Curly Hair Flexibility: 2 Tips to Help You Decide

When deciding on a human hair or NaturoSynthetic™ lace wig or hair extensions for the first time. We recommend purchasing a hairpiece that will give you greater hairstyling flexibility if you like to change it up regularly. Our curly hairstyles offer this flexibility. Our human hair curly hairstyles in all forms of hair extensions may be flat ironed. Our NaturoSynthetic™ hair extensions are moderate heat flexible also allowing a curly hairstyle to change to straight. With both forms of hair a simple wash will bring back the curls of the original style.

Neutralize It

As the weather begins to change in most U.S. states from warm to cold we need to start thinking about product build up. Over the summer your lace wigs and hair extensions may have experienced hair product overload. Typically the summer brings out the adventure in us and we begin to experiment with various hairstyles which generally require hair products to shape, mold or hold in place these artistic hairdos. These products overload may include the following:

Hair Protectants from hot tool straightening and curling
Deep conditioners for hair shaft coating from swimming in cholorine or salt water
Hair lotions protecting the hair from sun rays
Hairsprays and spritzs to fight heat and humidity

With various products used on your lace wigs and hair extensions you may notice that your old favorites do not seem to work as well as before. In most cases the reason for this is hair product build up. A good neutralizing shampoo will clean your hair more deeply than regular or conditioning shampoo. It gives you a blank slate to start anew with your favorite hair products.

Neutralizing shampoos are not meant to replace your regular shampoo and should be used no more than once a month and only when needed. If you are neutralizing your hair as a winter prep we suggest also protecting your hair against embarrassing static with Brandywine Non Static Shampoo which will prevent those pesky, static, hair fly aways.
