And this guy has a great Bio too! He wrote his first song at age 7! He had formed a band by 6th Grade! He taught himself to play the guitar, drums, and piano! I know this is his first album, and his first release, but this guy has got everything going in his direction! I think we’re going to see the Comet machine of Jimmie Allen run up the charts and become a household name in the near future!

Now moving on to a prerelease copy of the song ‘Crush’ which I received. WOW – now that one really hits my Likey Likey Bone ! He gets a little edgy in this one and I like it! It reminds me a little of Lenny Kravitz! He has some real moments of brilliance in this song!

Overall, I would love to hear a little more of Jimmie’s energy sound like it was coming from deep within his soul. He has tapped into that with what I’ve heard so far, and I think it is his true energy!

So the first track I listen to is “In Plain Sight”.  He says this on the site before I listen to it: “Just had a bit of anger to vent so I let it out on the mic and so a song was born.”  So I’m not into the angry thing, but this was a great song!  I think I liked it because the tone wasn’t full of anger, and yet the words were real.  I got it … you know what I mean ?  I really got it.

So, I’m writing from just my perspective of course, BUT the reason I like Elusive’s music is that he is not dripping with emotion!  I can get on with the words and the beat, after all – when we listen to music, we gain a lot of meaning by how it touches something in our life, NOT necessarily by the artist having a meltdown on a microphone.  So this stuff is COOL!

Wait Wait – a rap LOVE SONG ?!?!  Really?   I love it!  It’s called “The Only One”.  You know – but just laying it straight out, you feel him.  While listening to this song, I found myself picturing it as part of a soundtrack to a movie.  For Real… like something to a movie like ‘Kill Bill’, or maybe to a Gangster movie where you always know there is a girl as the object of some mobster’s affection.  Dude – let’s talk Hollywood here…

Alright – I’m not going to review every single track Elusive has on his site – YOU do that!  Then as I always ask – let me know what you think!  I want to hear from all of you this time, no free giveaways, just my Love!  I have listened to them all, and the 3 tracks above are a good sample for you. 

Even if you don’t think you are a fan of rap, please do check out his website and some of his tracks.  You know what ?  This guy is putting himself and his world out there for us to experience, and quite frankly – I like it, and I think we may see more of him in the future!  In fact – his website states: THE FUTURE OF HIP HOP.  I like how the future looks.    www.elusivemusic.net

Okay, so now we have had a couple of months of M.J. drama – right ?  Blah, Blah, Blah!  Whether you are a personal fan of Michael Jackson, or not – everyone has to admit to the amazing creativity and talent that this man had!  Not to mention this man’s ability to bring people together.

In my opinion, Michael was one of the most MISunderstood people on earth.  In some ways, he understood that fact and in other ways he had no idea how to communicate that to the people around him.  So in good celebrity fashion – he did some things that were not so great in his personal life, he did a LOT of things that were VERY great in his professional life – and in the end this lost soul left his mark on this earth forever.

Today a preview came out of the movie about his last concert.  You have all heard about this movie by now “This Is It“.

When I received the new materials from her Marketing Manager via the KrpMag founder, I knew this was going to be good.  Perhaps it was my faith that it was going to be good, I mean after all – Kristine W – Right ?!  Did you know that she has MORE #1 dance hits than Janet Jackson AND Madonna ?  REALLY!  Have you realized that some of the best nights you’ve had groovin’ on the floor with your boys and your girls and your peeps, that you were workin’ it out to a Kristine W hit ?!  Do yourself a favor – Google her, check her out on YouTube, surf her site!

I am so shock about the news once I heard it on the telly that Michael Jackson pass away this morning (Thailand time). My heart goes out to his family. Rest in peace, you are a music icon and your music will be with us forever.

I found that her song is pretty cool and the dance step is quite naturally to her. She did it so good and better each day. This song is definitely hit all dance clubs.

Charice Pempengco is reportedly recording her U.S. debut album in the first quarter of 2009. It will be released under Warner Bros. Records and will be produced by her mentor, David Foster.

She has a power and good voice. Good luck girl.
