents. I wish I could show you guys what I’ve bought to my closest friends and family because everything is so awesome IMO

It’s tempting to tell everyone to open them up NOW!! I’m not done yet, I still have a lot of more present to wrap. I’m expecting the two last packages, they’re shipped with EMS so hopefully I will get all the last stuff I’m missing tomorrow! Hopefully everything will be ready to be given away the next days!!

Except from preparing for Christmas and working, I’ve been with friends in the free time (+ sitting in front of the TV playing Halo 4 and eating too much carbs). I was with a couple of friends last Saturday and I ate traditional Norwegian Christmas dinner for the first time this year:

The main ingredients are Serrano ham, mango and mozzarella. The combination is eugheiurgieurg. It's one of my favorite tastes, actually!

BUT ENOUGH ABOUT FOOD, I’M GETTING HUNGRY SO STOP IT PLEEEASE.

I received a huge package from Nelly.com the other day. I usually don’t mention things I get in the mail (it’s too much and not that interesting. Besides, I’m actually ashamed of my shopping habits too ), but this package was huuuuge and not surprisingly it contained new shoes. And shoes are very post worthy, right? I was supposed to find some flat shoes, but I got so distracted by the other shoes so I totally forgot to buy. I ended up buying new high heeled shoes, again.

I haven’t worn all the shoes I received in the package yet, it’s too much snow around to walk around in pumps. I don’t want to ruin the heels. I’ve only worn this pair so far:

I really like them! The heel is only 9,5 cm, so it’s perfect for walking longer distances and work. Simple, but still sexy!

And since I’m already writing about things I got in the mail; I received the October issue of Egg Magazine the other day. I ordered this magazine right after the publication date, but didn’t receive it before now. It usually takes about a week for magazines from Japan to arrive, but this time it took two months! I wonder what happened to it? It must have been stuck somewhere!

I was a little bit sad to get such a old issue, the magazine shows outfits for late summer while it's super cold here :') But the magazine came with a d.i.a. mirror so I'm not complaining!!

BUT OK BYE, SLEEPTIME. I have a lot of stuff to do tomorrow, goodnight!!!

Jeg fikk tilsendt en personalarm fra Enklere Liv, og fikk endelig tid til å åpne opp pakken for å ta en titt på dette produktet.

Så, hva er altså dette? Dette er altså en alarm som kan festes til ditt nøkkelknippe, noe som etter min mening er kjempesmart for da vil du alltid ha den med deg.  Jeg skal være ærlig, det er ofte jeg har tenkt at jeg burde ha hatt en eller annen form for alarm i tilfelle det skulle oppstå skumle situasjoner. Jeg har ofte blitt tipset om pepperspray, men tanken om å gå rundt med pepperspray har liksom aldri vært noe for meg.

Jeg har derimot som vane å ha hendene i lomma og holde på nøklene mine om jeg føler meg utrygg, for nøkler er spisse og det kan brukes til forsvar. Jeg ble derfor veldig positivt overrasket når jeg forstod at denne alarmen er bygd slik at du kan feste nøkkelen din på den slik at den kan brukes til å forsvare deg selv med. Alt du trenger å gjøre er å vippe nøkkelen på plass, og da har du plutselig et flott verktøy til å forsvare deg selv med.

Det som overrasket meg mest, må være lyden. Jeg var forberedt på at lyden skulle være høy, men det gikk seriøst over all forventning. Jeg skrudde på alarmen under puter og dyner (siktet til og med ned i madrassen), men fikk likevel vondt i øret. Mildt sagt er lyden meget ubehagelig og forstyrrende. Jeg kan forestille meg at den voldsomme alarmen kan bidra til å både avverge eventuelle situasjoner og for å tilkalle hjelp/oppmerksomhet.

For å aktivere alarmen trenger du bare å trykke inne knappen (som er plassert på bunnen, på motsatt side av der hvor nøkkelen er). Lyden kommer ut der hvor nøklen er festet.

Jeg kommer definitivt til å beholde denne på nøkkelknippet mitt. Nå kommer jeg alltid til å ha en alarm og et redskap til selvforsvar tilgjengelig. Jeg anbefaler virkelig denne alarmen! Den koster 149 kr (batterier inkludert), og det er en liten pris å betale for at du skal føle deg tryggere.

So, the other day I managed to delete EVERYTHING on my phone, including all the pictures I’ve been taken. Boooooooooooooo-uuuuuurrrrnnnnnnsss!!!! I was super angry so I wasn’t in the mood for any updates at all because of that. But I’m kinda over it now because I realized that I can use some of the super hipster-ish and blurry pictures from my Instagram account. I should stop updating on Instagram and post more directely here instead, but… Ehhhhh…

I’m gonna start this blog entry with this picture:

The HOTTEST look this winter: Red nose. How to achieve this look: -15°C (or colder temperature) is all you need! LOL!!! This is a pic I took of myself earlier this day when I waited for the bus. I was thinking I looked kinda funny with red nose, it matches my blush. Not that you can see it in this picture, but oh well.

It’s especially one thing I’m addicted to this winter, and that’s yogurt face mask! I know it’s important to use a thick/heavy cream in this extremely cold temperature, but I really can’t handle those creams on my face at all… Most of them makes my face feel greasy and I want to wash it away all the time. But yogurt face mask have been helping me to keep my skin moisturized this winter without leaving that greasy feeling!

This yogurt mask is from the Japanese brand "PureSmile" and has a citrus smell. It looks, feels and smells like ordinary yogurt so it was so tempting to taste it lol

I haven’t tried that many yogurt masks yet, so I’m still in the testing process. BUT my favorite so far has to be the Kiwi Yogurt Mask from Skinfood, it leaves my skin soooo sooooft! But my skin feels a bit dry at the end of the day, so it’s not perfect when it it comes to moisturizing my skin. I think the Kiwi Yogurt Mask would be perfect for autumn, though! I’m gonna continue testing different kinds of yogurt masks, so if you know any good products please let me know!

And related to testing; I’ve been buying a lot of beauty products I’m gonna give away as Christmas presents this year, and most stores send with a few products samples. Here are a few of them:

I’ll never have enough time to test all of them, and to be honest;  I’m too happy with some of the products I’m already using so I don’t feel like trying something else either. They would have been good for travelling, but I don’t dare to try out new products in case my skin breaks out.  BUT it was especially one sample I found interesting:

Snail cream!!!! I think I got snail cream samples from three or four different brands (the one on this picture is from the South-Korean brand ElishaCoy), and it seems like it's the hottest thing in Asia right now? Or maybe it's been popular for a while, IDK. But it's new for me!

People that knows me personally knows that there’s especially one thing I’m extremely afraid of, and that’s of course snails. I can’t even remember how my first reaction was when I realized that I was holding a sachet that contained snail extract. I think I got kinda shaky and extremely nauseous. I’m really afraid of snails 

I must admit that I was very curious so I did some research. A lot of people are saying that snail creams really improved their skin in the dramatic way, and… Well, I’ve actually decided to try out snail cream even though I have snail phobia. If snail cream really is a miracle product, it would be worth it so I will try it (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). I got 8 sachets of ElishaCoy‘s Skin Repairing Snail Cream in total, and that should be enough to give it a really good chance and time to work.  So that’s the product I’m gonna try out.

I’M REALLY GONNA SUFFER FOR BEAUTY. Or something. So let’s hope it will be worth it, OKAY! BUT FIRST OF ALL LET’S HOPE I WON’T FAINT BEFORE I APPLY IT ON MY FACE. Wish me good luck!!!

Another update from my tablet before I fall asleep. I’m too lazy to find and edit any pictures so I will use pictures from my Instagram account. And eh, I’m too tired to read trough my blog entry so I’M SORRY FOR ALL THE WEIRD SENTENCES AND SPELLING MISTAKES.

Two weeks since my last update… I don’t know why I haven’t spent more time on updating – I love to update my blog! Not that I have that much to share, I really don’t know what I’ve spent my time on. It’s not like I’m working that much, I have more free time now than I had before. I was thinking it had to be the sleeping, but according to my sleep tracker I usually don’t sleep more than 6 hours.

It might be I’ve forgotten what I’ve been doing – I used to take a lot more pictures before which reminded me. And, well, I’m not good at taking pictures anymore. The few times I take pictures are mainly when someone is asking me to do so, or if I’m really-really bored. So basically my phone’s gallery is filled with pictures of party pictures, food, shoes and my face. BOOOOOOOORING.

Other than that, I feel happy. More happy than I should, considering my life situation right now. A lot of stuff is going on, and I’m very stressed and it seems like things won’t be the way I wanted them to be. But in the end, I still have my friends and family which are the most important and precious things in life. Once again they’ve supported me in decisions I thought no one would every accept. When I have their support, how everything else turn out doesn’t really matter. It feels great to have these kind of people in my life. I feel safe. I know I can trust them. I know they will be there for me no matter what, and they know they feel the same about me. I don’t need to worry about anything, I can be myself. You know who you are, and I am very thankful for your support.

Ehhhhh… Enough about that, over to the fun stuff! M took me out for dinner, twice:

Tortellini with ham, one of my favorite pasta I think the restaurant's name was "Santino's", I'm not sure if I remember right - I'm too lazy too Google it while I'm on my tablet. It's located not far away from Youngstorget.

Indian food! The restaurant's name is "Ghandi" and is located in Majorstuen I really recommend this place, amazing food and nice atmosphere.

I like going out. A good excuse to wear something else than the boring outfits I wear because of work and to eat something yummy, and of course to spend some good time with M.

I've bought a few pair of shoes, but these are post worthy. Glitter pumps with gold heels! I feel like a princess when I'm wearing them.

My CG sis Maria visited me on Friday, and she was here until Sunday. I haven’t seen her since July so it was soooo good to see her again. There is especially one thing I like about Maria, and that’s her humour. We share the same kind of bizarre humour. I’m always having fun when I’m with Maria, no matter what we do.

We tried to take some nice pictures together to have as memory, but we're kinda... crazy. Most of our pictures are more weird than pretty, lol. We're posing with our Samsung Galaxy S3 phones in this pictures, only because we love our phones.

A random picture of me and... fruits. I like fruits. And. I'm not supposed to eat these kind of fruits. But Maria had one of those so I had to get one too. So. That moment was so special that I had to take a picture of it. And post it. Yeah. Something.

Xiaoting celebrated her birthday on Saturday  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GIRL! Finally 20! The theme was Glitter & Glam, so I was really looking forward to it. I love to dress kirakira and I wish I could do it more often!
