Cindy Hirch is now working with us here at Pursuing Your Calling. She’s managing customer relationships, and doing a great job at it.
 
A couple years back, she left a job…and an industry for a variety of reasons. Soon afterwards, she engaged in a coaching process with Rob Clinton. This process helped her to unpack and understand her calling.

Can your personality have an effect on your calling?

Tune in to this episode to hear a good discussion between Deb Ingino (from My Wired Style) and me (Brent Green). We discuss 2 of the most valuable personality assessments available; The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the DISC. Both of these assessments are available in our store at our main site at Leadership Equip.

Personality is one aspect that should be considered as you pursue your calling. As Deb mentions, how we are ‘wired’ will affect how we go about the job/career search process, how we relate to our colleagues and family members, and how we function within a team.

Even at a young age, it’s easy to recognize differences in personality. Deb has written a book about personality and children entitled‘The Discovery Adventure Club’.

Don’t ignore how God has designed you uniquely! Within that design are strong clues to your calling…
