I understand where they got the inspiration for those iPod ads now… This is the last photo I’ll post from the album launch.

This is Cedric; one of the three guitar players in Garage Hymnal. Some very nice solos came from him.

I really didn’t change the colours of these Garage Hymnal photos. It’s pretty interesting how the camera responds to the concert lighting. I’m pretty sure this is not what my eyes saw, but the camera can only see so much light.

These lamp shades were decorating the hall for the Garage Hymnal launch. They weren’t shading any light, but they were doing a pretty good job of catching some light.

This is Alanna who sings in Garage Hymnal along with Steph and apparently likes a bit of glockenspiel as well.

As with the previous photo there are some crazy skin tones in this photo, but there’s also some echoing of the blue lights. I have no idea what caused that. It’s possible the light was bouncing on the UV filter I keep over the lens.

All of the musicians in Garage Hymnal are so talented, including the singers. This is Steph, one of the singers/glockenspiel players. Rock on! Or groove on, depending on what you’re playing at the time.

I’d never taken photos in concert lighting before. It was pretty difficult and I got some effects that I had never seen before and didn’t really know what to do with. There is a bit of weird toning on Steph’s skin, which could be overexposed I guess, but I’m not sure.

This was taken at the launch of Garage Hymnal’s self-titled album. I really like the album by the way. There seems to be a very mixed response to it (probably because it’s a bit different to the last two), but I think it’s cool.

This is the last one of Psycho Sam. He really blew that glove up quite large. It was kinda gross, but very entertaining.

I went down to Darling Harbour last month for Equip Women’s conference and while I was waiting for my friends I watched this guy. As far as we could tell he actually ate that thing.

Some bread rolls at dinner time on Twist Away. Don’t ya just love fresh bread rolls? Yum!
