I had the pictures and just had to write the recipe.In the early hours of Friday my mother called &amp;nbsp;to tell me the sadder news, that my father had passed away, it was tranquil from a sleep to another. I like dedicate this post to him, I inherited &amp;nbsp;my artistic inspiration. He was a great art director and even a short time ago, he gave me lighting tips and how &amp;nbsp;should be my photos. On my last visit to Chinatown, I bought candied ginger and had not used until yesterday.
































I decided then, to bake this apple cake, because I'm still looking for the taste of ONE apple cake that I ate in college, is not the same,of course, but it was delicious, moist and spongy and I hope you enjoy
