As I write everything from my personal experience, the strategies that I'm going to mention here are also tested by me and they have really turned out great with success. In this post, I'm going to list out some of the things that motivates a writer to write in a blog or website. if you're lacking interest in writing, make sure you follow these things and get motivated.

Traffic

Traffic is one of the major thing that motivates a writer to write. If your blog is getting huge amount of traffic then, there's a feeling or motivation from inside of you, which tells you to write even more because you feel that you'll be paid off for the work that you do. As I write things based on my personal experience, this is also one of my experience. When any of my post/ blog gets huge page views then I feel like writing even more stuffs in my blog, just like I'm writing this blog post.
Every new post is written on this blog based on the stats of the previous one.

Care from Readers

By the sub-heading, I want to say "sharing is caring". If your blog posts gets shared by your visitors and readers, you've a feeling inside you to write even more because they'll be viewed by your readers and loved by them. This leads to writing articles frequently and with good quality.
Talking of my personal experience in this sub-heading, my blog's posts are getting good shares from the social network. My posts are getting much shares and liked by my readers and that also motivates me to write a new post here on this blog.

Comments and Suggestions

Comments and Suggestions really motivate us to write. Suppose, you write an article on your blog and it got a good response with lots of comments and strong suggestions regarding the article. When you see the suggestions, you feel like they're caring for you and your blog and you won't like to disappoint them. So, you'll write great articles and often so than your readers get awesome stuffs regularly from you.

Now, lets come to the final point of this article and that's the questionnaires. Lets say you wrote an article about ways of making money online and your article got a good response. I might be wrong in this point but, in my opinion, choosing a subreddit with less subscribers is good that choosing a subreddit with hundreds of thousands of subscribers. There, you can have more chances of people viewing your articles and liking them. So, choose a subreddit with less users. It'll be better for you if you're new in Reddit.

Tell your friends about it

Its really easy to sign up in Reddit. It takes less than 1 minute to sign up. So, tell you friends about it and ask them to sign up in reddit. And after they're done, give them link of your post in reddit and request to give a thumb up. This will give you visitors and also upthumbs and you'll have more chances of coming in top.

So, these are some tips to use reddit in better way and get lots of traffic in your blog. I'm writing this from my personal experience. My One Piece blog gets 500+ visitors everyday from Reddit alone and in less than 20 days of starting that blog, it has already got 12,000 visitors from reddit. Its turning great for me.

Its been a long time that I've not written any article on KTM-Blogger. Today, after more than 1 week, I'm writing this post to give continuity to the Bounce rate episode. In this post, I'll be writing down the methods to reduce bounce rates of your website in a very easy way.

Write More

The obvious technique to lessen the bounce rates is just writing more. People won't mind viewing more than the Home Page if you've got more pages on the blog. This trick is sure to decrease the bounce rate and some people find it pain in the ass just to write more in the blog that they love.
Don't be like those lazies. If you want to reduce the bounce rates and be successful, don't forget to write more posts on your blog.

Link the posts

This trick also helps a lot when it comes to decrease the bounce rates. Bounce Rate is a percentage of visits on your blog that goes only one time.

From this, you can understand that when a person comes to your site and sees what you've written and leaves off without seeing other things, then the person has contributed to increase bounce rate. If your blog's article are viewed in much number by a single visitor then you're surely getting low bounce rates which is a awesome thing and that means that your blog/site is doing well.

How to check bounce rate?

Driving much traffic on the blog is one of the top wish of a blogger. We've already discussed that writing contents on the blog is also one of the main source of driving traffic here. For achieving this goal, most of the bloggers get confused on how often should they posts so that their remains valuable all the time. Today, in KTM-Blogger, I'm writing this post as a story of success, which a blogger will surely achieve if he/she doesn't gives up in the middle.

There are 3 stages of blogging in a blogger's life if he doesn't gives up in the middle.

The Early Stage

In the beginning/start we can say, it has to be mandatory that you post much articles on your blog because this is the time when you've the energy as you're new and you've got too many new things to share to the world. At this time, you're feeling like you're the one who is gonna be successful like the 6 figure income earners and you've got that potential in you. I was also like that when I was in the early stages of blogging. At this time you're not getting many hits on your blog but you're happy that by posting frequently, you're at least getting some people hanging around. At this time, you won't get much visitors in your blog. If you're in this phase, don't give up on getting less visitors. Its your time fr practice and you've to practice hard at this stage as practice makes a man perfect. When I was new in blogging, I used to post 3 articles in a day and my views per posts were like 15-20. Still, I was feeling great. In this phase, you request everybody you know on Facebook and Twitter to share your post because nobody knows on the net.

The Mid-Term
Now, the time gradually changes. Your blog is getting famous day by day. Slowly or rapidly, you're gaining much visitors than before. Now, you can get 30-50 visitors a day without posting and when you post it, it might increase to 100-150. Now, you've got 10-15 articles and a good response. You might feel like I'm successful now. So, you feel like decreasing your posting frequency. Now, you might post some 5-7 articles in a week. In my opinion, this is the best posting frequency. If you can give continuity to that frequency, things are going to change and your blog is going to be much better. In this time also, you request people to share your articles but things are somehow different this time. You've got some unknown people to share your articles and they're the so-called readers of your blog. At this time, your mind gets distracted in advertising in your blog and you try for some ad-services like Adsense, Chitika and many others. Some of you get accepted whereas others get disapproved this time. Sometimes, such situations will occur in this period that you feel like giving up. You won't get much visitors and also you're advertising dream gets in water. So, many bloggers feel like giving up on this stage but, instead of giving up, you should think of overcoming the failure and reaching towards your ultimate goal.
My blog is running in this period so, I've also distracted my mind in advertising my blog. I tried Adsense several times but it got disapproved all the time. I was making money from Chitika(not much but I was) but these days even I've got more clicks than before, my reports always show income $0.00 but I don't bother about that as things are going to change by now. I had also given up one time but after reading one article at Problogger, I felt like I can do it. So, I started writing again in this blog and now, I won't let the feeling of giving up arouse in my mind. I've now got last chance for re-submitting my application for Adsense and I'm in hood of promoting my blog and gaining much more traffic these days. Lets see what comes forward for me..

The Resting Time
Finally, you come to the resting time. You've spent years in your blogging career and you've gained too much knowledge and you're a problogger now. You can now create a super-site and write the best contents in the world and get famous in short time if you want. But, before this you've your old site and its running good now. You get at least 1000 visitors a day and have some 500-600 subscribers at least. now, you can get ads on your website and make money online which was your ultimate goal. Now, as you're a problogger, you've probably read tens of thousands of posts in your blogging years and have written hundreds of posts. Now, you can write a mind-blowing post in a little time and even you give less time to your blog, you write a hit. Now, you won't have to worry about your post's promotion. People come looking for your post and they're the one to share it and you won't have to tell anybody to do so.

Now, that's what I call a happy ending although its not the ending. Now, you've a much successful blog which you always wished to have. You've got the super contents which you always wished to write. You're got the rush of people people on your blog and thousands of subscribers which you always wished to have ad ultimately, you've made money from from your blog which was your ultimate goal.

But, for reaching this goal, see how much you'd to prepare. You'd to read hundreds of blogs subscribe to them and you'd to give almost 5-6 years for that.
Think about that. All I wanted to say is don't give up on your failure, learn from it. I've learnt this thing from my English teacher at school. If you give up now, you're never gonna rise up to that level which you'd always wished of. So, write more on your blog and try not to give up when you get in the worst situations. Sometimes, time might come that you won't get any visitors for many days and you think of giving up. But don't think about the failure of present, think about the success you'll get in the future if you don't give up now. That's all I wanted to say to you being a blogger.

When I see my situation, I find blog as a school. For me going to school and going to my blog are almost similar and I find out blog as a school. Below are few points which resembles a blog as a school.

Admission of the Blog
From the heading, you might not be clear to what I'm saying. By the word admission, which is mostly used in school, I mean registration of blogs in different platforms like Blogger, Wordpress. If you're willing for a .com domain you have to pay some bugs for admitting your blog and from here your blogging life starts.

Internet
I will like to relate Internet as the school bag and uniform which is must for the school. You are not going to school unless you have a bag to carry off your loads. Same way, without internet you won't be able to go to your blog. It is the must for admitting yourself to.blogging because without internet, you can't do anything.

Other famous blogs
I would like to relate them with the text books which we have to read when we're preparing ourselves for school and exams. Here in blogging, I would like to.prefer the Professional Blogger's blogs as the text books of the school as they are the primary and most important source from where we learn blogging.

Posts and contents
I would like to relate then with the exams that we have in the school but here in Blogging, we have lots of exams as we have to write frequently. The more we read our texts and notes, the better we score. Here also, the more we read plfrom the professional blogs, the more quality contents we can write and the more marks we can score.

Blogging Success/Failure
Finally and ultimately, I will like to relate then with the grades that we get from our exams. The grades that you get are up to how much you've learnt in your study time and the more the reference you search and look for, the more you get. This might be the starting of your success or your failure. Those who fail here, they don't dare to try once again but in my view, it wontl't cost you anything to try again. So don't try to cheat yourselves y being the lazy ones who don't try for second time ir become a copy blogger( who copies others contents and shows then in own blog). Hello Everyone,
Its been a longtime since I've not posted any contents on this blog. The reason is that I forgot the password and was trying to recover. Now, due to Google's help, I've been able to recover my password and run this blog again.
Seeing my blog's Dashboard, I found out that the blog's getting a good response even though I've not posted anything. The blog's getting more than 50 visitors everyday. That's really a nice response from you people and I would like to thank all of your for your help. However, the Adsense has been Disabled now which is a bad news since it was my only source of income from this blog. But that doesn't matters.

Rules for writing Guest Posts

My 5 guest blogging rules are Research, Writing, Proofreading, Submitting and Interaction and I’ll be explaining them below.

Research: When getting ready to guest blog the first thing I do is research. And when I refer to research I’m not just talking about researching the post idea or anything of that nature – but researching the blog itself to be familiar with it so I can get my first submission published. I know my first efforts didn’t get me published on most big blogs and that is exactly why I formed this rule. Effectively researching before submitting your guest post makes it easy for you to understand how a blog works, who is the key person behind the blog, what kind of content is allowed, and what you must do to easily get published on the blog. For example, if I’m just trying to get published on a big blog for the first time I will take a look at the last 30 posts published on the blog (both by the blog author and guest bloggers), because that will give me an idea of what is accepted and published there. I’ll also read the most recent guest posts to have a better idea of what is common among the guest bloggers. For example, I see writing completely different, specific and unique posts works best on SmartPassiveIncome. Highly informative list posts work well on DailyBlogTips. And looking for new ways to effectively present your ideas work well onProblogger. By researching, I have also noticed that DailyBlogTips don’t accept SEO’d anchor texts, and Problogger has no problems with links within the content of your guest posts, as long as your links are highly relevant. Every blog host is different. They have different rules and beliefs and you have to understand that before trying to write for their blogs.
Writing: I try to research effectively when it comes to my writing. I also do my best to ensure my guest post is unique, detailed and informative. This is not because I am specific about the length but because I try to do my best to make my content as detailed, informative, practical and as presentable as possible. Another thing I have noticed is that the more unique and informative my guest post is, the more results I get from it.
Proofreading: I always fail whenever I try to submit a guest post to a blog without proofreading it. What this shows is that my writing isn’t perfect – none of us are. Proofreading your guest posts makes them as clear and as presentable as possible – thus making them easy for your host to read. I have published guest posts on this blog just because of how effective and clear the grammar is, and I’m sure a lot of bloggers will do the same. I often take more time proofreading my guest posts than writing them because the secret lies in proofreading. Your guest post is never complete without you proofreading it.
Submitting: This is one of the most crucial aspects of guest blogging. Some people believe in pitching before writing but I believe in writing before pitching and it has always helped me. So many bloggers prefer it too because it is a time saver. If you tell me you have a guest post for me and I tell you to go ahead and write it, you will be more disappointed if I don’t accept it. But if you send the post along with your first query email I can easily give it a quick scan to see if it is right for my blog or not. It is also important that you do your best to make sure you’re as polite as possible in your email. Bloggers hate rude guest bloggers so they won’t even bother replying you if you’re rude. Just to give you an idea of which kind of email works I will be attaching two of the emails I have sent to bloggers below.
Interaction: I know some of you who are familiar with my guest posts on Problogger and DailyBlogTips will say I don’t interact in the comments section. This isn’t because I don’t want to, but because my IP has been blacklisted by Akismet and these blogs get a lot of spam comments every day. It will be very difficult for me to constantly disturb the bloggers to fish out my comments from their spam section. Otherwise, I always interact in the comment section of my guest posts because a lot of my readers told me that’s how they found me. It is a good thing to get your guest post published, but interacting in the comments section of the blog that published your guest post is really important because it tells the readers of that blog you really care and are not just there for the link or the traffic.

It’s that simple, the above are my five rules for successful guest blogging.

How to Find Blogs

Depending on how you want your guest blogging to be, finding blogs can be a pain in the ass but it should be a little bit easier by the time you finish reading this blog post.

Technorati: One of the best ways to find the top blogs in your niche is by making use of the technorati blog directory. Even though this isn’t a great way to find smaller blogs, it is one of the most effective ways to discover the big blogs in your niche (should you decide to start guest blogging on big blogs).
Alltop: This is also one of the best blogging directories. Alltop is a site which displays links to the latest posts on some of the best blogs online. This directory has links to blogs in almost every niche. It also has links to thousands of blogs, and it doesn’t just accept any blog (so you can be sure of finding only authority sites there).
Google Blog Search: Another great way to find the top blogs in your niche is by making use of the Google Blog Search Engine. All you need to do is type the name of your niche (considering the fact that this search engine only indexes blogs, you will find it easy to discover blogs in your niche). Once you’ve found a list of some top blogs you can then check to see if they have a guest posting page. If they don’t, you can get in touch with the blogger to ask if they accept guest posts.
MyBlogGuest: There are a lot of blogging communities and I prefer quality over numbers. MyBlogGuest is the best guest blogging community EVER (in my honest opinion) and what makes it even better is that it isn’t just one small quality blogging directory but a great blogging community with over 10,000 members. It also has a lot of features that almost automates guest blogging. It doesn’t matter what niche you’re in, my blog guest is right for you!
Search Engines: It could be Google, Yahoo or Bing, it doesn’t matter which one it is, search engines are one of the best ways to find targeted blogs in your niche. All you have to do is use some search engine operators and some common guest blogging key phrases to find blogs accepting guest posts, below are some examples (make sure you replace “your niche” with your main niche):

How to Develop Content

A lot of people call me a content machine whenever they hear that I wrote over 300 guest posts in 2010 alone. Even though almost all of my ideas come naturally I also have resources I use whenever I’m stuck and I will be giving you some of those resources below.

Top Blogs in Your Niche: Whenever I’m stuck of ideas on what to write for both my blog and my guest posts what I do is visit some of my top blogs (especially Copyblogger, Viperchill,Problogger and SmartPassiveIncome), I’ll then visit the sidebar of these blogs to see which posts are the most popular. I’ll also read some of their recent posts. These actions give me enough ideas to write at least 10 quality guest posts.
Yahoo Answers: This is something I started using recently and it is one of the most effective tools for generating blog post ideas. Why? Because it is full of questions people want answered. Search effectively through it you will be able to note a common question asked by users there. You can even copy the question directly as a blog post title and then answer it as a blog post. In most cases the people (asking the questions) would have tried search engines but might not have found the answer to their questions. Your blog post will be one a lot of people want to read. It would also increase the chances of your blog/guest post getting more traffic on the long run.
Social Media: Another effective way to get more blog post ideas is by being alert on Facebook, Twitter, Delicious, Stumbleupon and some of your favorite social media sites to read the latest posts shared by users there.
Blog Comments: You can also get blog post ideas by taking a look at the comments section of your favorite blogs to see what questions are being asked the most on the latest posts. This will also give you ideas on what to write about.
Forums: If you’re subscribed to one or two top forums in your niche, that is also another potential content generation hub for you. All you need to do is look through some of the most recent threads to see what people really want to know more about. Use this to come up with blog posts and you’ll have created answers to the problems a lot of people have.

There are countless ways to generate blog post ideas but the above are some of the most effective ways. By making use of them you will have enough tools, resources and ideas to generate thousands of blog posts.
