I just thought I wanna make up for all the posts I've been wanting to write . So, after reading some blogs I get so envious that I wanna write,because I'm so lazy...I felt that now is the time I should posts them..

OK! So I decided to make a review for these babies the Clarins Total Body Lift and Talika eyelash conditioning Gel.

My hubby bought them for me online,from a japanese online shop. They are much cheaper than buying it at the depato.

As I can remember it was late february 2008.

The Clarins--yes,it worked for me,after using it for about a month on my upper thighs..then after that I get lazy..so it's still here now maybe I'll be using it again before summer comes.

The Talika eyelash gel--I love love love it. it made my lashes stronger en longer. I use it twice a day,and I still haven't finished the tube. I'm planning to get a new one soon,b'coz I was using it for about 9 months already. and I'm afraid I MIGHT get irritated or allergy to it.

Or I might try other brands too..I've heard so many out there, But this time,if ever...I want to try the cheaper ones. LIke the one from CANMAKE. They are cheap,so I hope they work,I 'll still be waiting for the review,of a girl I saw on Youtube. I forgot her name. She said. after 1 month of using that,she'll make a review of the product. So, crossfingers for that! I like that, I could easily buy them here.

I hope you can see the silver prints in Talika(liposils) is already fading.

These are my first MAC Cosmetics Items bought Sept. 2007 and after,reading a lot of raves about it. I decided to get myself that Blacktrack fluidline, #266 brush. And I didn't regret it. My hubby really liked it on me.. so after that. I have not bought any black eyeliner anymore (that's a lie, I still get tempted sometimes,but end up not using them hihi!)I'm thinking of getting the brown one,'coz sometimes I get so lazy to apply the black( I still make mistake,so when I erase it because it's black it sometimes leaves a trace.. you know what i'm talking about..if you're like me) ..specially when I'm in a hurry, so I just grab my liquid lasting (brown )eyeliner by kanebo ,. But it's a little bit too light although I like it for a more natural look.
But that Mac shadestick in Beige-ing I can't seem to find a good use for it. any recommendations? I know for some use it for what it is..but..it's a little hard..it doesn't swipe smoothly...and the best primer for me is really the UDPP.

These are my Mac brushes, bought them as a birthday present for myself. I bought them online at Maccosmetics.com through myus.com ..Because Mac here are super super expensive,like double of it's price.. something like that!

I know..it's been so long that I haven't been here. I have been so busy and LAZY for awhile...really really wanted to write everything,but while I kept on thinking everything that I should write then in the end I already get tired. hehe!

ok! anyway. Yesterday, when my hubby got home from work, he surprised me with these! tadaaah!

I was so happy and jumping and singing...tralala....I wanted to read all of them at the same time! wish I could........I wanted these books for so long, I haven't had any luck where I searched for them. ( I know I could order it online..but I wanted to buy them personally) Even on those bookshops at Bangkok DutyFree,I just ended up buying 2 books by Camilla Morton(and some Archies! shhhhh... yes! I still read them and have been collecting some),they are also fun to read.

I have heard a lot about these books written by Robert T. Kiyosaki. They are Guides to investing and the likes ...They are easy to understand. (and yeah! that's right,I have already read some pages of it last night)Won't give you headaches!!!

Guide to Investing (What the Rich Invest In,that the Poor and Middle Class Do Not!)

Even my hubby have these books,early this year. Then the time I was telling him about this books, he told me,he has already read them. I was so jealous!!! And I searched our mini library,and there! I saw his Japanese versions of this book. He even have 2 copies of the Rich Dad,Poor Dad. (yes! sometimes he forgets he has already read a particular book,he loves books as much as I do. Reads too fast,finishes too fast. He already have 2 copies each of 4 books he have here..hmmm) look! These are his Robert T. Kiyosaki 's,at the left are 2 copies of Rich Dad,Poor Dad! haha!

I don't have the Cashflow Quadrant,I think they got out-of-stock. I hope I could get them soooooner....

Today my hubby had a meeting with the doctor in Tokyo,the one who sent us Oseibo the other day.
The one at the left side, are the omiyage that my hubby brought for me. A baumkuchen,black sesame seed flavoured prin(japanese custard),and A Tokyo banana. I don't know yet how that banana taste,but it sure is delicious,because it is said to be famous.
The one on the right side, are 3 boxes of instant Gomoku Kamameshi. That my father-inlaw gave to us.
Kamameshi (釜飯) is a traditional Japanese rice dish cooked in an iron pot with various kinds of meat, seafood, and vegetables.
Just mix it on the rice while cooking and you'll have your kamameshi,no fuzz cutting vege and meats anymore.

I receive this oseibo (christmas gift) last monday.
Sent by my hubby's friend, A Doctor in Tokyo.
They are different kinds of cookies.
I even ate those 5 pcs. below within 5 mins. hahaha!!
Tastes perfect!!!
And when my hubby saw the remaining, he asked if I ate them. I said "yes" . Then he told me "hahahaha!!! metabolic!!!!" it's just a joke here at home. It means -you'll get really fat,and your tummy will get bigger...

Traffic inside the Car

Look at this traffic! haha..... I don't know what happened with my hubby, It's just one time, he arrived home, and kept on telling me to look at his car. (This are free from canned coffee,he said he bought them just to complete that space)

Then when I saw them, I kept on laughing. It's not like him , I remembered our last car, which we used for only about 2years, he doesn't want to put anything there. And now,this car is only a week old. I was shocked!

And to think that I was also busy,on doing the air dry clay miniatures these past days....I told him, "what's happening to us???" haha..and we really laughed hard.

And I thought of 'was it because we don't have any children yet?' maybe......

Omiyage from Osaka

Those little jars are different kinds of honey from the shop C's Garden http://www.csgarden.net/. And oh they also sell this kind of bread,that's so soft and they said it was made out of natural yeast. Haven't had shot of it,'coz it was only given,and cut in halved. My husband told me,they are also putting this shop on their planned Medical Mall.
I can't wait,haha!!! it means I can get it anytime i like. Oh,my sis-inlaw also liked that bread.
We gave her,half of the half . So she kept on bugging my hubby like 'how much is it?' 'why didn't you buy?' 'ur so cheap...' haha!!!
And that other one,is a typical Japanese sweets. I don't know the exact name,I always can't remember that. But if you see one of that,you better have a taste. It's really different!! it taste great!_!

Spiderman

Spiderman plush cushion, pen and Elmo multi - colored pen was an omiyage given to me by my sweet sweet sister in-law.

She just had a short vacation in Osaka ( again!! ) and bought these at The Universal Studio Japan http://www.usj.co.jp/index.html?home.

She really loves going there. I wanna ask her why, but I get too shy, asking things. Well , it's because they really don't ask things . .. it's not that they are taking things forgranted , but it's part of how they show respect to someone they really respect .

So, I learned to keep my mouth shut. .. . except for the things I should really ask , like recipes , how to do this and that.

That's one thing I like here, people don't ask too much. Well, that's what I observe with my family here, and also what my husband told me, so far..

Ofcourse there are also what you call, one that talks too much. Like my teacher, she asks many things. but it's ok, I got used to her. haha!

Every Part of this world has them , you know what I'm talking about..wukakak!!.

You Just have to learn how to deal with them, and everything would be fine !_! right?_?

Oden machine

Hello everybody....gosh! I miss the blog world". ." I hope everybody's doin' fine. been really really busy with my work lately,got a new load and an increase. yey!!! but also gave me a lot of headache,it's what I always get when my eyes get tired. .huhuhu......

Anyway,let's get back to this Oden Vending Machine. First,an

Oden (おでん) is a Japanese winter dish consisting of several ingredients such as boiled eggs, daikon radish, konnyaku, and processed fish cakes stewed in a light, soy-flavoured dashi broth. Ingredients vary according to region and between each household. Karashi (Japanese mustard) is often used as a condiment.
Oden was originally what is now commonly called misodengaku or simply dengaku; konnyaku or tofu was boiled and one ate them with miso. Later, instead of using miso, ingredients were cooked in dashi and oden became popular.
Unlike most one pot dishes, ingredients can be added at any time. Oden is often sold from food carts, and most Japanese convenience stores have simmering oden pots in winter. Many different kinds of oden are sold, with single-ingredient varieties as cheap as 50 yen.

Then just this year,if I'm right I saw this vending machines in the news. I got really excited to see real ones...so last saturday,me and my hubby,while having a walk down the city.....He saw that..

So that's how we got that..oh,and the ODENS are those in the can (or canned ones).

Next time I would post Homemade oden pictures,so everybody would also see how they really look like. I just hope we had taken a closer pic on that can...hehe..

Instant noodle ranking

This noodle ranking was held in Hongkong, for this tv program Ranking Paradise. The one that got the 1st rank is Japanese instant noodle.
This 2nd is a chinese instant noodle.
This 3rd is a Korean instant noodle.
This 4th is another version of the one that ranked 1st,but it's not available here in Japan. As you can see, they have 25 varieties of this kind there in Hongkong. Wow!

Japanese chestnut

Kurikinton is what I recieve for today as an omiyage. Kurikinton's main ingredient is Japanese chestnut (Japanese Chestnut (Castanea crenata) is a species of chestnut originally native to Japan and South Korea. It is a small to medium-sized deciduos tree growing to 10-15 m tall. The leaves are similar to those of the Sweet Chestnut, though usually a little smaller, 8-19 cm long and 3-5 cm broad. The flowers of both sexes are borne in 7-20 cm long, upright catkins, the male flowers in the upper part and female flowers in the lower part. They appear in summer, and by autumn, the female flowers develop into spiny cupules containing 3-7 brownish nuts that are shed during October.It is an important tree in Japan for its heavy production of sweet, edible nuts).

Kurinkinton is made of mashed Japanese chestnuts,sweet potato(satsuma-imo),sugar,and mirin.

I love this so much,specially the rolled type ones,which you will have to slice before eating.... oh! and excuse me if it's lacking,couldn't wait to have a bite. haha!

An Omiyage my hubby brought for me last friday. From Takayama a Maple bread and a jar of Blueberry Honey for mixing on plain yogurt or for baking cakes.
These are Omiyage brought for us by my sister in-law, from Okinawa. A pair of cellphone straps,and a pair of Shisa. An eyeglass case for me and a book cover and bookmarker for my hubby. Here's a description of a shisa =Shisa or Shiisaa (シーサー) (Okinawan: siisaa) is a traditional Ryukyuan decoration, often found in pairs, resembling a cross between a lion and a dog. Many people put a pair of Shisa on their rooftops or flanking the gates to their houses. Shisa are wards, believed to protect from various evils. When found in pairs, the shisa on the right traditionally has an open mouth, and the one on the left, a closed mouth . The open mouth to let good spirits in, and the closed mouth to keep bad spirits out.
Originally pairs like this were called "shisa and guardian dogs": the left with its mouth closed is the guardian, the right with its mouth open is the shisa . Some people believe that one is male and the other, female, and provide various justifications for which is which; for example, "the female has her mouth shut as she should" or "the male has his mouth shut to hold in all the family's good fortune". (Compare this to the distinction between male and female guardian lions in Chinese culture.)
The shisa, like the koma-inu (lion dogs), is a variation of the guardian lions ("fu dogs") from China .

The Pokémon Growlithe and its evolution Arcanine are based on the shisa.
The Digimon Seasarmon is based on a shisa, along with Chatsuramon.
Yoshiyuki Saito, a Japanese professional wrestler hailing from Okinawa, uses the mask and gimmick Super Shisa. He also has a young protegé named Shisa Boy and once formed a team with King Shisa (Pentagon Black).
Megaman ZX Advent have two Shisa based Pseudoroids, Argoyle and Urgoyle, They work as a pair when fighting and become a playable form after being defeated.

And these is called Chinsukou (ちんすこう, Chinsukō?) is a traditional sweet often sold as a souvenir (miyagegashi) on Okinawa, Japan. It is a small biscuit made of mostly lard and flour, with a mild and sweet flavor. Chinsuko was introduced to okinawa some 400 years ago from China. It originated from the word Chinrusko and changed to Chinsuko.

The one on the left side is called the salted taste version, and from thi right is the milk version. I love love love the salted version. Has anyone tasted/tried them yet? did you like them?

Chibi Maruko chan

She's 1 of my favorite character since I got here. Being isolated (haha! )without cable. No choice but to watch regular tv programming here in Japan. Well, the advantages I got was, I learned japanese faster.The right intonations,and how to use the right words. I learned about their culture and traditions,little by little in a natural way.

Watching Chibi Maruko chan every sunday from 6 to 6:30 pm every sunday on channel 1[tokai channel. Followed by Sazae-san(another comedy anime)] I realized that its nice for kids to watch it. considering it always has a good moral lesson.

The picture above is a mixed vegetable and fruit juice made by kagome ( a popular brand in Japan). Every 2 weeks,we buy a case of this containig 12 bottles. The latest we bought had this
coupons that you have to open and if you're lucky you could win free items from Chibi Maruko chan. So what my hubby did was (knowing I love this character so much)he opened all the stickers. But didn't even won one. Well,there's always next time...haha!

And this image down here, was a compilation of Chibi Maruko chan cut from a newspaper. Which my sister in-law gives me every time we meet. It's so sweet of her doing things like this for me. Oh! and I didn't ask,so I got really surprised she did this.That folder was also from her. You can see that's Chibi Maruko in the center with her family and friends on the side. Anime voice ranking?!

Last night while watching tv,I passed by this channel (sorry I forgot) doing a ranking on Anime voices ( I don't even understand why they do that. haha! well, on second thougtht maybe because on how well they do their job (giving a voice)matching the character). It caught my attention, and was thinking some of you might get interested too. So, I took some shots to share what I saw. The voices behind each characters, others don't want to show who they really are. For some reasons like, they're afraid they might ruin the image of the character on individuals,specially kids. Because kids,believes that the characters are really the one who's doing the talking. That's why some of the shots here are just drawing,or picture,others didn't really show up.

As what I had p romised from my previous post, here are some omiyage images I got just months ago, that my hubby brought me.
The first image is a hand-made Japanese sandal and a comb. I wear them on summer days, it's just a little noisy. I don't care!! haha! as long as I feel good wearing them. right?

2nd image is a Japanese fan w/ goldfish prints(with a soft case) and socks.

This 3rd image was when he played golf with the company's president and son. Fresh milk from Hirugano Kogen. It tasted a little like coconut milk.

' twas really thoughtful of him,bringing me this kinds of omiyage. I get surprised sometimes.

There was also this time,he brougth me lacoste pique polos,and Tommy Hilfiger shirts. So sweet! I know they ar e just little things, they don't cost much, but it's the thought that counts,right?

3 Omiyage for Today! yehey!!

My hubby brought me, these 3 omiyage's from 3 different people.

First image below was from the President's (company) son. A Baumkuchen bought in Nagoya. Known as the "King of Cakes" the Baumkuchen is a kind of layered cake, known in many countries throughout Europe. When cut, the cake reveals the characteristic golden rings that give it its name, Baumkuchen or translated literally, "Tree Cake". To get the ring effect, a thin layer of batter is brushed evenly onto a spit and allowed to bake until golden. The most skilled baker will repeat this process numerous times. Some bakers have been known to create 3 foot long Baumkuchens consisting of 25 layers and weighing over 100 pounds (45 kg).
Baumkuchen may be covered with sugar or chocolate glaze.
The cake requires some level of skill to bake and can get messy if made in the traditional way (on a spit); however, modified recipes using pans do exist.
It is highly disputed who made the first Baumkuchen and where it was first baked. Traditionally the town of Salzwedel and the Master Baker for the Prussian King have been associated with its creation in the year 1790.
Nowadays Baumkuchen is one of the most popular pastries in Japan (where it is called バウムクーヘン baumukūhen) and is available in any grocery shop.
Baumkuchen (called Baamkuch) has also become a traditional dish in Luxembourg, where it is served mostly on special occasions like weddings.
A quite interesting version of Baumkuchen is Lithuanian šakotis, which is distinctive by its shape.
A related cake is the Swedish Spettekaka (turnspit cake).

And this is from my Father in-law, he just came back from a short vacation in Osaka. A Daikon Tsukemono ( pickled japanese radish)----Tsukemono (漬物) ("pickled things") are Japanese pickles. They are served with rice, and sometimes with beverages.
The most common kinds are pickled in salt or brine. Soy sauce, miso, vinegar, rice bran (nuka), and sake lees are also useful for pickling.
Daikon, ume, turnips, Chinese cabbage (hakusai), and cucumbers are among the favorites.
Traditionally, the Japanese prepared tsukemono themselves with a tsukemonoki. Pickling was one of the fundamental ways to preserve food. Nowadays, tsukemono can be bought readily in the supermarket, but many Japanese still make their own. Typically, all that's needed to make pickles is a container with the food to be pickled, salt, and pressure on top of the pickles.
A tsukemonoki (漬物器, literally: vessel for pickled things) is a Japanese pickle press. The pressure was generated using heavy stones called tsukemonoishi (漬物石, literally: stone for pickled things) with a weight of 1 to 2 kilograms, sometimes more. This type is still in use, with the container being plastics, wood, glass or ceramics. Before tsukemonoishi came into use, the pressure was applied by driving a wedge between a handle of the vessel and its cover.
The weights are either stone or metal, with a convenient handle on top and often covered with a layer of food-neutral plastic. Another modern type of pickle press is usually made from plastic, and the necessary pressure is generated by turning a screw and clamping down onto the pickles.

And the one from the right in a green box,is a Kuzu Mochi (small arrowroot cakes) they look so yummy! can't wait to have a taste!!

The Omiyage he brought me,last tuesday from Tokyo.
Bagels from the famous Junoesque cafe/shop. If you go to their homepage http://www.junoesque.jp/ you'll see the lists of their shops, you'll see more images there. They make different kinds of bagels, from plain t o peanut choco's, peach & apple yogurt, tomato cheese, spinach, cinnamon fruit, blueberry, soymilk, germ honey, onion cheese and a lot more to choose from. These bagels can also be kept frozen for upto 2 months in your freezer. Just thaw, microwave, then toast it everytime you f eel like having one. You'll also see different kinds of ideas on How to enjoy your bagels in their site. If you can notice, the one on the top right side, that's a Bagel Rusk. They taste just great.

Today is our 2nd year Wedding Anniversary. But it seems to be that he has forgotten.
Is it really important to celebrate anniversaries? Or are they (Japanese) really this type of person,which seems to be that they don't give importance celebrating occassions like this(I don't mean having parties,I mean just remembering that day would be too much appreciated)? I really don't know,can anybody tell me,what your stories about this things? or what should I do? do you think I should get an action,maybe I should do the move first? like celebrating it every year,for example baking a cake,like that...so he would learn,and will know exactly the way I want. Or am I just being too sentimental about this things?
I will tell you,if he remembers it and greets me,Anyway he still have time 'till midnight. LET'S SEE!_!
