Bushcare’s Major Day Out is an annual nation-wide event. The purpose of the website is to allow event organisers to register when and where bush care events are taking place and advertise that information, and extra details, to potential attendees and participants.

Some of the key goals that we have worked towards in the website include automation: automatic publishing of submitted events, sorting of event sites into states, and automatic archiving of previous year’s event pages. Also discoverability: attendees can find event locations near them in a number of ways, including tables sorted by state, and a map-based radius search.

The Artarmon Community Church website was terribly out of date, so it was a pleasure to modernise the logo and make a website much more useful to members and visitors. One of the new features of the website is a custom built sermon manager that uses a ‘featured audio’ upload (as well as the featured image) and WordPress’ relatively recent built-in audio player; there is also an iTunes-compatible podcast feed.

My Colombian Recipes is a bilingual (English/Spanish) recipe blog. It uses custom taxonomies to specify ingredients in recipes and fancy page templates to allow users to browse recipes by categories (meal type) or by ingredients.

Board Direction is a membership site that provides services for people looking for employment on company and organisation boards. Its features include a job directory, which accepts submissions from a publicly available form, board member profiles as custom posts in WordPress, seminar registrations, and members-only content.

The International Alliance of Racquet Technicians is a membership site that provides information, services, and a social environment for tennis (and other racquet sports) stringers around the world.

This site is a rather epic integration of membership subscriptions & members-only content, forums, databases and directories, photo galleries and more.

Marquette Turner is a site for international luxury real estate. This was a BIG project! It involved custom taxonomies for defining the features of properties (bedrooms, bathrooms etc), a custom search engine to search via those properties, and specialised “microsites” for individual properties when they require special attention.

This is the second design I’ve worked on for Lia… sometimes you just need a change!

It’s fresh, which really reflects what Lia is about… fresh food, being healthy, living well. After a long stint in the middle east (where Lia was before we launched this) you need a bit of fresh!
