Maternity Stocking

In order to avoid edema during pregnancy, a pregnant woman should wear maternity stockings and use low-heeled shoes.Avoid salty foods and junk food as much as possible. Drink a lot of fluids. Exercise or walking is also advisable. Try to elevate your feet at night when you go to sleep.

Another benefit in wearing maternity stockings is to prevent the enlargement of veins which is normally caused by both hormonal changes and the uterus exerting pressure on the veins of your legs. The pregnant woman should also put the legs up when she can and avoid standing for long periods.

I just started wearing maternity stockings last night. I only wear it when I'm at home.

Connecting Fight to USA

Trip to America - - - That’s gonna be my next destination. Oh how I love to travel! The only thing I don’t like about traveling is the cold AC of the plane. Couple months ago I had an ultrasound to know the gender of my baby and the doctor said it's 80% because it was not yet totally visible. And today, hubby and I went to Chong Hua Hospital for my second ultrasound and it was visible, 100% babygirl! We requested the 3D ultrasound instead so we can see the clear copy feature of the baby and baby Arianna has long nose (tangos)! That's what Im wishing for, to have a tisay babygirl. The result also says that the size of our baby is 2weeks bigger than normal size!(utong jud kog ayo ani). We are glad that the body parts are intact and complete. The position is also right and ready to come out! I hope and pray for a healthy baby girl. We are looking forward for normal delivery also.

Driving Manually

I finally got a chance to drive after six years of no driving. I had a driving lesson before for 10days, one hour per day. But have never driven since. I have a driver's license and had renewed it twice already but no courage to drive at all. I only drive when there is no car in front/back and both sides. I'm so scared to drive. I can only drive a mountain bike even on the highway or even if so many cars no problem.

Today, I had to face my fear. I tried driving today with the help of my instructor, my loving husband. I forgot what I have learned 6 years ago. I'm back to zero, need a full refresh in driving. It didn't last that long only 15minutes because I started getting high body temperature. We enjoyed the day though. It's a manual driving so for me it's not that easy. I said to myself before that I'll only drive if the car is automatic.

My last post was Wednesday, and now its already Friday and yet I don't have any sponsored posts... why? Just for one reason, really bad connection (so slow). As much as I want to have a faster connection, I can't because I'm in a bad location. Can't avail the DSL because it's beyond the span and also the facilities of PLDT is not enough to cater all their clients(they only have fiber optic in my area, for landline phone only not for DSL). Anyway, last night I saw two good opps (white and green)..I tried to get them but the loading was really slow so instead of trying again for the third time, I rather closed my eyes and sleep. A little girl had been shopping with her Mom in Target. She must have been 6 years old, this beautiful red haired, freckle faced image of innocence. It was pouring outside. The kind of rain that gushes over the top of rain gutters, so much in a hurry to hit the earth it has no time to flow down the spout. We all stood there under the awning and just inside the door of the Target.

We w aited, some patiently, others irritated because nature messed up their hurried day. I am always mesmerized by rainfall. I got lost in the sound and sight of the heavens washing away the dirt and dust of the world. Memories of running, splashing so carefree as a child came pouring in as a welcome reprieve from the worries of my day.

The little voice was so sweet as it broke the hypnotic trance we were all caught in 'Mom let's run through the rain,' she said.
'What?' Mom asked.

'Lets run through the rain!' She repeated

'No, honey. We'll wait until it slows down a bit,' Mom replied.

This young child waited about another minute and repeated: 'Mom, let's run through the rain,'

'We'll get soaked if we do,' Mom said.

'No, we won't, Mom.. That's not what you said this morning,' the young girl said as she tugged at her Mom's arm.

This morning? When did I say we could run through the rain and not get wet?

'Don't yo u remember? When y ou were talking to Daddy about his cancer , you said, 'If God can get us through this, he can get us through anything!'

The entire crowd stopped dead silent. I swear you couldn't hear anything but the rain. We all stood silently. No one came or left in the next few minutes.
Mom paused and thought for a moment about what she would say. Now some would laugh it off and scold her for being silly. Some might even ignore what was said. But this was a moment of affirmation in a young child's life. A time when innocent trust can be nurtured so that it will bloom into faith.

'Honey, you are absolutely right. Let's run through the rain. If GOD let's us get wet, well maybe we just needed washing,' Mom said.

Then off they ran. We all stood watching, smiling and laughing as they darted past the cars and yes, through the puddles. They held their shopping bags over their heads just in case. They got soaked. But they were followed by a few who screamed an d laughed like chi ldren all the way to their cars.

And yes, I did. I ran. I got wet. I needed washing.

Circumstances or people can take away your material possessions, they can take away your money, and they can take away your health. But no one can ever take away your precious memories....So, don't forget to make time and take the opportunities to make memories everyday. To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven.
I HOPE YOU STILL TAKE THE TIME TO RUN THROUGH THE RAIN.

Right after I gave birth to my first child, I tend to forget everything : simple words , names of a person, date of events, stories that being told to me, or even a single thing that I put in a corner I easily forgot where did I place it after few seconds that I just hold it. Yeah, sometimes I’m scared what was going on to me. I hope I wont develop the disease called Alzheimer. I first heard this kind of disease on TV health news, movies and in real life. A friend of mine asked me some bucks few years ago because she had to move to other island to take care of his brother having an Alzheimer’s disease. Sleep Marathon

I might be wide awake till dawn tonight because I had long sleep last night. I started to close my eyes at 11:00 PM and I woke up for thirty minutes in the morning for breakfast and got back to sleep and woke up at 12noon. That was twelve and half hours of sleep!

That's not healthy though. Sleep marathon is not my forte because that's waste of time and when I sleep I have these weird dreams. Different adventures, some are bad and some are good. Sometimes, I don't understand why I have this or that kind of dream. It might be from the movies I watched or advance thoughts that I formulated in my mind. I don't know. I just don't want to have bad dreams.

My personal favorite is the cuff links which comes with a watch on it. No need to wear a watch when you have these. Watches aren’t comfortable to wear with formal shirts anyways. But you will have to choose for yourself…..Good luck!!
