Tiktok Ban in India and Supreme court's verdict to be revealed!

Tiktok, the most popular Chinese video-sharing app that created waves around the world, will no longer be available for download in India. Google and Apple Inc. complied with an Indian High court order to restrict future downloads of the app in India, not existing users over government concerns with illicit content, and that it exposed children to troubling content, including pornography. They stated that the content of the video was objectionable. Moreover, the app has been criticized as it was used by the youth to mock and troll politicians and policemen. Recently, there were incidents in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai involving children and adults getting harmed while making the video.

Bytedance, which creates social and news reading apps, has most of its users and sales in China. Bytedance said that the ban would harm free speech in Indian public, who have been using the platform every day to express themselves and create content. In China, the government and the internal judiciary has very tight control over everything that goes on the Internet by their people. Whereas in India, there is neutrality and a free-fair open Internet. Everyone has their Freedom of Expression and to post anything on the Internet because we are not being monitored.

With short videos of up to 15 seconds, Tiktok has become a major rival to Facebook, Instagram and other social network sites among teenaged smartphone users in the past year. Here, the twist of the situation is that the High court has only ordered to ban the app from Google Play store and Apple store, but what about those who already have the app installed in their phones. I think the purpose of this could be the broader look at content regulation in India after this major change. On April 22, 2019, the Supreme court is going to listen to what TikTok and Bytedance have to say about the ban or the regulatory measures which will be used if the app is not getting banned.

India is a growing country in terms of Internet and just like other countries, even our country should get that "Freedom of Expression" to bloom and shine and show their talent at the same time. As we all know that there are a lot of inspiring and motivational videos on Tiktok made by the users, which can teach the new generation a good lesson also. Everyone in India, don't get a chance to showcase their talent easily in the Entertainment Industry and Tiktok provides them with a platform to express themselves and to connect with other talented people. So I feel, with some rules and regulatory actions, Tiktok should not be banned and should be re-launched again in India.

All it has come to light when Microsoft claimed a record by storing 200MB of data on to a synthetic DNA strand.

But, now scientists have gone much further by developing DNA storage capabilities by 100 times. A group of researchers from Columbia University and the New York Genome Center (NYGC) has invented a new coding strategy, named DNA fountain. DNA fountain is a customized version of the video streaming algorithm on a mobile phone.

With this new coding system scientist stuffed 215 petabytes of data on to a single gram of DNA strand.
