六四 ● 22 年的憤怒

當大會問，維園現場有多少人在六四發生時還未出生，竟有最少三分一舉起燭光！

我們穿著白襯衫，坐在地鐵車廂的一列座位，閱讀89年6月4日的舊報紙。 每次有途人問可否拿一份來看,  或給孩子看, 都很感動! 最深刻是, 有一位內地人盯著我的報紙,我問她是否想要一份? 她說: "不用了...這是秘密! shhh!!!!"

今年影相不多，反而想全心體會燭光的意義及反思我們除了悼念以外，還可以做些甚麼。

"Love overcomes hate.  Love has no color.  Love has no orientation.  All is love." -Adam Lambert.

I'm straight.  I never stood up for gays or lesbians or whatever you call them.  It has never been an issue dear to me...until Adam Lambert appeared.  Now I would even flail over boy couples like this beautiful pair!

Yes, stepping into his shoes made me feel his pain.  I've also come to realise that:

1. Ignorance is only a bliss to those who are ignorant.
2. I was wrong.  I used to tell people that gays don't "choose to be gay", but in fact it shouldn't matter at all.
3. I will not ask people to accept gays anymore.  Nobody's superior.  They should be "respected", not "accepted".

Sadly, in Hong Kong, there's still a long way to go.  Perhaps we could all learn something from the girl in the photo above: she's only fifteen, and is setting up a Human Diversity Club in her school, probably the first in Hong Kong history.  Did I mention that she's an Adam Lambert fan too? ;)

不是一般的風

偶爾失去一點點

去澎湖, 本來只想 hea 足八日, 給自己叉叉電, 到最後, 澎湖卻以幾倍的美麗和熱情來奉還...

第一天: 香港 → 高雄(轉機) → 澎湖馬公市

1. 天空的顏色: 在高雄是灰的, 到了澎湖卻變成藍!
2. 問小王最喜歡澎湖甚麼, 是天? 是海? 是人? 都不是。他說, 是喜歡這裡的生活方式。他是一個大男孩, 在澎湖經營自己的民宿 (link), 客廳裡就放著一本「放慢 ● 生活的腳步」。
3. 民宿位於市郊, 三面環海。他們的狗, 名「熱狗」!
4. 海風很舒服。
5. 堂妹跟我都不會騎機車。試騎時, 差點撞了 >_<
6. 市區的路邊小吃, 比台北的好吃多了!!! 最好吃的是蛋荵餅!!!! 離開馬公前, 還特地去多買幾個呢...
7. 很早便睡, 一覺睡到天亮 :)

第二天: 環島一日遊

1. 自然起床, 不靠鬧鐘。
2. 打開窗簾, 只見一片藍天白雲與海!
3. 小王給我們買了午餐, 蛋黃麵超好吃的!!!!
4. 參加了「環島幸福小巴悠閒一日遊」, 團員只有我和堂妹 :)
5. 我們的司機兼導遊, 花名「大鍋菜」, 粉絲無數, 對澎湖有深度的認識及瞭解，更是澎湖唯一有賽車駕照的職業賽車手。
6. 島與島之間有「誇海大橋」, 但其實不是海, 是湖, 所以才這麼平靜無浪! 澎湖的名字, 也是由此而來 (澎湖 = 台語的「平湖」) 。
7. 這裡很多的建築材料都是玄武岩及珊瑚石, 很有趣
8. 島很大, 景點很多, 不想趕景點的話, 必須作出取捨, 幸好我們做了功課,  放棄了一些較熱門的景點, 而選擇去一些較難到達但更漂亮的地方 :D
9. 跟喜歡攝影的人一起去旅行, 真好
10. 晚餐吃了 "花干菜", 好味翻了!!!
11. 珍珠奶茶很便宜 (~HK$7)
12. 吃過晚飯, 民宿小王親自來接我們, 還帶我們去買干貝醬和其他名產, 又免費請我們吃珂煎餅!  小王雖然外表 cool cool 的, 但行動證明, 他熱愛他的工作和這個地方, 他付出大量時間和精神, 務求令我們也愛上這個島, 沒有誰不會被打動 :)
13. 小王送了自己栽種的 "倒吊鐘" 給我們作紀念, 打開花芯, 便是大大粒很可愛的種子。我們在一些店裡逛了很久, 也找不到比這更好的手信!
14. 那天晚上, 我們趟於吊床, 慢慢搖曳, 吹著海風, 邊看星星邊喝奶茶....我們, 還求甚麼?

one thing i didn't tell you...

is how grateful i am to have a bunch of loving glamberts around me.

i know glamberts from indonesia, singapore, xinjiang, inner mongolia, new zealand, mainland china, canada and the united states who all came to Hong Kong for YOU alone.  they were of all ages, skin colours and preferences, jumping and sweating and screaming at your every move :P

and here in hong kong, i met these five glamberts who flail about you every day on twitter.  i call them the Flailing Five. lol. remember when this pic was taken, adam? :P

this year's barcamp may not have been as cozy or close-knitted as before but fun nevertheless!

at the intro session, i introduced myself as "no apple fan".  i also wore the "defective by design . org" sticker mocking DRM in ipods. who knew, at the end of the day, that i'd win an apple nano from a lucky draw out of 600 or 700 attendees? hypercasey... stop envying me :)

we need a DATING board next year don't ya all think!!! the idea came from preetam who, btw, brought his lovely japanese gf to the hong kong barcamp this yr, and was brave enough to start a session called "switching from iphone to android" after we had a short debate over the "openness" of  apple and google(android)!

who needs a printed map in barcamp where everyone owns at least one smartphone with GPS and internet connection? well...a guy whose name i think is Walter, proudly presented his copy of 街道王 (in A4 size) when we were all standing there and wondering where the free beer place was.  in terms of speed he only lost marginally to Mingles who was using a Nexus One!

i seriously dunno how time went so fast at the bar... probably coz @proteusguy had too many good stories to tell! about touring with his indie bands, racing against lamborghinis and ferraris in a honda... i always have the utmost respect to people who pay attention to other people's culture & events and this is one such guy :D

to friends out there who're still wondering what we do at barcamp, see above :)  i put my money on rayfil (guy on left) and he did not disappoint! :P

to friends who couldn't attend this year, like @cloneofsnake, @trumanlam, @billibala, @auteurdecinema, @alanho, @anguslau and youknowwhoyouare, i miss you guys : (
