The RCRC is a transforming robotic car that “can go from ‘bot to vehicle with a quick flick of two joysticks on the included remote control.” When in car mode, the remote lets you drive forwards, backwards, left or right. Flip back to upright mode, and the robot can spin left or right.

Dreamoc are working on a 3D display system which will shoot holograms right out of ur screen… WICKED!!!! Makes me rememebr the good old hologram tool in Duke Nukem 3D. where you would leave a small disc anywhere which will display ur hologram to confuse the enemies (really useful in multiplayer). And now this technology once embeded within the mobiles will bring mobility to same concept…

Holograms will be new accessory to express one self rather than simple 2D wallpapers. Some would be featuring latest actresses modeling… others will prefer to project more prank natured holograms like projecting poop on canteen table where everyone else is eating hehe! and more useful people will eb using it to display 3D maps or displaying interiors or machine cross-sectional views… the possiblities are limitless if this technology finally brings holograms to the masses.

Mozilla ppl are workign on a new browser which will be 10% faster than Google Chrome. The reason to start working from scratch was to make it compete Chrome. The browser is still in alpha stage.. which means its highly unstable and none of ur old Firefox stuff will work with it (althu looks wise its still the same).

Windows 7 is going to come out sooner than anyone expected due to slow industry adoption of Vista. (Although verbally Microsoft still proclaims that Vista will complete its tenure before public gets their hands on 7). The Asia-Pacific Space Agency continues to grow,, combining the spacefaring ambitions of China, Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Cambodia, Indonesia and others:

“Given China’s diplomatic use of space, there is a very good chance they would be taking somebody from a new country,” Cheng said.
China has spearheaded the founding of the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization, a group intended to promote space cooperation between Asian nations. Cheng pointed out that both Iran and Pakistan are members of the group, and could be potential clients for Chinese space transport.

“I would strongly suspect that at this point in time the U.S. is probably unlikely to be taking any Iranian citizens into space,” Cheng said. “But China has had successful sales of satellites to Nigeria and Venezuela, both of which are oil-producing countries, which would make Iran a candidate as someone who might send an astronaut up.”
