Preparing (finally) new version of gum papers collecting list system, http://list.turbogum.com/, but hardly can keep up with deadlines I considered possible. Thing is, I wanted to change the design completely how it look, and add some new features to make things simplier. What I have now, is new design ready, prepared by hired designer. All great with this question. What I have is new functions and features in mind, planned to be implemented in a time.

What I miss now is database design, to store things in a right way. Let’s say we have current system, just to show others what you got, and compare collections, but current database can’t or do not know how to handle in a right way:

collections with no numbers (donald)
collections with no numbers, but with numbers guessable (turbo naduv super bonus no numbers)
collections with bonus numbers in it (turbo 121-190)
collections with numbers not existing (turbo naduv jeeps)
collections with same numbers (turbo naduv jeeps)
collections with two different numberations (turbo naduv jeeps)
bonus collections with same numbers as existing (turbo sport violet)
different collections with same pictures but different numbers (turbo sport 471-540)
collections with numbers being not necessary numeric, for example playing cards
numbers in a collection, with quality in mind

And so on, and not even talking about bonus material, related with a collection, like covers, boxes and so on. So we miss very much information, than can be showed. And we need to fix it.

It was very simple, when we had just turbo collection in mind, but it’s not a case anymore, because most collectors collect much more things than turbo, and we have to consider this. Stay tuned for more updates.

Continuing topic about unusual and not official turbo papers, here’s something more, looking very nice. One guy calling himself allkatraz, the one who has now more different turbo than me, was so kind and shared with us. And I’m sharing it here with permission.

Here’s the story behind:

I have a full collection (+ one more insert) printed on thick paper by a former collector from Romania. He created this series as a tribute to Turbo gum and it’s the only one he had. He saw my collection and gave them to me. Because they have no connection with the gum, they don’t have a real value (they are not even folded), but they are pretty and it’s something different in my collection

I must admit it’s made pretty damn good, and all cars are just awesome. This series has even some bonus! There are two numbers #40 in it. Interesting .Very interesting. And very nice job. Take a look and have some fun.

Turbo LEGENDS – newest turbo bonus series

Recently I have managed to get some strange turbo bonus stuff. It’s not usual turbo. It’s not usual thin papers. It’s not usual cards. It’s more like thin plastic cards. It’s definitely pirated in one or another way, and I have not much info about them. And nobody have much info about them, but we are collecting our info. And now it’s time for some pictures.

So far there are 21 different items known, numbers 1-21. I have received 16 of them, and one person calling himself Tzucuny, fan of turbogum facebook page, showed me another 5. Original person I got them from has 21 items. So we have like 2 sets all together.

Any new info about this turbo stuff will be added here. Currently we know this stuff originated probably from Romania or somewhere around it. It’s also possible, that this stuff is not from gum, and is home made, but with really nice quality.

It’s not a big problem, if you have forgotten your password, and answer to secret question, and date of birth entered in when registering. But you should have the same telephone number available, that is most possible. So, all you will need is to pick up the phone.

Step 2. Fill up some answers..

Step 3. ..or choose another option to change password

Step 4. Choose what number to call, and press call now.

Next step is you enter your security code, that you got when EBAY called you, and see the form to change your password. Simple as 1-2-3. I was going to sign up on ebay to test something, remembered i had account, but forgot the password. And in such an easy steps I managed to log in.
