Schools in Geneva are getting Animated with Kudlian Soft

Students in over 90 schools in the Canton de Vaud, Switzerland, are getting creative with Stop Frame Animation after Kudlian Software won the order to supply them with their Award Winning software, ‘I Can Animate’™.

Schools are being encouraged to showcase and share their work by sending DVD's of their finished animations to Phillippe Linder, Teaching Collaborator.

iLife '08 - Kudlian Expansion Packs

Apple Inc. have recently released an update to the iLife suite of software tools, which included a new version of iMovie, iMovie version 7.

Instead of a cosmetic make-over, iMovie has been completely redesigned from the ground up.

This has meant that the Kudlian Soft expansion packs, which include a plug-in for iMovie, do not work with the new iMovie (version 7) that is shipping with iLife '08.

DataLog - fantastic new datalogging software

'U' Direct - Guyver Animation Film

Kudlian Soft, Stikfas & ADV Films are thrilled to announce an animation competition for the launch of Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor.
The Guyver has been a cult-classic for over 20 years, but only now is the full story of high school hero Sho and the Guyver suit given new life!

The competition launches at the May London Expo, May 26th, and will conclude at the Halloween London Expo, October 27th, with the overall winners presented with their awards. Winners will be announced via Bebo every six weeks for three six-week periods.

A winner will be picked in each category, to receive combo prize packs worth over £100 from ADV Films, Stikfas, I Can Animate, and Stop Motion Pro Junior. The categories are:

a) 13-15 years old; b) 15-17 years old; c) 18 up.

In addition, one of these three will be chosen as the overall winner for that six-week period. All three overall winners will be brought to the October London Expo to be presented with awards.

New Stikfas Band - Animate and Create Your Own Music

The Stikers band, ideal for use with stop frame animation. (Contain small parts, Ages 8+)

At around 75mm (approx.) this has to be the group to create with. Their articulated joints mean that they can be moved in all directions. Create your music track and then animate your band.

Use blue tack or plastacene on their feet to stick them firmly to the surface and start animating.

Parts are interchangeable and you can even paint them using either enamel or acrylic paints.

Save time with the new Media Browser for Mac OS X, display all your photos, images, movies and music on your Macintosh. It can also be configured to search for media in other folders, is now available.

The media files can be drag and dropped into any application that supports the given file type. This makes it ideal for use in applications that do not have their own support for browsing the media on your Macintosh.
The Media Browser is a floating window which means that it is always visible until you close it. This makes it much easier to use for adding files into your documents.
