The show I look forward to the most out of all the Fashion Weeks has been Saint Laurent. Ever since they dropped the "Yves" and appointed Hedi Slimane as their designer, I've been in love with the collections. It isn't, however, the traditional Yves Saint Laurent everyone has been used to, but at the same time, what do you expect from Hedi Slimane? The new collection did have some lovely leather pieces and is much more androgynous than past collections, but overall, last season was better. And the season before that.

Songstress M.I.A. isn't the usual Fashion Week face, although I'm sure she gets plenty of invites. This week, however, M.I.A. was spotted in Paris Fashion Week on her way to Balenciaga's Spring/Summer show. She also let slip some very interesting information: she's collaborating with Donatella Versace. While it's currently speculated the collaboration will be for Versace's sister brand Versus, which has seen quite a few guest designers, the collaboration will no doubt be epic. M.I.A. also did mention the line would be released in two weeks. Now whether the actual line will be available or if it will just be officially announced, we just don't know. More information in two weeks for sure though.

New York Fashion Week wrapped up this week with the usual suspects present at every major show. NYFW isn't the most impressing when it comes to all of the fashion weeks. New York has a very tailored and classic approach. Being safe with tailored separates was the norm pretty much everyday. The shots above, however, stood out the most. Still very tailored, but fun prints and accessories made the outfits stand out much more. London Fashion Week is up next.

My brand of the moment For Love and Lemons released a new lookbook for their collection entitled "Interview With A Vampire." I'm basically obsessed with it. All the lace and velvet, dark lips and black velvet chokers, not to mention the model is absolutely stunning! With all the items starting at around $150 though, the price can be a bit over bearing, even though I've already bought the Vienna dress (the one in the fourth photo). All the dresses are to die for and you can actually shop them every Thursday at the For Love and Lemons store in Downtown Los Angeles. It's been a while, but finally an all girl group that's really worthy of being a bunch of foxy muses. Meet the band Haim, the beautiful union between three equally beautiful sisters: Este, Danielle and Alana Haim. While these Los Angeles natives have garnered quite a bit of attention for their looks and style, their music is what's really pushed them out into the spotlight this festival season. They opened for Phoenix on their tour earlier this year and are playing the Austin City Limits, iTunes and Treasure Island music festivals. What I really love about them though, is there's at least one always wearing Dr. Martens and all three don the unofficial Haim uniform of ripped jeans, head-to-toe black, dark lipstick and sleeveless tee's. Oh, and leather. Lots of leather. And how can you not adore three girls like that?

Right around this time of the year, when it's over 100 degrees and too hot to function, I start longing for winter. It's this time when my jackets suddenly look so gorgeous. Just hanging there, crying out to me. And I miss them. I just bought a denim jacket and destroyed the hell out of it. Then I put a patch that says "Eat Shit and Diet" on it, and just wait for the temperature to drop even the slightest so I can have any excuse to wear it. And for some reason lately I've been wanting a black faux fur goat hair coat. The kind that Jarvis Cocker wore in his Harry Potter cameo. Anyways, it seems tumblr agrees with me, since the only posts I've been putting on the tumblr blog are all about jackets: custom or otherwise.

So if you haven't heard 3.1 Phillip Lim is finally debuting his collection for Target next Sunday September 15th. The full collection has been released on Target.com, although you obviously can't buy anything until next weekend. Kind of like internet window shopping. Anyways, the collection has some pretty pieces for girls, but the guys pieces are what I'm really jealous over. The perfect motorcycle jacket and sweaters have been reserved for guys, although I'm not sure whether or not the chelsea boots are unisex or not. I honestly don't care, I plan to buy them either way.

For Love & Lemons has a new lookbook out starring our Muse Chloe Norgaard and all her rainbow brite hair. While I love Chloe Norgaard and I am in love/obsessed with the brand For Love & Lemons, the lookbook highlights more of Chloe's lovely aspects instead of their amazing clothes. The clothes are really amazing. Kinda pricey, but amazing.

I know I don't usually post guy anything, but this lookbook really illustrates what I've been thinking lately. I had a conversation last night about how a guys style can really take him far in life. Even if he has other qualities about him that aren't necessarily positive, good style can seriously take a guy far. With female styles, there are so many trends happening at the same time and so many girls think they're the ones with style when it's just impossible to measure. Guys on the other hand either have style, or they don't.

Free People has a lovely new lookbook out called "Rambling Rose." I'm really not going to spend time trying to decipher what rambling rose means, but instead just drool over Free People's amazing layering. Some good street style shots for summer are getting hard to find. I think layering is really where people show off their "skills" but it can definitely be difficult with the heat. Long flowing skirts always go off well, especially when you can drape it nicely with an oversized shirt, which seems impossible to do unless you're a size 0. As far as overalls, which are pretty big for summer, I bought a good vintage Calvin Klein pair, but after having it sit in my closet for a while, it went back onto the market. I do love overalls, don't get me wrong, but you have to really have an effortless "put together" look to make sure it looks cool and new. Not boring and put together. I'd rather not be sporting a trend if it's going to look boring on me. Eh.

The thing I really hate about summer (especially in LA) is it gets so freaking hot that sometimes I feel no need whatsoever to make an attempt at a good outfit. My sweaty palms are turned off by rings and bracelets and my kimonos lie unused. I think about putting on some boots and then think "why would I cover up my feet at all?" Normally what I would call laziness is just overtaken by the heat. Hopefully you're not feeling the same and will use these photos as some great inspiration for your summer outfits.

An exciting new collaboration to announce! H&M is teaming up with Parisian designer Isabel Marant for a new Fall collection. Like Marni and Versace in the past, the collection will have an exclusive release date and be available both online and in stores. Although the exact release date hasn't been announced, we can pretty much bet on an October date, since H&M has chosen that month several times in the past. I can really never get enough of leather. Leather shorts, jackets, skirts, dresses, hats, whatever. It's just something that adds a little bit of an edge to any outfit. Leather is just one of those staples that seems to never go away. Every year or so a new leather item becomes in season, like the leather baseball hat this year and the leather shirt last year. Anyways, I know I can always rely on a leather item to stay in season every year and always give a good look. The only downside is dry cleaning. It can be expensive and such a pain in the ass.

This week's Muse is Kelly Osbourne. She definitely deserves the title for more than several reasons. She's one of the few girls still totally rockin' lilac hair like it was a brand new thing. Osbourne even makes grey hair look totally desirable. Not to mention her arm candy and recent fiance Matthew Mosshart (brother of The Kills' Alison Mosshart). She includes Alexa Chung, Kate Moss and Leigh Lezark as close friends, oh, and of course, is the daughter of Ozzy Osbourne. Everyone forgets that a lot, she's the daughter of a rock god. I think I'll stop the list at that, it's reason enough to be anyone's Muse.
