I talked to my friend Jerlyn and she told me that her younger brother Nathaniel is moving to the US for his new job. She was very happy that not only that her younger brother Nat-Nat will be able to help their parents in the Philippines but she is also happy that all her hard work in helping him go to school is very visible and that made her younger brother a career man. He will be moving to New Jersey this Summer and she said they told him that he might be assign into a different state once he gets her and has been working for a month. Jerlyn said that she will definitely visit her brother to new jersey even if California is far away just to congratulate and see her younger brother. she told me that since Nat will be wearing a suit, she has a perfect silk ties to give him as her present to him. I know how hard Jerlyn has been working to be able to help pay with her siblings tuition fees and I am just happy to see that her siblings are working hard to repay their sister for all her hard work!Congrats girl.

It is almost time for me to move this blog to Wordpress. I just thought that it is about that i can use the mother domain for this one and have it hosted. I am only waiting for Ylan to move her blog so I can start moving an dblogging from WP. I also talked to Payu2 and they are okay about me moving to another platform and changing the URl to it's main domain. I am very excited to move . My kids are wondering what will happen to their blogs and I told them that I might make them one blog and they have to merged their post into one blog! I just hope Ylan will move her blog into a new domain ~~fast~~ smoothly.

What is up with my favorite team the Dallas Mavericks? They won 21 but lost 13 games! They are rank #5 in Western Conference Standing. The Lakers is rank #1 in Western Conference with 27 winnings but Denver came in 2nd with 25 win but has 5 winning streak! I think they are doing better now that Allen Iverson is gone! I do like AI but sometimes he takes all the shot which i can't blame him especially when no one in his team is scoring! See that? I still defended AI lol. I do like the Denver Nuggets eversicne Carmelo Anthony joined the team when he came out from Syracuse. I was glad that the Mavericks won the game yesterday with 107-102 against the LA Clippers.

I just found out that the Dallas Mavericks will host the All Star 2010.. It will be exciting and i really want to go one day and see my Mavericks play. Despite with my husband's comment I could careless if I will be an embarrassment for him. Because I will yell, cheer, whine when i get to see them play live! I will stand on my feet all night long watching them play even if it will give me the painful foot condition in the heel and arch area called the Plantar Fasciitis. As long as I can see them play live GO Mavericks!

Yes I have I think 12 round Fruits last New Years Eve! I am a dork when it comes to Noodles, Round Fruits and no chicken during New Year! Why noodles ? because they said that its the symbolism for longer life and good health on the upcoming New Year. the Round Fruits? they said it is for the Abundance .. and no chicken? They said that chicken or any two-legged animal doesn't bring good fortune for the coming New Year. I always avoid eating chicken and other two-legged things every New Year! I think I first heard about this thing when I was in my 4th grade in Elementary School! Too long eh? One time I was very mad at my husband because he ate a chicken one New Year I think that was on 2003. I was so amd at him that I didn't talked to him for 2 days lol. I'm Weird I know, you don't have to remind me:)

This year I have a lot in mind like going to school and finally get me a job! I know, I know I have been talking about getting a job and once I get a chance to get it, I changed my mind for the sake of my kids. I do really want to make some extra $$ for many reasons! Like help pay bills, send my family in the Philippines some $$ and save some for vacations. I am thinking about getting a medication Aide license just to work part time in a Retirement Community near my house. It's a very easy job no physical work but you have to be careful when dealing with prescription medication though. I am trying to find a job between 7-midnight. Not a lot of places offer that . I don't want to work in a fast food chain though.Why? coz it's no fun! anyway have been putting this tag for 3 weeks now so, here it goes....

Anyway moving on, I made some Fruit Salad and I think my taste buds are changing since I don't eat as much as before. I think my fruit salad is just too sweet for me now. I will consider not putting any sugar the next time I will make one. I am thinking about donating blood this month. I still haven't call if they are open on Saturday. I want to go when my husband is not at work so he can drive me. Sometimes I get dizzy esp. when I have my blood drawn. I am not anemic my iron count is perfect but I get dizzy sometimes, I think it's what they called Vertigo. It's kind of annoying and dangerous though coz usually it triggers when I am driving! Anyway, got to go and enjoy the rest of your week!Coz I'm sure I will!

Yes I have to admit that I am addicted to this game! A while ago I actually unlocked all the stages in this game! It is not only a fun game but it can actually make you sweat! I love the graphics, the songs and the game! We bought this one for my daughter as her Christmas present and we ended up playing it like almost everyday!

You can choose for a 1 star or 5 stars difficulty levels and once you clear the stages you will get uniforms and you will also unlock the character as a part of your new members. You can choose your cheer leader and she will be teh captain of the squad. You can change your hair color, skin tone, uniforms and even change character. Now since I unlocked every members, I can jsut go back to each stage and unlock harder levels! What can I say? I love this game!

Healthy Cooking

One thing I added in my New Year's resolution is healthy cooking. I admit that sometimes I splurging with more sugar in recipes but come to think of it with the increasing numbers of Obesity problem, I have to consider changing my cooking and eating habits. Not only that it is good for me but for my whole family. This way, we will be able to get more nutrients and vitamins instead of health problems caused by fatty foods and unhealthy cooking. I will try my best to stick into my resolution and change into healthier lifestyle for me and for my family not only for this year but for many more years to come.

My friend Jerlin will go on a vacation next year. They will go to China and then to Cebu Philippines and yes I am jealous. The tickets are just so ridiculously expensive. Even if I have to save of two years worth, it won't still enough. Especially in our current economy. The airlines kept raising their airfares. I just don't think middle people can afford traveling nowadays.

Even with envious feelings, I told my friend to consider getting a travel insurance when going to China since she and her husband are not very familiar of that country. It is very important though to plan about the trip very well. They need to know the nearest hospital that they can go to if there's any emergency. Also the insurance will help cover the costs. I just think it is important to be prepared at all times especially when traveling into foreign places. I hope that they will have fun on their trip.

My princess will be turning 4 this Sunday and she is very excited about it! I still don't have any idea where she wants to go but I'm sure of one thing though, she wants a Strawberry Shortcake gift. She loves Strawberry Shortcake clothing, DVD's, CD's, books, stickers, pencils, coloring books, Workbooks and games.

Big opps for me, I didn't order her any cakes yet! She had a you guess it right.. a Straberry Shortcake cake last year. I'm sure she wants it this year. Hopefully the bakeshop will be able to make her one before Sunday. I will ask my husband if he can drop by and order her some.

She was very happy with her Wii We Cheer game! She like dancing and she just love cheerleading stuff. She watched Briing it on a lot of times! All of the Bring it on movies! She is just a girly girl..

I love the Holidays especially in the Philippines. Christmas Eve is so fun with all the Noche Buena food to eat. Trust me you will be stuff with delectable foods like Ham, Fruit Salad, Paella, Lobster, Lumpia and so much more. You will be needing Fenterdren to help you back to your desired weight.

Christmas so so much fun in the Philippines because eventhough we don't have Christmas trees nor gifts under the tree, we valued Christmas day without Gifts nor Christmas Tree. Everybody is greeting everybody they come across with smile from ear to ear. Diskoral in the street, cheerful songs and we put away disagreements.

I miss the Holidays in the Philippines. It is just so much better tahn anywhere else!

Getting into tags again :) My friend Jen from Canada e-mailed this to me since she is not interested in having her own blog for some reason. She thought that it's too much work and afraid to get stuck in front of the computer. lol.

***I'm walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves. This one made me smile because it reminds me of my daughter. Last month, I am harvesting for a Christmas present for her and we went to Nintendo wii site and browsed for games. She liked the We Cheer for wii and she loved the trailer of that game and loved the song. So everytime I hear that song it makes me smile coz it reminds me of her imitating the girls in that trailer.

*** Juicy Steak.. yes I love steaks and if I think about it it makes me smile and definitely HUNGRY! I LOVE MEAT!

*** My daughter.. she is my sunshine:) She is really funny.

*** Hmmn, this is a tricky one. I talk to all my friends everyday:) well, I am a stay at home mom and I have all the time in the world to chat whether on the phone or online. That's the most interesting topic we have, we talked about the current news her weight loss journey and how she lost pounds by using Hydroxycut and how she get herself commit to exercising .We also talk about movies a lot! we both like movies and that';s one of teh things we have in common just like talking about other people haha.

Oh Christmas Tree

Yesterday my husband kept telling me that they want to put the Christmas tree up. I said that it is too late to put it up. But they want a tree this Christmas. I told them that if they will help then they can have a Christmas Tree.

As usual they forget about it but husband told me that we might put up the tree tonight. I think it is too late to put it up , it's only 3 more days and it's Christmas!

We will see if they are really willing to put it up tonight.

Don't you love the Holidays? There's too much to be excited to like seeing relatives, for some reason we feel so cheerful and festive and we get to eat home made foods like Delectable ham, deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, green beans casserole and our favorite pie made by grandma. We need to watch ourselves not to indulged too much in these delicious meals for it will ruin our diet. Some people I know uses diet pills to shed off pounds after the Holidays to get back on their diet track. I can remember Grandma always says that it is best to consult the doctor before taking anything. There's only 3 days to go before Christmas are you ready for the grand Holiday yet?

Family gatherings are just wonderful especially in this time of year. They get to spend time with their relatives who they haven't seen all year and try to catch up on all the things. Some people get to book a place where everyone will meet like those beautiful places you can rent from Outer Banks rentals. They would plan for the whole week of fun activities. I know one family who usually holds a talent show. They also got great activities like skiing, making hot chocolates,building gingerbread house, Christmas caroling and exchanging gifts. It woulds be nice to make a tradition like this that will give each family something to look forward to during the Holidays.

It's almost Christmas and I still haven't completed my Christmas shopping. I don't think we are going to have a Christmas Tree put up this year. Certainly I am not going to put it up now. It is too late and I am still lazy to do it. So I am going to pass the Christmas Tree this year but at least I sent out Christmas cards this year.. Yehey for me! Last year i had my Christmas tree up but I didn't send out Christmas Cards. I had it, it was sealed but I was too lazy to walk outside and put the envelopes in mailbox. Yes i am bad in sending letters, trust me I have letters to send for my father it was dated 2001 and I still ahve it in my house. I am bad in things like that. I still don't know who is going to cook but I am sure we are going to serve HAM(again). Tc~

It's really December and we all know what's going on this month, major Holiday. I haven't put up any festive decorations just because I don't feel like it yet...My kids would like to have the Christmas tree put up but I get tired of putting it up and taking it down. So I don't know yet. Gifts, gifts.. the kids already kow what their grandma got them for christmas coz it's sitting widely open in my Dining room. I got the package days ago and it was a Wii game console from my mother in law. I think we will buy our kids extra games and some clothing as Christmas present. I already have my Christmas present. hubbby bought me a Kitchen Aide Mixer and he bought himself 2 kind of saws so we got our Christmas present early lol.... I tihnk my husband will fix the christmas Dinner and I will be cooking for New Year. Hey, I love new year the most. it might not be as exciting as the one's in the Philippines but I just love New Year... Anyway gotta go for now and try to heat some chicken for lunch.. TC~

One of our responsibility as a parent is to teach our kids about our world and out belief. It is important to teach them about religion and let them know the whole story about it. Of course it will be overwhelming to them . Christian books are helpful tools when introducing someone about our religion. There are books for kids and adults. Inspirational books are also helpful to those who are confused and astray. Give someone a book today.

Did you know that the Latest Blogger is in Draft? Blogger on a update. Lots of features that is helpful like import and export tool! I am currently using the blogger draft just to try the newest beta. Also you will notice when you upload a picture using draft is that you will see a note about stealing pix or infrigement is bad! You can just now drag the photo around if you want it left or right after uploading and viewing in compose mode. glad to knwo Blogger is upgrading their stuff!

Finally moved my My Drama blog from Blogger to WP. It was an easy transition compared to Blogcast. I had a hard time copying and pasting since they didn't have any easier way to moved it all.
