For us sacred human beings, modern life is such a demand rushing, instant everything (instant coffee, instant dinners) we demand instant everything, because we are being demanded upon to perform endlessly and instantly. Yet to feel relaxed more often requires bit of study, self study to find out what factors actually contribute to relaxation. Please do not illusion that, having a good looking car, or a nice castle or a bank balance which is abundant is going to give you relaxation (please do not misunderstand me because having some or all of the above maybe useful and helpful to you) But they will not serve you relaxation on a plate. This is because it’s an inner quest, it’s a feeling we have the capacity to trigger. You cannot go to the supermarket and trade your relaxation for a bottle of milk or bread; therefore it is not a material (physical to touch) thing. Yet it is of great quality to obtain and feel.

Relaxation is a subconscious event. (Period)

It’s your subconscious serving you the feeling which you receive; it cannot be forced or demanded at will. Therefore let’s look at the workings of it, and also physical conditions which will allow the feelings to arise. Please do understand that, (yes physical actions will help to trigger the subconscious levels to arise the self fulfilling relaxation)

The desire to feel relaxed is a must (which is a conscious event) also understanding how to enjoy life, to enjoy means to relax as well, to lead a life of happiness, overcoming challenges with reason, to know the self feelings with respect and loving kindness, those who enjoy the journey called life and put their head above negativity will certainly see the new experiences in a new light and enthusiasm.

We need to look for today’s new opportunities and turn our backs to passed (unless the passed visions is of beauty innocence love strength and courage). Person who enjoys life knows that no human is without fault, and does not resent or judge self or judge others (simply lives and learns always trying to expand and better self) as the verdict in his/her kingdom called thinking is always FREE to relax, to love and feel loved. Because being free of hurts free of negative unwelcome emotions, free of anger and resentment, looking for what’s right instead of what’s wrong, seeing the accomplishments of self (even others, with kindness) seeing the strength of self (even seeing the weakness of reason at times as strength, as in; desiring to be stronger) is necessary conditions to arise the feeling called relaxation.

How about the feelings called leisure? Yes, to relax is to also search leisure and take time out for self (not in a selfish way, yet in a deserving way, for your heart surely deserves) do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Seek leisure at times (let me give you one of my personal choice) as simply as this may sound, I find great leisure to watch a candles flame dance (it’s magical, just try it, get a candle, turn the lights off, and you’ll see). Taking time out for leisure is well, this is smart, to know when we over demand from physical and emotional self, to allow time to play is called leisure.

Because at times of overwhelm simply realize you are this thing called a human being, and we can only give our time (give our best to life) and at times must say “hey life has gotten much from me today, let me allow bit of time for ME” this way your search to find out who you really are and what makes you feel sacred is realized, thus giving opportunity for feeling relaxation. Do not obsess with what must be done when you know you have done your best, or even if you are unsure if you have given your best or not. Give some of your precious time to yourself (as I promise you no one else will ever do this for you), to re energize re focus re center. Re You

Relaxation means to take time out as well, time for self, child, young and wise as you are deserving. Let go of your tensions, find adventure within life and its ups and downs, and do not be unkind to yourself. Find ways and allow time for self to relax. Make a habit of it, do not search for it as it is already within you to be discovered (remember the times when you felt free and relaxed without a worry in the world, build on these past experiences, knowing that you can again and again and again feel the beauty called relaxation)

And from then on, looking at life from a relaxed point of view will allow you to feel happier (in a way will allow you to look at things from a higher level, “perhaps like an eagle, simply letting the air do all the work, with its wings wide open, gliding. To receive the breath of life is called living “just like gliding of an eagle” to understand and know things can be imagined to higher understanding point of view, because the view is always different up there. The view is definitely different up there. The up there is in you, its up in the depths of your heart, waiting for you to be loving kind for the most deserving being = YOU

As these are one of the few ways we attend, rather connect with life. Although it is very important to attend physical health, it is also important to attend spiritual side of our hearts to give meaning to life, and its sacredness.

Thankfulness Exercise

I as a spiritual mentor at times suggest an exercise, and exercise which I feel has unparalleled benefits, as it is proven to me personally. Because I know how easy it is to forget to take that time for our hearts, to take notice and realize, how grateful we really are, despite the outside circumstances we can energize our hearts, and connect with all.
This simple five minute exercise is called, thankfulness session. And it only requires about five minutes, also it is so easy to attend, yet the benefits will be seen immediately. As the name suggests, it is simple thankfulness, anything you can think of, which arouses thankfulness feelings. As in; I am so thankful that I am alive, I am so thankful that I am able to feel love, I am so thankful for people around me, I am so thankful for the diversity of life, which teaches me, me. I am so thankful that I have loving nurturing parents, who even though I kept them up late at night while a baby, loved me unconditionally. I am so thankful for my family, for nurturing me, I am so thankful for all those special souls who have given me seeds of reason to plant and grow wisdom. I am so thankful that you are reading this, thus allowing me to share my heart.

These are just a few, which I am certain you will add so many more. And it only takes about five minutes, just do it, and then you’ll see. Also obviously what is very important is not to just say these “thank you”, rather to feel it. Allowing the feeling to arise to a degree that you feel it. As busy as life’s demands are on us, we require a time out for our human ness. As we study more and more, we realize much is a choice, as in, we can choose what to direct our focus on. Therefore allowing five minutes each day, will really let us feel the presence with acceptance, knowing that we are accepted, just the way we are, a profound way of being, we can choose to be thankful. We all have our methods of attending our spiritual side. And just like a river which has many branches, leads all to the same lake. A lake of calmness, meaning and purpose. And at times it is unexplainable in mere words, yet nature and all that we feel and experience is somewhat allows us to be, as if all is assembled in that precise moment just for us to feel that humanness. And what better way to show appreciation, with a heartfelt. THANK YOU.

Once you know this through direct experience and realization, then everything in the outside world will be embraced and looked upon with a different and wider view perception. A sense of purity that is priceless, it is not for sale, nor can you find it in any matter but within. No teacher can go one step for his or her disciple, in themselves they must experience truth and enlightenment, spiritual teachers are only a light on the road that at times seem dark and blurry filled with doubts or fears. When one exerts effort to attend and realize purity of own heart, then you will know, all the doubts and fears are simple illusions and has no basis in actually absolute reality. Because in the depths of your heart there is this being, this feeling called you, ever waiting for your intellect and reason to find it, it waits quietly patiently, guiding you whispering silent yet inviting whispers for you to come home, come to your essence, come back to who you really are. Eternal spirit that is molded by and with purity. And that is YOU.

When we attend our hearts then this experience will flow onto our interactions with the outside world. And we can all agree that when we attend life with love and kindness this is well for each and every one of us.

When we as spiritual beings talk about absolute, then surely we need to remember that, only spiritual truth is the absolute reality, and the rest is just thoughts that change and expand.
