For the past two years my friend Joan and her husband Brandon have used Alton Brown's Power Pepper trick to pepper our potatoes. They are always in charge of the turkey and the mashed potatoes each year... and, while they loved the taste of fresh ground pepper, they hated how much effort it took to grind enough pepper to properly pepper the potatoes.

Then... they saw Alton's trick of <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/leavethelaundryforlater/Mirs/~4/cDzv7iY39g8" height="1" width="1"/>

Toddler Style: Blazer and Skinny Jeans

I love dressing my little man... I'll be sad when he won't let me choose his clothes anymore. Although, the way he likes ties/jackets/hats (he puts them on himself when running around the house in his diaper) I think he'll probably continue to be pretty stylish.

This little outfit was what he wore to Thanksgiving dinner. Over the weekend I woke up at 5 AM to the whine of the little guy. I groggily got out of bed and walked out into the hallway on the way to his room. Standing in the middle of the hallway with a grin on his face was my son.

I've been so excited to share the breastfeeding stories of 5 different bloggers this past week. Thank you so much to everyone who joined in on posting, reading, and commenting. I received a few emails with breastfeeding thoughts from readers and decided it would be nice to share some of the readers' experiences as well.

At the end of this week I'll share the readers' responses that I receive<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/leavethelaundryforlater/Mirs/~4/Q8ng_VpwU6o" height="1" width="1"/>

Breast Feeding Series: Giveaway!

I had a busy week this past week... so, I didn't get to post all the fun items I had planned to post. Just means I get to save them for this week and future weeks! My total goal for both my sites is to post items I believe in/want to share rather than just post to post. Sometimes they will interest everyone... sometimes they will only be just for my record. I'm so, SO excited about sharing a fun two week series on breast feeding here at Leave the Laundry for Later. Five amazing women shared some of their breast feeding stories with me to share with you.

I love how different everyone's breast feeding experience is and I want this series to be out there for the everyday momma who needs some encouragement or to feel like they are not alone. I posted this on Instagram a while back. But, I really like the idea behind it, so I am posting it here with a little more info. The photo was taken by Macey of Motormouth Studio (she did my head shots recently) and then I added the text via an iPhone app.
