Motor vehicle accidents involving autos, 18-wheelers, pedestrians, bicycles and motorcycles are extremely common in Alabama. Thirdly, since you were injured while in the course and scope of your employment, you have a worker's compensation claim in addition to the main claim against the tractor-trailer driver.

Finally, you may very well have a product liability claim against the manufacturer of your automobile for the failure of the seatbelt to properly restrain you during the accident, particularly if the failure caused or enhanced your head injury.
