Would you be angry after you heard your roommate was taken advantage of?Of course you will!One of the dudes which I will name as Dude A, actually started hugging and kissing her the next morning after 1 night of partying in a club where he started touching her too. Dude,seriously if you just want to have sex with her then say it instead of playing with her feelings. She moved out after I moved out cause she couldn't stand it anymore.

I even have a Facebook argument with Dude A cause he was questioning me on why was I so concern about her?Stupid egoistic men and that's not the worst part. What he said next, was so rude that I swear if I ever see him, I will throw him to the cannibals, wait that's not bad enough, oh well, it'll do.

He actually said this and I quote, "but generaly asian people likes screw,why chinese populatıon ıs very high". He wants to improve his English but I think he should keep it that way, it's so 'funny'. Another quote from the animal himself, "I claım that you and every asıans lıke sex".

He actually said ASIANS.So you tell me, if you will not feel pissed after someone said that to you(if you look at it in the correct use of English)?

Anyway,I thought I will not have to step into that house anymore but I was so wrong. I left a shoe bag under the bed and I only realized it after a week. I was so worried and I kept bugging my buddy, Akin to help me get my shoes back for the entire day after finding out and at first I couldn't tell him why cause he would kill me.

So why was the shoe bag so important that I just have to get it back? No, it's not because it's an expensive shoes or anything, it only cost me RM40 for those shoes. It's because I left my travel allowance inside that bag, all my survival money. Told Akin,the amount, he was like 0_0!!!Then he started to call for back-up in case Dude A wants to throw something at me if he sees me. The entire time,I was praying that they did not find my shoe bag before me and thank all the gods, they didn't and the money was still there. Thank all the gods that Dude A was not there when I went to get it back. I would have ninja-kick his balls if I see him.

Also my dear family did not know anything about this, if they do, they would have killed me through the phone or Skype.

Anya, who became one of my closest friends when I was there, said I was the most entertaining person/ Malaysian she has ever met. She couldn't stop laughing after I told her about the shoes and she stills remembers it until today and teases me whenever she gets the chance. She's gonna take that story back to Poland and make sure everyone she knows, will know about the "Malaysian girl and her shoes" story. I miss her a lot, couldn't get to say a proper 'Goodbye!' before she left to travel around Turkey. We used to hang out after work and watch 'The Big Bang Theory' together on her laptop and she got me into 'Pretty Little Liars' too.Hopefully, I get the chance to go to Poznan, Poland to see her again!

One day,we went to check out this cafe near our workplace and I get to try Turkish coffee for the first time, thank god there was sugar or else I would have not be able to drink it. Didn't know that you're not suppose to stir the coffee cause the coffee sands(don't know the correct term) will be spread around.

Yes,I used a straw cause they don't provide spoons and yes,it is like an espresso size-wise and taste-wise too. After finishing the liquid parts,you can actually read your fortune from the coffee sands or get someone who knows how to do it,to do it for you or else it's all just lies to make you happy.

Ate baclava!!!OMG ITS SO GOOD!!!IT'S ONE OF THE THINGS YOU MUST EAT BEFORE YOU DIE!!!

Then, we got free desserts from a waitress cause she thought I was very pretty. Thank you lady! You certainly made my life better after what I went through before!

There's so much more to say but I gotta go!Will continue to share my Turkey experience to you guys soon cause I finished my semester already that's why, I am blogging again!YAYER!!!

When I was visiting Efes,Izmir.

I know it has been ages but I am back and I flew to Ankara after 1 week of finishing my 2nd semester! So I was rushing to pack and to settle the flights and the AIESEC people from Ankara are so unsure of everything that it just delayed my decision to fly to Ankara also. Parents didn't want me to go cause they are so unorganized and they think Turkey is more Muslim-like compared to Malaysia which is SO NOT TRUE!Everything just passed like a whirlwind and now I am already back in Malaysia!

I REALLY REALLY REALLY x INFINITY MISS TURKEY!!!T_T.I get so nostalgic and sad when I think about all the wonderful experiences I had there with so many wonderful people!So let me share my awesome possum experiences with you all now before I lose my memory which is highly unlikely cause it was too awesome to forget especially the bumps along the way.

Just so you know that I am going to Ankara for an internship with AIESEC called 'Myself,My World' and I was there for 6 weeks and my job was to work in that summer camp project organized by AIESEC Ankara.The project's purpose was so different once I got there compared to what it has stated in the agreement form,for example, I thought it was going to be a more teaching environment but that didn't happen.Basically,we,interns are there to encourage the high school students there to speak English and also help them to improve their English.What happened was they had no schedule planned at all so most of the activities are impromptu and basically stuff for the high school kids to play so that they won't be bored.

So I left Nasi Lemak Land aka Malaysia at the end of May. The first disaster that I have to go through when I reached Ankara's airport is that no one was there to pick me up so bad first impression of the AIESEC Ankara people.IT WAS SO SCARY CAUSE NO ONE WAS THERE TO PICK ME UP AND IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I AM TRAVELING TO ANOTHER COUNTRY ALL ON MY OWN!Luckily,Perinaz,a really nice Iranian student there that actually used my luggage to hold her bag then I talked to her and asked for help.Also thank the gods that she spoke English!So she and her boyfriend who was so sweet to pick her up from the airport actually helped me so much,they went on the bus with me and told me which station to drop off and actually waited until the people from AIESEC Ankara came to pick me up.

So the three people who came to pick me up on the first day are by far,one of the nicest Turkish people I have met and I will never forget them.Their names are Tutku,Idil and Fatih.

Tutku who loves dancing a lot,literally and Gamolly who is my first Egyptian friend who happens to be the most randomly awesome person I have ever met.XD

Idil the beautiful red hair girl and Andreea,my lovely Romanian friend.

Fatih who had to carry my very heavy about 29kg luggage up and down stairs and through traffic and still is my friend.Hahaha,I miss them all!

I was assigned to live with 2 male university students along with Katrina,a unique Chinese girl from China.It was so awkward cause I never lived in a dude's apartment and I had to live with 2 dudes and it was only my first day in Ankara and I expected a proper host family which consists of a mum,a dad and kids so another mistake by AIESEC Ankara.My desire to fly back to Malaysia became stronger,like anymore crappy things happened to me,I will just take the bus to the airport and go home cause the entire family back home was worried and kept asking me to go back if there's anything wrong.

So the dudes which I will name as Dude 1 and Dude 2 brought us to have dinner cause I was starving and it was really late when I arrived so my first meal in Ankara was Kofte.It's like a beef meatball but saltier.It was ok.

I think this was Kunefe,a sweet dessert made with cheese!

Then they took us to visit the huge mosque close to their apartment.It is called the Kocatepe Mosque.

It was so pretty at night!

The dudes managed to get us permission to enter the mosque and we had to cover our hair with a scarf before entering.

Thankfully,Katrina and I share a room to ourselves but for some reasons,the 2 dudes just gave me the bad vibes.It is like my guts are telling me to give a few days and if it is still there then move out ASAP.I moved out after 3 days of staying there.Why you ask?

Reason 1:They are hospitable but not so cause you gotta get ya own food or else there's no food provided.
Reason 2:They are boys so they make my messed up room seemed cleaner for once.
Reason 3:I felt left out and I think it is because they prefer Katrina cause she talks more,therefore helping them to 'improve' their English.Dude,I was helping too by correcting your English.Not my fault that you have a big ego and a short temper and you just ignore me.
Reason 4:They live far away from the office and the only way we can get to the office was by taxi and its BLOODY EXPENSIVE to use the taxi everyday!I have a budget to survive with for 6 weeks so no way I am gonna use it all cause of transportation.

Moving out was the best decision I have made since I landed because what happened a week later was the so terrible that I had to tell you about it in the next post so toodles for now!

Review for Jesse's Girl Cosmetics-Pigments and Lip Gloss(Pink Lemonade)

Hello!I am back and I will first start with a Jesse's Girl cosmetics review!Just for your information that these products were sent to me by Fringe Fashion because I requested to try it out and review it for her so she sent some free samples for me.

Let's start with the lip gloss!The flavour is called Pink Lemonade and it definitely smelled like one!

The applicator.

Without the lip gloss.

With the gloss.As you can see,its a simple sheer gloss and it is not sticky at all.It glides on my lips smoothly but I am not sure if it is long lasting cause I have not tried that yet.

Next is the eyeshadow pigments!
This one is called Baby Blues.I just applied it straight on my lids without any primer cause I don't have one and I used my fingers.

The color is quite pigmented and it has silver and blue glitters so it has a duochrome effect which my camera failed to capture!One of my favourite colors!

Next is called Peek-a-boo.

As you can see,it is pretty much a shimmery pink color with a tiny hint of purple.

Blue Moon.

I love this color!it is a very pigmented blue eyeshadow and it really looks good on brown eyes!

Sunlit Cactus.

Another favourite of mine!It is so PRETTY!It has the duochrome effect too,it changes from brown to green!The area below my eyebrow is red because I was scratching it cause it was itchy.So it it not eyeshadow.

Next is Majestic Green.

This is not as pigmented compared to the rest of the colors and I don't know why but I feel that when people with brown eyes wear green eyesahow,their eyes will look like a tree.Same thing that goes for clothing too.

Lastly,Cafe Au Lait.

Another nice color which has the right amount of pigmentation.Very natural looking could be the a nice color to use to create brown smokey eyes.Its a shimmery brown color.

Overall,I rate Jesse's Girl Lip Gloss in Pink Lemonade a 7/10 and Jesse's Girl eyeshadow pigments a 8/10!I recommend girl's who are just starting to explore and experiment on make-up and with a budget to try out Jesse Girl's cosmetic cause its affordable!The Pure Pigment Eye Dusts only costs RM15.90 but now Fringe Fashion is having a promotion on her site and it only costs RM12.90!That's a pretty good deal if you ask me so get it while it is still on promotion.

I have been a terrible blogger and I know I have neglected you all so I shall apologize!I'm sorry for not updating as often and I have my reasons.

Assignments and presentations are murdering me plus I have to blog in my 'serious' blog which is my 3rd assignment for my Issues in Publishing and Design subject.Even the title of that blog is so 'serious'.
I have been getting sick lately that I don't even wanna touch anything technological except the television.I am still down with the flu,cough and fever.
My life has become so uninteresting since my new semester has started and I have been nerding.
The main point are the assignments and presentations.

So I will now reduce my posting on this blog to at least once a month until my next semester break on June and I will probably change my blog URL's name to something more current and more me.

By the way,I worked for my university's Open Day again on the 19th-20th March and for some reasons I rather help with the Career Talks than be a Student Ambassador aka Tour Guide.I am shocked to say that I love working for Open Day this early of the year because I get to make a lot of new friends and they are seriously so funny that you won't even have time to be sad.Horrible me only blogged about the events on March when March is gonna end soon.

I may seem outdated but today I finally tried the Cake Pops that is offered in the Starbucks Coffee Cafe in my university and they are having a promotion starting from 10th March that you can get 1 Cake Pop for free with every purchase of the Cocoa Cappuccino drink.

I rather spend RM11.80 for a Tall Cocoa Cappuccino Drink and get the Cake Pop for free than buying the Cake Pop on its own which cost RM6 which is not really worth it for a small ball of cake on a stick.

My Cocoa Cappuccino and Birthday Cake which is just vanilla cake covered with pink colored chocolate with small beads of icing sugar.I prefer this flavour than the Chocolate flavoured one cause its not too rich.

This is to show you the texture of the cake which is moist.

Since the parking situation in Taylor's University can be epic,I choose to reach college around 7.30a.m. everyday so that I can have a decent parking space in the basement but obviously reaching early has it cons too.For example,you'll be the only one there among your friends and the library is not open yet so you can't spam people's walls on Twitter or even use the giant screen Mac PC which I am currently using right now.I still can't reverse park my car cause I worry if I try doing it,I might knock into someone's car or block an oncoming car.I need someone to be in the car with me when I try to reverse park for the 1st time in months.

I'm suppose to read some readings for my Media Literacies course right now but I shall procrastinate by blogging instead of reading!I'll read those reading later or else I'll lose my blogging mood.

I don't think I have ever blog about why my bloglink is called velvettears13 so now I will tell you how on earth I got that name and why that number.

Its called velvettears13 because I had a liking to gothic things when I was in my early years in high school so I went to some gothic name generator website and the name Velvet Tears came out so I just took it from there and I think the name is pretty cool!I put the number 13 beside the name because its my favourite number though its known to be a bad luck number in many cultures but I still like this number and I think I was 13 when I started blogging.

Anyway,the title of my blog is Sweet Temptation because I love sweets and desserts that are sweet and they are very tempting and I just discovered a Victoria's Secret fragrance with that name and its smells awesome too but sadly it has been discontinued and so I can't buy it anymore.T_T.The sub-title of my blog is just a small quote from the movie 'Forrest Gump' which I think is really inspiring to me but maybe I'll change it since it has been there for years.

I'm still thinking of ideas of a new header for my blog and I have a pretty simple and no need to use photoshop way of doing one but hopefully it goes well and you can see it soon!Now I shall go meet Ayesha at Starbucks so ciao!

I am such a horrible student for not paying attention in class cause I didn't know the 8a.m class was cancelled today and I drove all the way and waited to found out that the Social Psychology students are using the same classroom as my Media Literacies subject.Jaclyn and I went to the divisional office to complain but there was no one there.The people that is working there should get a pay cut for coming to work late!We waited for 30 minutes or more until someone finally came to work and changed our classes to another class and said they will inform the lecturer.

So we went to the class to wait and lecturer did not appear cause none of us knew that she has a meeting so she cancelled the class.Thanks to that I have a 6 hour break!I HATE THE PEOPLE WORKING IN TAYLOR'S DIVISIONAL OFFICE UNLESS ITS MY FRIENDS.I was having a mental debate to whether to drive home to nap or kill time here.My dislike to driving has made me stay and I wouldn't wanna give up my parking spot.So I basically killed time spamming my Twitter and other people's Twitter wall and almost borrowed a novel from the library cause I was that bored and was wondering around the library aimlessly.

I have 1hour 10minutes left to my next class at 3-5p.m.Seriously,this year's timetable is so screwed up and I don't know why they have to rely on a timetable generator this semester.They should use the money to build more parking lots instead.

I feel like getting more color contacts from the EOS line.Cause I am currently wearing Max Misty Blue and my friends notice the color a lot so that's a good thing!I plan to either get the green one or grey.I think my eye power has reached 1000.Cause even astigmatism lens are not helping with my vision,its blurring my vision instead.

Roasted Duck Butt and there is a story behind this.

I was having dinner with my family in my grandparent's house and there was a plate of roasted duck so I randomly picked this piece of meat from the plate.I took 1 bite and it doesn't taste like normal duck meat so obviously I asked why does it taste so weird and my mum gladly said,'Oh,its the duck's butt!Its your grandpa's favourite part of the duck!'.I never ate anymore animal butts after that.

If you're being materialistic but to me its the thought of my friends who sacrifice their time and their cash in their purses just to get me gifts,that matter.It shows that they do care and remember about you though you haven't seen each other in months.

I forgotten to post this up in the Lolita Tea Party Post.Aiko gave all of girls who attended the tea party this small gift which is a Hello Kitty sweet and a small crochet flower which she has made herself.I will go and learn how to crochet during my next break which is in June.

It was raining so the picture looks dark and it was taken using Pinky(my phone).Jaclyn gave me the camera necklace and Ayesha gave me a pair of earrings and a silver bangle which was inside that super cute elephant bag that could be my new pencil case or make-up bag!XD

Luckily the bangle was not really lose so I can wear it to 'unplain(TM)' a plain outfit.Ayesha said the earrings reminds her of me...-_-lll.I find it really hard to make decisions in almost everything.

My first lolita gathering for 2011 and it was a tea party held at this bakery/cafe called Levain.It started at 3p.m.-6p.m.There was no theme for this tea party so we can come in any style of lolita that we want.

No teatime is complete without...MACARONS BABY!!!XD

From the top left:Fraise(Strawberry),Cassis(Blackcurrant),Macha(Green Tea),Triple Chocolate,Hazelnut Praline(IT IS THE BEST!!!XD),and the pink one in the middle is Framboise(Raspberry).

They seated us at the upper floor since there was 13 of us.Sadly,the tables are like my college tables when I was in UTAR.But the decor looks nice!

Milk Chocolate Mousse Cake and I forgotten what the other cake is called because those are not my cakes.I didn't even order cakes cause I was full.

Not mine also but its an adorable bun that looks like those dust things in Spirited Away or was it Totoro?

These are my share.I got the Hazelnut Praline(OMG IT WAS SO GOOD!) and Fraise aka Strawberry flavoured which just tasted alright.It cost RM3 per macaron if you order more than 10 pieces of macaron so us girls shared.

I am absolutely sorry for not updating my blog for more than a week already!I update on my Twitter more often than my blog so that's why my blog is pretty dead now.

My 2nd semester is starting on Wednesday so I will be busy busy and less updates on blog but more on Twitter.Got a screwed up timetable also.My favourite days of the week which is Thursday and Friday has become my most hated days of the week because I have classes on Thursday from 8a.m.-5p.m. and on Friday from 8a.m-6p.m.Of course there are breaks in between and I have a free day on Tuesday.But who wants their free day to be a Tuesday?!I want it on either Thursday or Friday.Thursday would be awesome cause I can get 10 pieces of Swedish Meatballs from IKEA for only RM10.Not like I can go to IKEA every Thursday to satisfy my Swedish Meatball cravings but still Thursday was my favourite day.I love how the meatballs,the sauce and the Lingonberry Jam taste so good together!XD

My next post will be about my Lolita Tea Party last Saturday!XD

I mentioned about an expensive headband I bought in my previous post.Well,its here!I got it on Monday and I bought it from Kiss&Tell and it cost RM130 for the headband and an additional RM7 for shipping.So do you think its worth it?This was an impulse buy that I don't regret cause it adorable and I can wear this with my lolita dresses!This headband is originally from Sereni&Shentel,show some love for local designers!

It is packed carefully so that it doesn't get damaged.

Front of the headband!The color I got is 'Candlelight'.

Back of the headband which has a little defect with the stitching but its not obvious.

This came with a care card and dust bag too which I forgotten to take a picture of.Anyway,there is lolita tea party coming up next Saturday and then I will get to wear this together with my new dress and shoes!Can't wait to see the other lolitas cause it has been a while since I have been to a lolita gathering!XD

I wanted to learn yoga after I quit belly dancing so that I have another way to work out and so that I won't have flabby body parts when college starts.I wanted to join Beth Yoga Centre which is near my house but Mum rather send herself to yoga lessons than sending me.So I rather Youtube some Yoga videos to learn at home and at the same time,I can save money!XD.

So I have been practicing some moves using these videos!I start by warming up with this video,I'll usually skip the early parts and go straight to sun salutations.I still haven't master the sun salutations yet.

Then we go to the beginner poses.These videos are so far the easiest to follow in my opinion cause she teaches it slower compare to other yoga videos.

I tried doing the twist and put your hand at the other knee pose and I kept slipping and falling!I have horrible balance...T_T

So now I am practicing with this video!So that I will be balanced and decrease my tendency to fall down when someone pushes me.XD

This video seriously made me more awake and less grumpy in the morning!

So try those videos out and you will definitely feel better and it will make you healthier too!If you have any yoga tips for a beginner like me that is self-learning yoga at home,please give me some pointers so that I can be better in yoga!^_^

I just found out I can't order China Glaze's Crackle polish for now...Oh well,it saves me money!XD.By the way,I just made an impulse purchase which happens to be the most expensive accessory I will ever own.Its handmade by local designers.The reasons I bought this are to support local designers(MALAYSIA BOLEH!) and handmade things and also it would look really nice with my lolita coordinate!I will definitely post up pictures of it and reveal its identity to you all once I receive it!I wonder if my parents read my blog...If they find out about this purchase I got,I AM SO DEAD MEAT!They would probably cut down my allowance!T_T.

I have a soft spot for handmade things...I love buying handmade accessories especially!Lately,I have this obsession with RAINBOWS!OMG ANYTHING THAT HAS RAINBOWS ON IT!!!I am currently,expanding my rainbow collection,so far I have rainbow earrings,hairpins,strap and I am gonna get rainbow socks and this OH SO CUTE RAINBOW HAIRBAND THAT COST A BOMB!RM160!BUT ITS SO NICE!OMG I SHOULD START SAVING FOR THIS!
