What I loves from Tennis is not the game itself…. but a lot of ‘dramas’ going on in and after the match. Australian Open Day 11 !!! ..and  we’ve got unbelievable facts that Roddick, Djokovic, and my hero Rafa… defeated by several less popular names (at least for not a big tennis fan like me :p ) such as Tsonga, Murray, and Cilic. But anyway… Federer seems undefeatable !!! hahahaa.. Federer Forever !!!.. And the good news is I’m going to watch him live for semifinal…tomorrow!!!

I’m not a big fan of tennis…but this year my friend asked me to watch this biggest sport event in Australia. And anyway, it’s quite a rare opportunity for me to witness so many big names at tennis, such as Federer, Nadal, Roddick, etc live  at Melbourne Park.

So…YAY !! I’ve bought the ticket for semifinal ! I bought the ticket online, it’s called ezyTicket. The ticket provider is Ticketek.com.au.

I always love BBQ party..eating sausage, chicken, ham, onion, bbq sauce hhhmmm yummy,…orange juice…beer  (I’m allergic to alcohol *_*). And this time (25th August 2009),my classmate Lance invite us to his BBQ birthday party!!! ahhahaha… lots of weird things  fun there!!! This party was unforgettable, especially when Lance just left me, Pam, Irish, and Manuel alone in the house for more than one hour to pick up others friends at the station, doing nothing inside his messy house…kwkkwwkw… luckily, there is Lance’s housemate’s dog, Emily. She’s a beautiful dog. Then we took some photos of her.

But she had to stay outside at the backyard during the party…since she’s a naughty crazy dog…always mess up the house.. After Lance came back with Jerome, Danial, Yang, and Denny, we started the BBQ party…inside the garage because it was an incredible stormy day we can’t do the party outside at the backyard…once again sorry Emily…you can’t join us…

Later in the evening it was raining heavily outside…and we decided to go inside the house while poor Emily…still had to stay freezing outside…

We then spent the rest of the evening with playing card and other quirk games. I’ll tell you on the next post!!..trust me…my multimedia classmates are totally weird..kwkwkwkkw

HAHAHAHA… actually the title has nothing to do with this post’s topic…hehe….  This time I just want to say how happy I am because this is September  and winter is over !!! So welcome SPRING 2009 !!! Regardless the global warming issues, that cause climate change, I think spring is coming on time (September – November). Start from yesterday, September 2nd, 2009, the weather is warmer and I can see the spring tree blossoms everywhere on the street.

And.. you know what … yesterday when I went to uni, I were a little bit watering so I had to take off my jacket!!!… OoOh I love this weather… yesterday was 19 degrees, SUNNY. Today the forecast said  21 degrees and THUNDERSTORM?? but strangely when I wrote this, it’s still SUNNY outside..hmmm…

Anyway… Melbourne is still famous with the “4 seasons in a day” city, so I still have to bring my jacket, just in case it will be colder later in the day.

After 4 days in row, didn’t get enough sleep…working on my piling assignments,… finally.. I can relax now… then dunno why I remember the yummy Ice Kacang, I ate with my friend Ai Ling last saturday… wkkkkk… feel like want to eat Ice Kacang again after this rushing week !!!! And yes we’re sharing the Ice…I know actually it’s not enough for both of us hahahhah…anyway, Ai Ling  thanks for the treat !!! Btw, before Ice Kacang we went to eat Kotaraya’s Hainanese Chicken Rice, and the rice was sooooooo… (speechless)…tes tes tes…(drooling)…sooo “enak”…sorry don’t have any English word to describe it… amazing!!!

Oh…bloody green… in last Urban Life meeting, I found out that Klepon, one of traditional cakes in my hometown, also popular in some other countries. HAHAHA…and one of my Malaysian friends  made Klepon for us, but they called it Onde – Onde.

Talking about Urban Life, maybe you curious know…what is Urban Life? It’s kind of a social group activities, organized by Planetshakers City Church Melbourne. We meet up fortnightly in one of the member’s house and have some fellowship there.  And like a mentioned before in my previous post “25 Bucks“, sometimes we also hang out together for dinner, movie, or even go the mountain to play toboggan on the snow last winter break. I prefer to call this group “loneliness escape” for lonely international student like me….LOL. These are some photos from last meeting:

Public Enemies @ Village Cinema Glen Waverley

YEY !!!… after rejecting 3 requests to watch Johnny Depp’s Public Enemy…because of assignments, stomachache, and bad show times, finally last friday I went to Village Cinema at Glen Waverley with my Urban Life friends, as shown in the comic above, left to right : Patrick, Isaac, Hendra, Chenny, Elyn, Chloe, Annejo (me), and Eddie. Yes !! that ‘25 bucks’ accident was really happened, unless we’re not really asked for $25 ..hehehe…but we came up with the idea of making them paid for our Yong Tofu anyway..hahahha.. The movie was started at 10pm..lucky us..so although we were 30mins late..we didn’t miss a single scene. So.., what’s showing in the first 30 mins? advertisement (of course..*_*’)

Before movie, Elyn, Chloe, Eddie, and me were having dinner at The Grand Tofu. The Yong Tofu is $9.50 and we could choose 6 items for one Yong Tofu bowl. Hmmm…for those who are Indonesian, you can say that Yong Tofu is actually Malaysian version of Bakso (Indonesian Meatball)…hehehehe…  ”gorengan, pentol, tahu” wakkakaka…. The differences are only it made of fish instead of beef (or cat or rat /_\ ) and it has variety options of soup bases like: clear soup, curry soup, tom yam soup, etc.  After dinner, we bought Bubble Tea!!! hehehhee… mine was Red Pearl Milk Tea… (sadly I forgot to take photos of it). Yes it was icy winter night, but we still prefer cold tea than the hot one..

It was great night, I think Public Enemy is the best movie since I arrived in Melbourne, Johnny Depp was so cool… ~~ Yong Tofu was deliciously spicy..reminds me of bakso.. T_T..and the bubble tea was black and yummy… hahahhaha….

I’m looking forward to hang out we you guys again….
