Entrecard made a major announcement today which was the single most asked for feature by its users.

In a few weeks from now, you will be able to exchange your credits for cash. Yes! You can now directly make money from Entrecard. As a result of this, they are opening up their 125×125 banner ads to 3rd parties, enabling them to buy ad spots on the Entrecard system.

This is a big step forward for Entrecard that has been becoming more and more visible on the blogosphere.

I’ve been away from blogging here at lab209 for about a week now. My focus was on getting some traction going on Twitdom. Twitdom has had a very good launch with some good coverage in the blogosphere, including a coverage from Mashable.

I will keep spending some time on Twitdom on a daily basis henceforth, but would be back to blogging as usual on lab209.

If you haven’t yet visited Twitdom, do so now. Its a Twitter Applications Database and has over 140 applications covered so far. The number will grow to over 200 fairly shortly.

Retweetrank does exactly what the name suggests. It tells you your ranking in the Twitter ecosystem based on the number of times your Tweets are retweeted by others!

The image below is a screen shot which shows you my rank. A lousy 1150 currently.
