Herophoria will run on July 13, 2013 from 3pm to 9pm in the LCCC Fieldhouse.

Open Gaming this Saturday will have the tabletop campaign be run by Justin Yoder from 2:00 - 4:30 PM, but we will change up the system for the summer season. We will be running Over the Edge rather than GURPS Supers, to give the GM and other players a chance to try out different systems. GURPS Supers: The Agency will resume during Fall Semester.

The Hallowed Pact Summer game is here! Remember, base XP is 45. You should have your character ready before game starts.

The following are off limits except by purchasing Player Points: Demons, Wraiths, Mummies, Vampires (but not Ghouls), Fae (But not Spirit/Fae Kin). Order of Reason is off limits. If there's something you really wanna do, but aren't sure if you can, give Charles the concept, and if its got a good backstory, he'll try to work with you.
Message him and his ASTs personally so they can discuss your creature type and other details.

We're back from hiatus! We're kickin' off the summer with the second game of Synod: Stitch in Time!
Next week, we begin Charles' game of Hallowed Pact, taking place in the Outer Worlds of the Umbra.

The Hallowed Pact Summer game is approaching. Charles, the Storyteller of that game wants you to start letting him know what it is that you are looking at wanting to play. Base XP will be announced soon, but first, get your concept and creature type approved and then work using starter XP. A few things to note:

So it has been decided! Synod: A Stitch in Time will be our Summer Game for the Synod slot. And its starting early! May 4th will be the date, so get 6 variations of the same character or different characters planned up and made! Remember, these are alternate versions of characters, with the consideration of how things could have gone differently if one or two details were changed!
Remember to vote for the slot opposite the Synod slot! Visit the Role Players Association Facebook page and vote on your favorite! Click here to visit!

Please remember that Special Olympics begins on Friday, March 1st and lasts through Sunday, March 3rd! It's a great event to volunteer at! Here is the link to the event on our group. You can volunteer anytime during the weekend, but if you planned on going to game on Saturday, you should really show up! Game is cancelled this weekend, however, due to Special Olympics.

Please remember that in March, we have Special Olympics to volunteer at! We help provide Half Time entertainment on Saturday by dancing on the courts. Its a fun time to be had, so be sure to volunteer!

Officer elections are being done online. If you are eligible to vote (i.e. have joined the club for more than 90 days and fulfilled all of your attendance requirements, as well as being a student member) then you will have been sent a survey link to vote for whom you think should be an officer! Remember to vote!

Those interested (and eligible) in running for an RPA Office:
Please let us know if you are interested in running for office in RPA. Of course you have to be a currently attending student member in good standing, but please make sure to read the officers election and officer position sections in the constitution before you nominate yourself. We need to know who is running for office by the end of LARP on Saturday as elections will be held the following Saturday (Online of course). Remember only Student Members in Good Standing can run for office or vote. Let us know in person, via email: officers@roleplayersassociation.com, or on our group page on Facebook.

Remember that as the new semester approaches next week, remember to volunteer for Welcome Week when the school year starts!
Also, remember that in March, we have Special Olympics to volunteer at! We help provide Half Time entertainment on Saturday by dancing on the courts. Its a fun time to be had, so be sure to volunteer!
As well, Shinboku Con 7 is coming up this semester! Our officer set is hard at work on getting things set up for this April, but be sure to volunteer for THAT as well!
Remember that Welcome Week, Special Olympics and Shinboku Con are all great ways to get Player Points, but only if you're willing to do the work! If you decide to volunteer, we're going to be asking you to do stuff. Its not hard work, so if you volunteer, please do the work you're asked to do.

James "Jimbo" Powell IV's game, Mage: Hallowed Union has had its ownership transferred to Charles Nichols, where we will be adding Werecreatures to the core player set able to be played. You may transfer your Mage character to this game as well, as it is Mage and Werecreatures at the same time for the primary. No Player Points are needed to play either!

Good Afternoon, Roleplayers! This is the news for the week of December 3rd, 2012:

Our annual Christmas Video Game Party will be on the 15th in CC 114 rooms A & B. It will be a potluck, so remember to tell others what you're gonna bring, and remember to bring gifts to the Dice Game Gift Exchange! You have to put in a gift to participate! Everyone is guaranteed at least one present. We'll have Rock Band, Karaoke, fighting games and more there on Wii, 360 and PS3.
The party itself will run from 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM, so there will be plenty of time to kick back and have some fun!
Our Open Gaming schedule is set! We only have time in this semester to get one game in for this rotation, though, so why not start a new campaign to kick it off? GURPS Supers: The Agency is being rebooted! If you're playing, you already have a character, but if you just wanna see what its about, we do have some pre-generated characters ready to go. However, the full-time player cap has been met for this game. Open Friday Gaming's schedule will likely have to wait for next semester, so keep an eye out for news on that.
