NE Entertainment July 23 reported, the day before in the early morning, a popular Korean idol Lee Hyori show up at Shanghai Bund with Taiwan Pop idols Wilber Pan shooting the MV. Lee Hyori seems sexy even wrapped in a towel.

On that day, Wilber Pan – Hyori Lee collaboration for the latest MV received sponsorship of a brand car. Process filming extremely difficult, because the wind storm from time to time disturbed shooting. The police also sealed off a section of elevated road with the crew for the filming. Sooyoung: It’s an addicting song. It has an exciting melody and you start moving to the rhythm just by listening to it. “Gee” is an expression that Americans use often. Hyori paid 100,000,000 wons for her 1st concert!

Summary: Hyori didn't want to the staff to feel shocked about what happened on the side of the concert performance company so she made the decision to pay herself cos this is after all her first concert.

The truth has came late that Lee Hyori had paid out of her own expense for the staff who participated in her concert last year end. It has been known that hyori had paid up to hundred millions of krw in place of her company for the large-scale concert performance.

One of the officials who took part in hyori's last year-end concert said, "I found out that it was paid only at the beginning of this month. I also know that the amount was paid at Hyori's expense."

The concert in the name of Lee Hyori had actually caused her company much trouble because they met with something ugly.

The concert was held last year in from 19th to 20th December. The agreement that the staff guarantee and equipment be provided within 10 days was not reached. Lee Hyori's company also tried to contact the concert performance company but they could not be reached.

So Lee Hyori did not receive the guarantee as promised to her. And she had held the concert performance in the condition where accounts were not balanced and her guarantee not received.

Staff who participated in the concert performance still holds the intention of going up to the concert performance company for legal confrontation. One of the staff said, "This is not a resolved problem. Lee hyori has to come up with the solutions herself, when the party who should pay up is the concert performance company."

With this incident, with the name of 'sexy queen' of Korea, lee hyori is also called the 'justice queen' by netizens.

Hyori on love life and singing career

Singer Lee Hyori recently talked about love life, marriage and music through an interview with magazine Singles.

In it, she also mentioned that she wants to be like Park Jin Young and Yang Hyun Seok to groom young stars.

On love and marriage

She said, “I used to think about having a perfect marriage and that I can love (someone) forever. But right now, such imaginations are all gone. I meet men with the thinking of who will take responsibilities of me, who will be there when I’m lonely, but with much expectations, it seems I will only get hurt. Actually it is not like I will not accept when my other half gets lonely or when he faces things that are not going well, but right now I like it that I have a friend and we love each other and encourages each other. Someone who is like a friend who will be around when things aren’t going well, and to protect me.”

About venturing overseas

About causing an issue about her going overseas to advance her career, she said, “I always communicate with my company. Talking about not going overseas. Even if I just promote in Korea, I have no time. If I’m going overseas, it’s like I have to give up my life.” She talks about refusing proposals to advance overseas.
Rather than saying that she has no desire to venture overseas, it is more like her desire to live her life as Lee Hyori is bigger.

About grooming young female stars

Lee Hyori has decided to be the core committee to the star scouting project ‘SuperStar K’ at the beginning of May.
Hyori said, “One of the things I want to do, I would be to like Park Ji Young and Yang Hyun Seok and groom young stars. 2 of them are both men, is there no women who can be capable like them?
With that thought, I decided to join the core committee to ‘SuperStar K’. I want to groom other young singers.

Lee Hyori said, “It’s about 5 years back. There are the sons of my president’s friend, because they were doing music too and wanted to meet, and I went to meet them. They were the E-Tribe. So our president said, “Then go write us some songs”. And the next day, they wrote us not 10 but 20 songs.”
“Even though they were hardworking back then, their songs were only about 2% to satisfactory. But I see that they had the potential to write even better songs. So I kept in contact with them and told them to write songs for me. If the songs are not satisfactory, I will tell it to them straight. With that, we have the song ‘U-Go-Girl’. They worked very hard and I also like the song alot.”

About work

Hyori said, “I want to live doing things I want to do. I want to do a fashion talkshow with my name. If I have the chance, I want to do acting too.”
Even though she still wishes to get back into acting, she is taking proposals carefully and not jumping into decisions.
She said, “I don’t want to work on productions just depending on my popularity. I want to do a production that has to have me in it and needs me in it. Unconditionally mini series one top. Last time when I was filming for ‘4 Leaf Clover’, I didn’t know I was filming as the lead for miniseries one top. And it was really hard on me. I would love a minor movie or drama, I want to try a role where I can learn alot.”

News came that Kpop’s sexy queen Lee Hyori’s new album may have to be postponed till next year.

Hyori’s company initally expressed that Lee Hyori’s full length 4th album will be released this September. But recently, it has been known that Lee Hyori is looking into new projects and she has not started working on her new album yet.

Her company also revealed in an interview recently, “There is high possibility that her new album will be postponed to next year. Because she is working on new projects.”

“Because Lee Hyori will want her album to be of good standards and she will give in her all in preparing the new album, it has nothing to do with the album release time period.”

Photos of Lee Hyori's 30th birthday party have been revealed.

Her birthday, which falls on 10th May, was celebrated with her close friends over a dinner party. The photos were revealed through her close friend of 10 years Ahn Ji Hye's minihompy.

Also in the photos, stylist Jung Bo Yoon who has been Lee Hyori's stylist since her Fin.K.L times; and Kim Do Hyun producer to her first album '10 Minute' and singer MayBee were also seen at the party.

Ahn Ji Hye was known for her photoshoot together with Lee Hyori taken last March in America Las Vegas. The 2 had known each other since they were studying in Korean university in the theatrics and movies course.

Hyori rejects lovecalls to advance into American market

It has been revealed that top star Lee Hyori has received lovecalls to advance into the American market but had refused the offers.

The reason is that there are plans for Hyori to venture overseas. Mnet revealed, “We are currently working on Hyori moving to other Asian markets like China, Taiwan, HongKong etc. We may also be looking at Japan.”

“The idea of Hyori moving to other overseas is as welcoming as moving to America. But we saw more of a need for careful consideration for advancing into America. Also Hyori will need a long term plan into her overseas advancement. Hence this is what we see as feasible.”

Lee Jun Ki to guest star on Family outing

Famous actor Lee Junki will be the next guest star on the popular SBS Show "Family Outing." The filming took place from May 4th to 5th in Southern South Korea in South Gyeongsang, near the sea.

One of the staff members of Family Outing stated that Lee Junki got along well with the other co-stars of Family Outing and that they participated in many games, they also tried to catch fish.

The episodes are scheduled to air on May 17th and May 24th. I wonder if it'll be as good as the T.O.P guest starring on Family Outing episodes. It'll also be interesting to see the interaction between Lee Hyori and Lee Junki, as they're supposed to be really good friends and they did some CF's together.

Yeah. On Lee Hyori sunbaenim's foot. I honestly didn't realize i stepped on her, but she started smiling all of sudden. She came up to me later and said, "That hurt a bit".

Pop diva Lee Hyori and YG Entertainment's head honcho, Yang Hyun Suk were chosen to be the the judges for MNet's new reality show, "Superstar K"

Think of it as "American Idol". Only Korean.

The winner of "Supertar K" will receive 100,000,000 KRW, one year management contract with MNet Media, and the opportunity to debut as a singer.

The auditions for the show has already began. And in true "Idol" fashion, people from all walks of life came to the initial audition including a 90-year old grandpa and an 11-year old boy. Auditions will be held in 8 key cities in South Korea. Participants will go through regional qualifiers, then the top 32 will selected for the preliminaries until the show reach its 10 finalists.

Singer and composer Lee Seung Chul will also join Hyori and YG. Because they need a 'Randy Jackson' to complete the group.
