MC Joe Mousepad has joined forces with some of the finest in Glitch Hop. The collaborations include ill-esha, Knowa Knowone, Freddy Todd and many more! Each track brings a unique flavour to the table. We have the funk, the grime, the wobble, old breaks sounds just to name a few.

A lot of people know I have been on a huge glitch hop kick as well as a new found love for hip hop. This album really fuses several genres together and will be able to find its way into any music lovers playlist. It has tracks from several of my favourite producers at the moment.

The tracks by Miroslav Losonsky and J.me.J are my fav on this album! I still have a big love for any track that brings on the funk!

So since May is NF (Neurofibromatosis) Awareness month I just wanted to share my story. NF is a gentic disorder.

Neurofibromatosis is a condition of the nervous system- It causes tumors to grow on nerve tissue, producing skin and bone abnormalities. There is NO CURE. Tumors can be removed but it is not always so simple.

In my case I have been very lucky to have what would be considered a mild case of NF. I broke my leg 4 times when I was younger and I had to wear a leg brace for a years. When I was 12 I have a bone graph done on my leg to remove the cyst that was causing the problems.

I get tumors called “neurofibromas” all over my body. In fact I have one right in my nose that I’m going to have removed in just a few days. Having this has caused a lot of people to judge me. I have been called ugly, deformed, disgusting, retarded, stupid, slow, hideous, and sorts of other names. I’ve had people post my pictures on facebook saying nasty things about me. I even had someone make a website about me. All because I look a little “different.” While some people with NF experience some learning difficulties I do not have that part of the disorder.

I am not looking for attention. In fact I am looking for the opposite. I am still a HUMAN BEING and I deserve to be treated like one. I just want people to become aware of how they judge people for how they look. Just because someone has a tumor in their nose (or anywhere else) does not mean they are “slow” or “stupid”. I can’t count how many times people have spoke to me in a slow, dumbed down tone. So what I am saying here, just treat people with these tumors like you treat “normal looking” people. (I use quotations because what the heck is normal anyways?)

I would love for people to learn a bit more about my disorder and to understand that everyone should be treated equally. Open your eyes and stop being brainwashed by what the media tells you people have to look like. If you see someone that looks a little “different” you should take time to get to know them before you judge them. Otherwise it is your loss for not knowing some pretty amazing people.

I have never known so many people who just accepted me for me automatically, no questions asked. Even though I don’t go to parties very often I still feel very loved and respected. I will never forget how you have all made me feel. You all know who you are! You are my second family.

One of the up and coming lady’s in bass, CloZee is dropping a new EP today! Two tracks of lush glitch hop infused with some good ol dubstep.

In “Jafump”, CloZee lays some futuristic pads over some chill style bass. Filled with haunting melodies and tribal style beats. mix in the strings and you’ve got yourself a bad ass track. If there was a track to play when you happen to have to talk over a mile of hot coals for some crazy tribal initiation, this is it.

LF features the vocals of LF over mid-evil style guitars. I am usually not into to warble sounding dubstep but this track actually does it for me! The drops mix in the right amount of vocals with in your face bass.

My fav tune off the album is the first one, “Only if for a Night” (Samples Remix) Really loving the beats in this one. Another tune that you can run through the Amazon to. I already love Florence and the Machine but this takes the love a bit higher!

The entire release is pretty solid with tons of catchy vocals, chill time pads and bad ass bass. You can really hear the hip hop influences in these tracks! So now head over to the bandcamp and download this! You don’t get a much better price than free :P
