So, when I do take on sessions, I am pretty selective these days. This family is pretty special to our family. They were our introduction to the world of CrossFit. We have come a long way since then, and still love it (after the work out of course, no one loves it during…lol)! Rocky is the kind of coach who has more faith in your abilities than you have in yourself! Everyone needs at least one cheerleader in their corner like that. If I am completely honest, in the beginning I hated, not hate, just did not love the days he coached. I think it was more that I was afraid of the work I would have to put in or the weight he was sure I could lift. In the end, it made me better……stronger. I did put my foot down on occasion, you have to be careful when you are at the mature age that I am, we don’t bounce back quite as quick as we used to. (You can laugh, I am totally cool with it:)

Rocky and Tiffany thought their family was complete, but not quite. They have 2 wonderful kids, but were ‘surprised’ with another addition on the way! Their family will be blessed with a baby boy in March and I am so happy for them! Congratulations you guys! I can not wait to meet baby Jack.

Tiffany is wearing pregnancy well!! And this light…….so dreamy!

The light was all kinds of beautiful, so I took a couple of shots I would not normally take. The sunset was beautiful and even this photo does not do it justice.

I was so honored to be asked to capture Amy and Tim’s maternity session. Amy and I are members at the same gym. And yep, this hot mama to be is still working out! Cross fit is hard enough on it’s own, let alone 9 months pregnant! It was such a pleasure photographing them! They were an easy-go-with-the-flow kind of couple and made my job easy. I can not wait to meet your little guy and know you will do great at this parenting thing!

She looked amazing and had the details right down to the nail polish!

We slipped off of the beachside for a few minutes and man oh man, it was so hot and stagnant! I grew up in Central Florida, like Amy and Tim, and we all agreed that there is nothing like our coastal breezes in the summer time. I am not sure I would survive summer without those wonderful sea breezes.

June weather in South Florida can be unpredictable. One thing to count on is the definite chance of rain. The warm weather settled into South Florida fairly early this year, and this day was no exception. The rain and thunderstorms rolled in during hair and makeup and then during the ceremony. But thankfully, the sun reappeared and we were able to get some wedding party and bride and groom portraits. It was pretty steamy, but I will take that over the rain any day. Everything turned out amazing. Speaking of amazing, I love this couple! They are organized and know what they want, but so much fun too. It is very evident that family and friends are very important, and on this day even more so. Their guests traveled from as far as Hawaii to Germany to come celebrate with them. Those are good friends and family! Congratulations TerryAnn and Brandon, I am so happy for you both and wish you many years of health, happiness and love! It was such a pleasure getting to know and work with you!

How about a penny for good luck? They thought of everything.

We started off at the Owl House in downtown Stuart. The girls were relaxed and enjoying the moment!

This guy did so good during the ceremony.

They had an amazing cocktail hour. Food, drinks, Steele Band, and cigar rollers.

We battled the weather right from the beginning, but these guys were great and we just rolled with it. If you live in South Florida you know what I am talking about, especially this time of year. The rain broke at just the right times and we were able to get in their family and bridal portraits, and were very thankful for that.

So happy and such a beautiful young lady, inside and out, always smiling!

I am not sure why, but all of my brides have amazing hair! Actually, all of these girls did!

The sun was out long enough to shine in and give us some wonderful mother daughter portraits, these ladies are beautiful.

Can I just take a minute and talk about father daughter first looks? These are so special. They are some of my favorite moments of the day.

Emma and Niko chose not to do a first look, but did want to take time to read letter they had written to each other and to pray. It was so sweet.

Yep, he got pretty emotional watching Emma walk down the aisle. But soon there were laughs and high fives.

This little lady was so cute!

Growing up in Central Florida, I am used to pastures filled with large moss draped oaks, towering pine trees, and fields of broomsedge. They decided to have their session at Lake Kississimmee State Park and I am so glad they did! We do not have many areas like this in South Florida, so I was so happy they chose this location. It reminds me of home, or at least what home used to be like, before all of the growth and development.

We could not have asked for better weather. My husband, and our girls along with his brother in law (Megan’s dad) tooled around the lake while I photographed their session. I could have shot for hours! These two were great! Check them out for your self!

Megan’s ring was her grandmother’s, so it has extra sentimentality.

The last few years have been exciting and heartbreaking for Dakoda’s family. Her grandmother (my husband’s aunt) recently lost her battle with cancer. It was a long and hard fight, much longer than they gave her. Dakoda, her mom and grandma were very close. It was evident that her not being there to celebrate with them was the one thing missing.

Congratulations Dakoda and Bailey! I am very happy for you both and pray for many years of health, happiness and love! Thank you for allowing me to be a witness to and capture your day. I am excited to see what comes next for you guys!

If you know me, you know I love College Football. I mean really love it! So it is not surprising that is commonly one of my first “let me get to know you” questions. Terry and Brandon are college football fans, and like my husband and myself, a house divided. I assured them their marriage will survive football season, although it can get a little tense at times. My husband and I are entering our 20th year of football season as a couple. Wow! So hard to believe! So, my advice to you guys (or any couple for that matter) is relish the wins when you get them because I assure you over the years you will win some and undoubtedly lose some. Through it all, just agree you both love football and look forward to the next season;)

Cooper was a lot of fun. He doesn’t really fetch and retrieve. He fetches, but you are not getting the ball back. Well, unless you give him another one to replace it, and he may try to hold both at the same time! He was very photogenic and very good for me while I was photographing him.

It was supposed to be a mild, if not cool, late February day. Well, it wasn’t cool to say the least! But that is how we roll here in Florida. But I will take hot sunshine over rain anyday, so we were blessed there. Kai Kai Farms is a quaint farm wedding venue in Indiantown. The long Eucalyptus lined gravel road was beautiful and offered us some well received shade and cool breezes.

I loved getting to know Charlotte and Dax. As a photographer, I have the distinct privilege of being a part of a family’s most special celebration. I get to know my clients, their families, and their love story. I have met so many amazing couples and am incredibly thankful they have allowed me to not only document it, but celebrate it with them.
