Ramblings

So it has been a really crazy, interesting, fun few months. I have been quite stressed because I have been a temp at work. It was supposed to turn into non-temp in October but due to them having issues beyond anyone’s control (& hr taking WAY too long), I am FINALLY starting full-time, non-temp work TOMORROW! I cannot tell you how excited I am that I am finally going to have BENEFITS(!!!!), vacation days, sick days, etc. It is amazing how much you take that for granted when you don’t have it.

I have also been playing on Foursquare WAY too much. I never got the point of it before but now I have decided it is really quite fun and has specials when you check in certain places. Definitely worth playing with.

And the best thing? It is getting WARMER! Today has been about 62 and I went on a lovely 4 mile run! There is not a cloud in the sky and it is just absolutely beautiful. I love days like this!

I was babysitting tonight and just got home.

I cannot believe February is halfway over and now it is time to start seeing St. Patrick’s day crafts. Oh how I wish I could just craft all day every day! I had a fabulous birthday last weekend and got lots of rest and even stamped some jewelry.

Super sad day in our household with the Patriots losing, but it was still a fabulous game. It would have been an even more fabulous game had they caught that last throw but it is alright. They are still number 2. Anyway… let me see what you have been working on this week! It is my birthday week (my birthday is the 12th and I know that is next Sunday but the week leading up to it is your week, haha so I am pretty excited about that and praying I will not be sick this year!

Super Bowl XLVI

Superbowl time! Who do you want to win? At my house we are BIG Patriots fans! On game days my sister, me, and my mom all wear our jerseys in support of my dad’s (and ours) favorite team. We all watch the games wherever but you can bet there is texting back and forth among everyone in regards to certain plays etc. Where will dad be this year? At the Superbowl!! I am very excited for him that he is going and am praying that the Patriots win for him! I will be watching the game on tv and will be enjoying the game as well as the commercials.

Heres to hoping the Patriots come out on top!

So I am seriously lacking motivation (and time…cry) to make some Valentine’s day crafts but some fabulous ones were linked up to Handmade Tuesdays this week.

I love this little ruffled onsie from School Time Snippets. It is absolutely adorable and would look just as precious on a t-shirt.

I love these Valentine’s day suckers from Simply Designing. Now, I don’t have any candy canes lying around but I wish I did! Maybe I can find some in a clearance bin somewhere? Just a thought

These candy heart look-a-likes are made from drop clothes and filled with lavender from Make It, Give It. This is one I think I need to find time to make as I think it would be adorable to give these out!

I hadn’t until about a few weeks ago. It is a Daily Deals website of sorts but has multiple shops you can shop from and you can see the upcoming shops as well.

Anyway, it took a little while for my shirts to come (I ordered them on the 4th and got them yesterday) but I am still very happy with my order. I received two Sophie Max shirts (super soft and comfy) for less than $35 including shipping! They have women’s, kids, house and more. Tomorrow it says they have Steve Madden and Travel Accessories and last week they had Dog is Good. They have fitness gear a lot too and I need to take them up on it!

Anyway, you definitely need to check it out!
