Students: Can’t see your course in e-Learning?

Are you expecting to see a course in e-Learning that is not showing up there? There could be a few things that could cause this:

Your instructor may not be using e-Learning. Unless your instructor has specifically said he/she is using e-Learning and that the course is ready for access don't assume it will be there. If in doubt, ask your instructor.
Your course may not be published yet. Instructors using e-Learning will publish the course when he/she is ready for you to access it. It may not be published yet.
If you recently added a course or dropped one section and added another, it may take a couple of hours for your course to appear in e-Learning.

Turnitin System Maintenance

Turnitin will have a scheduled system maintenance on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST. Due to the maintenance, Turnitin may be briefly unavailable between those times.

e-Learning System (Sakai) Outage: 5/7 Tues (Updated)

Update: e-Learning upgrades finished roughly around 11:45 a.m and the system became available. All app servers should of been up and running by 12:15 p.m..

The e-Learning system will undergo extended maintenance on Tuesday, May 7, from 4:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. in order to update the system with a major upgrade. During this time, the system will be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have already requested your e-Learning course for Summer, the updates will be applied to your site automatically without any additional action on your part.

Faculty: e-Learning End a Semester Workshop

The Interface Faculty Seminar was designed to engage UF instructors in demonstrations, discussion, and peer networking focused on improving teaching and learning by deploying innovative pedagogy using new and emerging technologies.

We've been listening to your feedback, and we think you're going to be as excited as we are to use the new and improved features that the community and our developers have created. On Tuesday, May 7 the e-Learning system will have a new look and feel. We will upgrade our e-Learning system (Sakai) from the current version 2.8 to the latest 2.9.
