located here, helps provide some basic description of the school's premise and mission; however, here is a quick description of LALA in digest form:
L.A. Leadership Academy is a new charter school was founded out of an urgent need to address persistent social injustice. The Academy's educational vision is premised on the idea that students are more likely to become such young leaders if they use their minds well, are well-developed emotionally, socially, and ethically, and take action to address important social issues.
