Many of the comments mention how Mapleton�s automating of the greatest radio station on the planet, their disregard for the listeners and DJs and just plain bad judgment, have made KPIG just like all the other soulless Clear Channel stations out there.

What they are doing to KPIG is a shame�hell, even I hardly listen to it anymore, and I work here!! That�s pretty sad!

But you need to understand that to equate Mapleton with Clear Channel isn�t really a bad thing in Adam�s eyes�he wants Mapleton to be like Clear Channel�he wishes it could be like Clear Channel�he thinks Clear Channel is a great business model�you know, leave your soul at the door, throw creativity out the window, automate everything, pay the lowest possible wages to what few employees you do have (and by no means ever give raises)�and keep all the money for yourself! It�s so simple!

I have to say, Adam, you�ve got the soulless part down�uncreative (check!)�automation (you betcha!)�lowest wages (affirmative!)�big bank account (do doubt)�

I guess what I�m trying to say here is, what can any of the listeners or DJs say to get through to Adam Nathanson about what a tragic mistake he�s making with KPIG, when he already thinks that he�s doing everything right�it all makes sense to him.

And that�s the problem, you see, KPIG is senseless�it makes no sense�it never should have worked but it did and it does and it�s popular and it makes money and the sponsors and listeners are extremely loyal�The owners sit and scratch their heads because it doesn�t fit any rational sound business plan�it fits no formula that anyone sitting in an office could ever come up with because it makes no sense!!

That�s why people love The PIG�it makes no sense, it�s ridiculous, it�s outrageous it�s fun loving and fancy free�but at the same time it�s hopeful and helpful and kind.

KPIG is everything that Clear Channel and Mapleton Communications are not�it�s real, it�s genuine, it�s creative, it�s loving and caring�it has a soul!!!
