Mom got a letter from her school reunion group and she's got a whole new resolve to drop those 10# that seemed to creep back on. &amp;nbsp;I'm not so resolved yet. &amp;nbsp;It takes a lot longer time to heal from the loss of a loved one than I ever thought.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
So, how do you do it if you're already overweight? &amp;nbsp;With weight gain, you also get sleep problems, due to the way the body has to adjust so it can keep functioning. Things that interrupt sleep include:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Snoring&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Tingling in limbs&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Pain in extremities&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Sleep apnea&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;div&gt;Sleep apnea is a fairly common sleep disorder in which your breathing temporarily stops during sleep due to blockage of the upper airways. &amp;nbsp;As you gain more weight, the likelihood that sleep apnea will increase (especially if you sleep with a pillow), for the simple reason that there's more bulk pressing down on your neck and closing your airway.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Tingling in the limbs (not to be confused with RLS, Restless Leg Syndrome) is generally caused from the extra bulk of the body cutting off the circulation from the limb. &amp;nbsp;This generally happens in arms, for people who sleep on their sides.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Pain in extremities also happens from lack of circulation. &amp;nbsp;It's simply the body's way of letting you know that lack of blood to the hands and feet is not a good idea. &amp;nbsp;:)&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Snoring is&amp;nbsp;is the vibration of respiratory structures and the resulting sound, due to obstructed air movement during breathing while sleeping. &amp;nbsp;Snoring can be caused by lots of things, but one of the important ones to examine is that fat in and around the neck, combined with throat muscle weakness commonly makes snoring. &amp;nbsp;Not only does it impact your ability to sleep, but the people who sleep near you can't get a good night's rest either.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

There is such a tiny amount (or none) of the original substance that it's like taking water. There's speculation that homeopathics work on the same quantum physics principles as nanotechnology, but it's still speculation.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&amp;nbsp;HCG is *always* in our systems, both men and women. It's hard for me to accept the statement, logically, that HCG (Rx or Homeopathic) is going to increase cancer cells like this. However! I will look into it and get more information about it, then get back to you.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Basically, losses are much slower than when on VLCD, but I'm zeroing in on a combination of those super foods that allow me to continue losing while on interrupt, with greater food variety. &amp;nbsp;The coolest part? &amp;nbsp;It's developing into a new diet concept! &amp;nbsp;How would a cycle like this sound to you?&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
So, what on earth (or any other planet) am I doing?? &amp;nbsp;I'm testing the congruency of cycles of human body, The Fibbonacci Sequence, and HHCG Steps. &lt;br /&gt;

Just to review:&lt;br /&gt;
I'm testing out a  new thing I've developed and it's going very well.&amp;nbsp; I'm making my own  homeopathic HCG with a different potency level (LM), intended to work on a  different "level" of body.&amp;nbsp; I've taken to calling the process the "Steps Program."&amp;nbsp; In fact, I  moved to Step 4 yesterday and saw a 3.2# drop today and it's day 21 of  VLCD!&amp;nbsp; In fact, up until I got a cold/flu thing, I was averaging 1.3#  per day, and Mom was averaging .9# per day.&amp;nbsp; Those are significant when  you compare them to our pre-StepsTesting averages of .9#/day (me) and  .4#/day (Mom).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
With those kinds of numbers, I think I may just extend this  round until I can't stand it any more.&amp;nbsp; I suspect that will be a while,  if I can keep the numbers up like this.&amp;nbsp; lol.&amp;nbsp; That's a real motivator  to remain on Protocol.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
But when you're sick, you've just got to feed your body extra vitamins. &amp;nbsp;You also just have to take care of some of the symptoms like coughing and dry throat so you can alleviate *some* of the misery.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So far, no one has come up with an answer to being ill and still stay on Protocol. &amp;nbsp;Even Dr. Simeon suggested that you take an interrupt should you become ill.&lt;br /&gt;

Historically, I experience  very low blood sugar (including the shakes and everything!) and have to  eat SOMETHING fast. I try to grab a protein in those cases, but it  doesn't always work. &lt;blockquote&gt;Proteins, and even fats, are fat destroyer foods. &amp;nbsp;Put them in the company of carbohydrates and they switch roles. &amp;nbsp;A protein or fat calorie, paired with a carbohydrate calorie, makes two fat producing calories.&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;One carbohydrate calorie can change the life style of ten and even twenty calories. &amp;nbsp;In other words, if you are destroying your fat with 2,500 protein calories a day and you let 100 carbo-cals creep in, you will probably gain instead of lose.&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;You are better off eating 3,000 protein and fat calories. &amp;nbsp;You will in all likelihood continue to lose. &amp;nbsp;But let your carbo-cal guard down for just one beer and your fat destroyer foods are now geared to put he poundage on instead of take it off.&lt;/blockquote&gt;That's pretty close in, when you consider how many calories are in a &lt;a href="http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/baked-products/4838/2"&gt;single slice of toast&lt;/a&gt;, for instance. &amp;nbsp;65 calories. &amp;nbsp;So, if you wanted to have a sandwich (two slices of bread), that would put you over the 100 carbo-calories and you'd be stuck gaining weight that day!&lt;br /&gt;

I don't really anticipate it helping while I'm using Tiger Balm, but it does stay within my "rules" designed when I first started this round.&lt;br /&gt;

In the most strict sense, even sugar-free chewing gum is a no-no. The reason is that all sugar-free sweeteners, save for &lt;a href="http://www.amazon.com/NOW-Foods-Extract-Packets-Twinpack/dp/B001E5E1KA?ie=UTF8&amp;amp;tag=lessofme-20&amp;amp;link_code=btl&amp;amp;camp=213689&amp;amp;creative=392969" target="_blank"&gt;stevia&lt;/a&gt;&lt;img alt="" border="0" height="1" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=lessofme-20&amp;amp;l=btl&amp;amp;camp=213689&amp;amp;creative=392969&amp;amp;o=1&amp;amp;a=B001E5E1KA" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important; padding: 0px !important;" width="1" /&gt;, are still derived from sugar and have the same effect on a person's blood sugar.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
That being said, there's lots of people who do just fine with sugar-free sweeteners *during* P2.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It's the after part that it becomes a little bit dicey. The hypothalamus doesn't properly reset if you "cheat" with sugar-free thingies like that and you get stuck with the weight generally coming back.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
That, of course, just means you'll be doing the whole round over again. :(&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

I've not run into anyone personally who has used hypnosis at all, let alone in conjunction with HCG. &amp;nbsp;Perhaps it must be time to add it to the testing roster? &amp;nbsp;lol.&lt;br /&gt;
