Qui due sono le cose sacre (a parte il pub del venerdì e la fila) la colazione e il week end.

Vado matta per tutto ciò che è zupposo e zuccoso. Basta che la temperatura scenda sotto i 15° e la mia cucina diventa una fucina di minestroni, zuppe, vellutate e di curry.

Ormai sono conosciuta al mercato per essere quella delle manie, zucche e cime di rapa fino a primavera, poi carciofi e asparagi, niente frutta, tanti limoni e radicchio a gò gò.

Non impazzisco per i dolci a meno che non contengano mele.
La torta di mele e lo strudel hanno popolato le mie merende infantili; avevamo sempre mele in balcone grazie a nonni, amici e parenti e mia mamma, da buona trentina, ne ha sempre fatto buon uso: dalla salsa di mele e cipolle per le carni al risotto con le mele fino alle frittelle di mele (quelle spesso me le sogno!)

Si sa non amo i dolci, ma il periodo finto autunnale e la speranza dell&#39;inverno mi portano a desiderare di essere in grado di proporre dolci a ospiti, amici, parenti e persino marito che non siano solo la mousse al cioccolato (troppo fredda e yin) o i budini. Spesso rimedio chiedendo agli ospiti di portarsi il dolce che preferiscono, ma non sempre è possibile.

Un&#39;estate buffa, iniziata tardissimo, con poche settimane di vero e terrificate (per me) caldo, settimanali tempeste d&#39;acqua e con le vacanze, in parte, ancora da fare.

Se l&#39;anno scorso mi potevo lamentare del caldo assurdo, ora devo solo starmene zittina, anche se Milano continua a essere una città dove bastano 5° in più per avere afa, asfalto appiccicoso e persone pazze che mettono i condizionatori a 17° (e che ancora non hanno capito come faccio a manometterli).

Il curry è uno dei miei cibi coccola: caldo, colorato, morbido e pieno di profumi.&amp;nbsp;

Se c&#39;è una cosa che non sopporto è buttare via il cibo; non sono una maniaca dell&#39;utilizzo dello scarto (ci fanno intere trasmissioni e alcune cose mi lasciano piuttosto scettica), ma i gambi di alcune verdure sono buonissimi soprattutto se cucinati freschi.

La soba è un tipo di noodles che adoro; calda in inverno, in brodo e fredda con il ghiaccio &amp;nbsp;in estate. Ne amo la consistenza, la ruvidità e il sapore pieno e antico.

Finalmente son ricomparsi sui banchi del supermercato!! Cosa? Beh i Cavolini di Bruxells.
Li amo alla follia e potrei, insieme alle cime di rape e alla zucca, mangiarli tutti i santi giorni senza stufarmi mai.
In più sono tondi, leggermente amarognoli e pieni di buona energia riscaldante per la stagione fredda, uniti alle cipolle rosse sono un mix perfetto.
