When you don't watch football you can get a lot more done on Sundays than other days.
Working on Apple, Garmin, RIMM, coffee and clothes today.
It seems like retail may be slowing down, at least in some categories
I wonder if the economy is slowing or people are going to pull back for Christmas

Today battery sales at Energizer were less than expected. People also expected a restructuring plan which they didn't announce.
Coffee is still selling for Green Mountain and Ipads are still selling for Apple
Research in Motion is losing market share but it will be a long time before they admit it

Apple Ipads are selling well and so is Green Mountain Coffee.

I was driving around this morning looking at stores. Checking for inventory on Coffee makers. Coffee, Ipads and other things.
It is always interesting looking at shelves and shelf space

Green Mountain coffee is being investigated for financial shenanigans, it seems unlikely but the stock has been crushed.

Apple must be selling a lot of everything, Ipads, Mac Books and Phones
Green Mountain Coffee said they were selling a lot of brewers and a lot of coffee.
I wonder what happens with furniture and away from home coffee

Tomorrow Green Mountain Coffee reports, and I am very curious what they will say.
Apple is still selling all of the Ipads they can make, same with the phones. Mac books sales may be an interesting by product of the strength of their store visits.
If the economy turns soft what will happen to sporting goods?

Apple may be selling more Mac Books than people think they can. I-phone returns are slowing down and some people who bought the new phone are opting not to get a bumper even though it is free.
Green Mountain Coffee is reporting earnings on Wednesday, that will be interesting

Apple will be battling with Blackberry and Android for the smartphone market. Nokia doesn't seem like a threat but you have to pat attention to them
Green Mountain is going to be shipping a lot of extra brewers in the September quarter. People won't want to get caught short handed.
The question still remains is this a fad or a trend?

Apple had a strong quarter and Ipads aren't cannibalizing MacBooks. I phones are doing great and there aren't many returns.
Today we will see what Skechers says about the future of Shape Up shoes.

Another day to find out how Apple products are selling, I don't think there is any slowdown.
People want the IPhone4 and are buying it. People are buying Mac Books and Ipads.
Starbucks reports earnings soon and I bet they have a lot to say about free internet and Via.
Green Mountain reports in 2 weeks and I think they sold enough to make people happy.

Apple is selling a lot of everything. MacBooks aren't being diluted by Ipads and I phones are driving adoption to Apple products
Specialty coffee is getting more competitive.

Apple sold 1.7 million I phones over the weekend, and people were waiting a long time to get them.
The Grove in LA had I phones left on Friday and Saturday.
The single serve market is getting stronger, but not for Starbucks or for Peet's.
You can buy pretty cheap furniture at Macy's

Apple sold a couple of million I phones, they will probably sell another half million Ipads in the last half of June. Mac-books seem to be benefiting from all the traffic to the Apple stores.
What will Starbucks do about the single serve market? So far they have nothing.
Toning shoes are doing well and people are generally happy with the results they get.
Macy's is selling leather recliners for $250, quite a bargain and the cheapest price I have seen.

The Chinese are trying to be more agreeable concerning monetary policy. Coffee is still strong and Ipads are still selling. I phones come this week for those who ordered them.

How many K cups will Green Mountain Coffee make in September. It will have to be a lot to make their numbers.
