In this step, I customize the Final “Welcome” Email by adding the subscriber name, changing the text, adding blogging tips blog link, and adding some of blog articles link. It is obvious that the subscriber name adding is for personal touch and the blogging tips blog link for awareness. The article links adding is for marketing purpose. Here, how I do it:

Step #4. Unsubscribe Success Page Customization

In this step, I customize the Unsubscribe Success Page by changing the words and adding the blogging tips blog link. I add the blogging tips blog link so the unsubscriber know that they are unsubscribing from Blogging Tips Blog newsletter. Here how to do it:

Blogging means each related blog activities such as blog content writing, blog commenting, blog marketing, social networking, etc. Of course, to start the blogging, a blog is mandatory. Without a blog, there is no meaning of the blogging. It can be said there is no blogging at all without a blog. It means that a blog is the core of blogging. However, beside the blog as core, there are many stuffs that involved in the entire blogging as I mentioned before such as blog content writing, blog commenting, blog marketing, social networking, and many others.

The Must Have Blogging Miscellaneous Stuffs

One of the type of the involved stuff is that I called as blogging miscellaneous stuff. Blogging miscellaneous stuff is the complementary tiny stuff which usually only work as decorative purpose which means the blogging still can be done normally without these miscellaneous stuffs. However, base on my experience, it seems there are some blogging miscellaneous stuffs that become important for blogging itself. The stuffs are important so without it, the blogging result is decreased significantly. Here I share three blogging miscellaneous stuffs that categorized as important for blogging:

#1. Blog Logo

Blog Logo is important these days to distinguish our blog from the crowd. Blog Logo acts as our blog unique marks or brand image. Blog Logo also can act as our online signature for each of our online activities. A well design Blog Logo may improve our blog reputation around the blogosphere. In contrary, our blog may be not taken seriously by the readers if there is no blog logo available. The blog logo tells the internet communities that we are really serious about our blog. The blog logo is really significant for a blog these days – Base on my experience, even the simplest blog logo is enough to make a difference.

#2. Favicon

Favicon is the tiny picture that shown up side-by-side with our blog title in web browser. Favicon is also shown up in RSS feed list. As Blog Logo, Favicon is a way to stand out from the crowd. Favicon surely offers a uniqueness for the blog so can be recognized in the list with ton of other blogs. Base on my experience, a good quality unique Favicon can increase the awareness of a blog around blogosphere. A blog success is always depended on the blog brand awareness around the internet which means that the favicon is very important these days for a blog.

#3. Gravatar

Avatar is a tiny picture that act as our online marks. The avatar acts as our identity in the internet for each of our online activities such as commenting or article writing. However, and traditional avatar is static which means we need to upload the picture to each of the website in where we do our internet activities. This situation is not feasible for bloggers since blogging is involved a ton of website. It is impossible to upload avatar picture to that so many of website. Therefor the Gravatar which offers anywhere avatar is the answer for this easy avatar integrating need. Gravatar associate the avatar picture with the email address. It means that By inserting an email address, we also integrate our avatar (internet ID) in it.

How To Integrate AdSense For Search With Atahualpa WordPress Blog

AdSense for search is interesting Google AdSense to be tried as another source of Google AdSense revenue. I found that AdSense for search can be effective to increase our Google AdSense Revenue for the certain niche. I experienced in another blog of mine how great AdSense for Search as additional income source. Therefore I am trying the AdSense for Search for this blogging tips blog to improve this blog revenue. For your information, this blog revenue from Google AdSense is quite low. I even think that Google AdSense is truly not match with blogging niche as many other bloggers said.

Step #1. Create A New Widget Area

I create new widget area in above of the blog post area which shown-up in homepage and in single post. You can see the step-by-step tutorial how to add this needed new widget area in Atahualpa WordPress Theme Configuration Part 6 . Please be aware that we need to remove the if (is_single ())from the code if want to show up the search engine in homepage as well as in single page. Also that, the codes is inserted into the very above of “Content ABOVE the LOOP” box area.

Step #2. Get the Search AdSense Code

Log into Google AdSense account
Click “AdSense Setup” tab in above
Click “AdSense for Search” link
Fill the information box base on our needs
Click “Continue” button
Choose the search box looks
Fill the characters long for search box
Click “Continue” button
Choose the place in where the search result will be shown up
Choose the position of the search result
Choose the looks (layout) of the search result
Click “Continue” button
Check the additional Terms box
Fill the Search Box name
Click “Submit and Get Code” button
Copy The “Search Box Code” and “Search Result Code”

Step #3. Integrate AdSense for Search into Atahualpa WordPress Blog

Log into WordPress admin page
Go to “Appearance” area and click it
Click “Widgets” link
Drag “Text” into “Upper Post Widget”
Paste the “Search Box Code” into it
Click “Save” button

Google AdSense is surely all about experiment. There are no exact strategies that work for each website or blog. It is a must to do our own experiment to find the best Google AdSense strategy for our blog. Since it is our home, the website is a serious matters. The lay out as well as the content should create seriously. If possible, we should hire the professional to create the website so the website is really standout if compare with other websites.

However it is surely costly to hire the professional to create a website. It is okay for big company which has big budget but for personal or home business, it is surely too much. Therefore, it is needed another way (answer) for personal and home business website. Hpage is surely the answer for this need. Log into area page by using our account
Click on “Design” on the left area

There are three types of design available to be chose which are:

Design Template This is the easiest way since we only need to pick one of the ready web design and no need the hard customization or coding work any more. However, it means we must accept whatever the template offers and there is no room for our creativity.

Customizable Design This is a good choice if we want to have a different looks or layout but do not want to spend your time to do coding. Customizable Design offers easy customization for the design without coding. As example, we can change the design color base on our needs.

Own Design As the name, It means we create our own design from scratch. For this, a good coding knowledge (at least for HTML) is a must. Own Design offers unlimited possibilities to design our website. In other words, the limitation is only our creativity and of course, the coding knowledge.

Since I am new, I choose to use Design Template to create my website in this hpage. And it is really easy. For the website content, we can easily create it by using the default editor. As example, we can create the Welcome page content by using the default editor very fast. In five minutes, the website is ready and it is not only a website but a great look website. It is a great looks website, isn’t it? Of course, I need to do some work before the website is ready to launch officially. How To Write Programming Codes Within The WordPress Blog Post

Sometimes, we need to write some programming codes in our blog post – especially if we write the how-to or tutorial blog post. Since this blogging tips blog niche is blogging tips, I often write about blogging related how-to or tutorial blog post which means I often need to include some programming codes within the blog post. Before, I use the tag of WordPress to integrate the programming codes into the blog post but it seems can not work perfectly. Sometimes, the codes that I integrated in blog post do not behave like codes at all.

It is because WordPress automatically convert the programming codes base on its function. It is also that some code characters are missing during the blog post saving and publishing process because of the conversion process. It is quite a challenge for me who often write the blogging related how-to or tutorial. There are many programming codes that I must integrate into blog post for sake of detail information. As I said, the tag that I usually does not work as I need.

Therefore, I did some little research to found how the best way to integrate programming codes within a WordPress blog post. And I found it! I am really grateful that I used WordPress as my blogging platform for it. It is because WordPress always has the answer for almost every customizing needs. And it is proven again for this programming codes writing issue. I get the answer how the perfect way to integrate programming codes within WordPress blog post very fast.

Here, I share the answers that I found about how to WordPress programming codes writing within the blog post:

Answer #1. Using `Tag`


 tag is the HTML tag that tell WordPress to distinguish text that is computer code from normal writing style. In other word,  tag tells WordPress that we intend to write the programming codes so WordPress should use the determined code styles for it.

Answer #2. Using  Tag.
 tag is the HTML tag that set the programming codes aside. This tag makes the programming codes looks like inside a single special box or container.  tag tell web browser to use monospace code font and exactly reproduce whatever is inside the tag such as space or line break.
Answer #3. Using HTML Character Entities.
HTML character entities is a set of special codes that produce the needed HTML or others programming characters such as “<” or “>”.  Without use the HTML character entities, It is impossible to write certain HTML characters (such as “<” or “>”) because WordPress will automatically convert it. Styling the  and

It seems Big Google really try to optimize Gmail to new level these days. I say that since not so long after integrate the Gmail Voice Call, Google puts another new feature into Gmail which is Gmail “Priority Inbox” feature. “Priority Inbox” feature is intended to put the important message up top. It is more like to highlight the certain messages that classified as important messages. The highlight process filter is done automatically by Gmail “Priority Inbox”. However, Gmail users is allowed to customize the “Priority Inbox” base on categories.
It means that Gmail users can choose their favorite categories to be shown in the most top of Gmail Messages – to highlight the message on those chosen categories as most important messages. Once this “Priority Inbox” is enabled, A “Priority Inbox” link will appear above of regular Inbox which means it is easy to switch back to the regular Inbox if needed. Gmail users also can choose whether the “Priority Inbox” or regular Inbox as default when sign-in to Gmail account. To enjoy this service, Gmail users need to click on the link of this feature that appears in their Gmail page – at the left side-bar to be precise. The Gmail “Priority Inbox” link is labeled as “New! Priority Inbox”.
The “Priority Inbox” activation link should be already appeared in some of Gmail accounts. For some other Gmail acounts, the link may appear in a couple of weeks. It is said that “Priority Inbox” feature works by using certain set of algorithm that work together to analyze the Gmail users behaviour in Email reading.  It means that “Priority Inbox” will take a deep look of your Email reading behaviour and decide what kind/type of message that should mark as important messages. As example, the messages thread that you read often or some type of messages that you response quickly will be “marked” as important by “Priority Inbox” filter.

We can use the plus and minus buttons on top of the page to tell Google that the messages is less important so should take out from the “Priority Inbox”. In my opinion, This new Gmail feature is very useful to combat the Email messages overload so the most important Email messages is never missed. In not so long time ago, I had written about one of the Google failure story in the Google Wave is Officially Over blog post. In the comment form discussion, I agreed that Google is a big online company that will surely use the failure experience as learning steps and then move to another project fast – whether it is really a new or additional project. Now, the opinion is proven. Google launched the Gmail Phone Calls as their latest service. As in the name, Gmail Phone Calls is the phone calls service which integrated within Gmail.
Gmail Phone Calls allows Gmail users to make phone calls direct from their Gmail account. This Gmail Phone Calls service is officially called as Calls from Gmail but I like to called it as Gmail Phone Calls since more make sense for me. As first step, Gmail Phone Calls available only for  Gmail users in United States of America (USA) and Canada. This latest service from Google offers free calls for USA and Canada phone number – at least until the end of this year. Beside that, Gmail Phone Calls offers low rates phone calls to Europe, China, and Japan – also for almost the rest of international calls. As said in Gmail official blog, Gmail Phone Calls service is the part of the Google’s computer-to-computer voice and video chat service. You can find this service within your Gmail account, in the Chat section box, in the left. You just need to click the “Call Phone” part to launch this Gmail Phone Calls service. It seems Google want to make Gmail become center of the online communication with the entire integrated online communication application such as Email service itself, Gtalk, Google Buzz, and now — the Gmail Phone Calls.
Gmail Phone Calls service surely use the Voice Over Internet Prototcol (VoIP) technology to be able to offer such low international call charging. It seems this VoIP technology is developed by Google after the Gizmoz5 VoIP company acquisition in November last year. With this latest move, Google officially become direct competitor of new media companies such as Skype  as well as the traditional phone operators such as Verizon. It is interesting to find how this move result in future after it is applied world-wide. Is it another Google Failure or Success story?

We are back to Atahualpa WordPress Theme Configuration blog post series again. For your information, the Atahualpa WordPress Theme Configuration is a blog post series about how I customize the Atahualpa WordPress theme in this blogging tips blog. I tell the Atahualpa Theme customizing in step by step through this blog post series. It can be said that the Atahualpa WordPress Theme Configuration is the complete step by step Atahualpa WordPress Theme tutorial.

This time, as like in part 6, I still write about how I use the widgetizing feature of Atahualpa WordPress theme here. At the previous Atahualpa WordPress theme configuration blog post, you should already know that Atahualpa WordPress theme is very easy to widgetize. Easy widgetizing means that we can integrate new widget area in every part of Atahualpa freely in very easy way. If in previous blog post I wrote about how to integrate the widget in above of each blog post area, this time I write about how to integrate the widget in below of header area.
This new widget area is perfect for advertising area since the area above the header is very obvious for blog readers also that this area is shown second after the header. It means that this area will get maximum exposure. I, my self, integrate the new widget area right in below of header because want to integrate the OIO Publisher banner ads zone in it. OK, let’s  start the core business – the Atahualpa WordPress Theme Configuration step by step to integrate new widget area in below of header.
Prepare The Code
Since this new widget area will be shown not limited to blog post only or home page only, it is no need to put the “is_single” in the new widget area code like in previous widgetizing. Here the complete code for this time widgetizing:




The Widget Creation
In this widget creation part, we will integrate the prepared code into Atahualpa Theme so the widget will be shown in below of header area. Here the step by step how to do it:

Copy the prepared code


 Log in to WordPress admin page


 Go To “Appearance” and click it


 Click “Atahualpa Theme Options”


 Go To “Header” area


 Click “Style & edit HEADER AREA”


 In the “Configure Header Area”, paste the prepared code in very below of the box



Click “Save Changes” button to apply this new widget area

The Checking
In this the checking part, we ensure whether the “Below Header Widget” has been created successfully and ready to use. We can check this new created widget area in the widget admin area in very easy steps as below:

 Go To “Appearance” and click it


 Click “Widgets”


 Check at the widget bar area whether the new widget has been created

You can see that the newest created widget area is named as the “Below Header Widget” (in red box)

Each blogger usually tend to optimize the search engine as blog traffic source. It is because search engine can drive a lot of traffic to blog if optimized in right way. In my opinion, WordPress become the most used blogging platform because of this Search Engine Optimization (SEO) factor. It is well-known that WordPress is the most SEO friendly blogging platform available – especially for Google search engine optimization.
The default WordPress is already good enough to gain good present in search engine and it is even better with so many free and paid SEO WordPress plugin available that can be used for more optimization such as All in One SEO Pack (AIO) or Platinum SEO which I already wrote about in this blogging tips blog.
STT 2 SEO WordPress Plugin for Search Engine Keyword Optimization
Now, I will share another great SEO WordPress plugin that can help increase our blog traffic from search engine fast. If read the title, you should already knew the WordPress plugin that I will write about. Yes, it is the SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 (STT 2) WordPress plugin. SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 (STT 2) is a free SEO WordPress plugin that I already tried by my self. . Base on my experience, SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 can help to boost the blog’s search engine traffic very fast.
It is because STT 2 optimize the search engine keywords (terms) by creating the interlinking between search engine keywords (terms) with our blog content and integrate it automatically. We can choose to integrate the keyword-blog content interlinking inside our blog post or in our blog widget area. By integrating the keyword-blog content interlinking, means that our blog content has the keyword that proven to be searched through Google search engine.
How this STT2 SEO WordPress plugin works is almost as same as one of my keyword optimization method. The different is only that The STT 2 WordPress plugin integrate the keyword directly and automatically right in the blog content. It can be said this STT 2 SEO WordPress plugin works as the real-time proven search engine keywords (terms) creator for a blog. However, there is a big question about this STT 2 SEO method: “Is this SEO method safe?”
Is STT2 SEO WordPress Plugin’s SEO Method Safe?
It is true that this STT2 keyword-blog content interlinking method is in big question whether the method is the safe SEO method or not. It is because the SEO keyword-blog post interlinking method may look like the keyword stuffing (which are grouped in the black hat SEO technique) – especially if the result is integrated within the blog post. Keyword stuffing (as far as I know) is  stuffing the high-searched non-related keyword into the blog content. Keyword stuffing always involves the massive number of keyword.
Therefore, from the keyword stuffing terms above, the STT 2 method is the safe SEO method in my opinion. It is because the keyword-blog content interlinking usually is the related keyword to the blog post content also the number of the keyword that integrated to blog content is not massive – limited indeed.  I really believe that this keyword-blog content interlinking SEO technique is the safe SEO method – especially if we only integrate the result in widget area only.
However, SEO SearchTerm Tagging 2 (STT 2) may be in the gray SEO method area so there is still a risk included when use it. Therefore if you are not sure about it, please do not use it at all. I, my self, have tried the blog post integrated feature in my another blog and my blog is still safe so far.
Does The STT 2 Keyword-Blog Content Interlinking Method Really Work?
So far, STT 2 keyword-blog content interlinking method really work great to boost the search engine traffic in my another 4 months blog. You can see how great the traffic improving in picture below:

Please be noted that I start to use STT 2 SEO WordPress plugin in the second month (start from the end of 2010-06). You can see that before I use the STT 2 (in the red box), the blog traffic is in slow growth and then the blog traffic start grow fast after I use the STT 2 (in the green box). As for your information, this blog traffic is 80 percent from Search Engine since I optimized the blog as search engine base blog.
How To Install SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 (STT 2)
OK, since the both of the risk and result already present, now you turn is to make decision whether still want to use it or not. If decide to not use it, you can stop read here. However, if decide to go on, let’s start to install it. Here how to install this SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 (STT 2):

Log in to WordPress Admin Page


 Go to “Plugins” area and click it


 Click “Add New” button in above


 Use “SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2” as keyword in “Search Plugins” box


 Click “Search Plugins” button


 Click “Install Now” link in “SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2”


 Click “OK” in the pop-up warning box


 Wait until the “Successfully Installed” notification is shown


 Then, click “Activate Plugin” to activate the installed plugin


 The SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 has been activated

SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 (STT 2) Settings
Now, The SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 (STT 2) had been installed and activated in our WordPress blog. STT 2 is in active WordPress plugin list now. However, we still need to do some adjustment base on our need so get best benefit from it. Here, I share my SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 (STT 2) settings:

Log in to WordPress Admin Page


 Go to “Settings” area and click it


 Click “SEO SearchTerms 2”


 The “SEO SearchTerms 2” settings page is shown up

Click “Save Changes” button to apply the settings


 The settings have been done successfully and the plugin is finally ready to work

And the WordPress as blogging platform is the best choice since WordPress is the most SEO blogging platform available these days also that there are many SEO WordPress plugins available – both of the free or paid WordPress plugins – that we can use for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) task. Base on my experience, AIO SEO WordPress plugin is truly a big help to optimize the search engine so brings our blog to good present in search engine result page (SERP). I know that AIO SEO alone is not enough – it is still needed others SEO works such as link building and keywords optimizing – but AIO SEO surely help for more optimizing in search engine.
However, despite how satisfy I am with AIO SEO, It is not harm to try another WordPress SEO plugins. Back then, I already gave a try for TGFI.net SEO WordPress plugin and drop it since I found AIO SEO better to control the SEO task.
Try The Platinum SEO
This time, I give a try for Platinum SEO which recommended by many of this blogging tips readers. They said indeed, Platinum SEO is an AIO SEO with more options.  So, I think it is worth to try. However, since already very firm with AIO SEO and do not want to take a risk to lost all the hard work that I did in this blogging tips blog with AIO SEO, I will try the Platinum SEO in another blog of mine. I will give a month as time-line to compare the result with AIO SEO. I believe a month is enough to see whether Platinum SEO is better than AIO SEO to control the WordPress Blog SEO.
Here, I share step by step to install (and finally to use) Platinum SEO if our blog had been installed AIO SEO.
Step #1. Platinum SEO Installation

Log in to WordPress Admin Page
Go to “Plugins” area and click it
Click “Add New” button in above
Use “Platinum SEO” as keyword in search box
Click “Search Plugins”
Click “Install Now” in Platinum SEO Pack
The notification pop-up will be shown up, click “OK”
Click “Activate Plugin”

Step #2. All In One SEO (AIO SEO) to Platinum SEO Migration

Go To “Platinum SEO” area and click it
Click “Migrate from All in one SEO” in below of “Platinum SEO”
Click  “Migrate from All in One SEO” button
Click “Go back to Platinum SEO Options Page” link
All the “All In One SEO” (AIO SEO) configuration had been migrated to “Platinum SEO” successfully

Step #3. Deactivate The All In One SEO (AIO SEO)

Go to “Plugins” area and click it
Locate “All In One SEO” plugin
Click “Deactivate” in “All In One SEO”
The “All In One SEO” is successfully deactivated

Final Words
The Platinum SEO had been replaced the AIO SEO successfully. The “Migrate from All In One” facility helps to ensure smooth migration from AIO SEO to Platinum SEO. Smooth migration means that there are no AIO SEO data or configuration missing – all AIO SEO data and configuration is transferred to Platinum SEO.  In short look, Platinum SEO has more options if compare with AIO SEO. However there are also some options in AIO SEO that not present in Platinum SEO. Therefore a trial is a must to know whether the Platinum SEO offers better SEO control than AIO SEO. I thin a month trial time-line is enough for this.

Google news is the best place to find blogging idea for latest news in my opinion. If want to always write an up to date information, use Google News as the tool.

A Simple Search Engine Optimizing (SEO) Tips by using htaccess File

As bloggers, the Search Engine Optimizing (SEO) is always tempting since there is big traffic potential at search engine. I, my self, already did some of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for this blogging tips blog so can benefit from search engine (especially Google search engine) big potential traffic. One of the Search Engine Optimizing (SEO) technique that I use for this blogging tips blog is a simple permanent 301 redirect in .htaccess file. The permanent 301 redirect tells the web browser as well as the search engine spider that the site or the page which is accessing, has moved permanently to the redirect URL address.
We can use this permanent 301 redirect to solve the SEO issue regarding the WWW and non WWW blog URL address. It is said that if both of WWW and non WWW URL address is active, our blog search engine rank will be divided into two. It is means that our blog search engine rank is not optimum since it is divided. Therefore, to avoid the divided search engine rank, we should force the search engine to only use one of our blog URL address. It is okay whether it is the non WWW or the WWW URL address. For this blogging tips blog, I choose to only use the non WWW URL address. There is no particular reason for this choosing. It is that I just like the non WWW URL address.
Since already decided to use the non WWW URL address, I need to put the permanent 301 redirect code so the WWW URL address redirect to non WWW URL address. Here the code that I must put in this blogging tips blog .htaccess file:
# redirect  if www.letupdate.com (case-insensitive) to letupdate.com

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.letupdate\.com [NC]

RewriteRule (.*) http://letupdate.com/$1 [R=301,L]
I put the above code in very below of the .htaccess file by using my favorite ftp client, FileZilla. After put the code in .htaccess file, each time someone accesses the WWW URL address through the web browser, it will redirect to non WWW URL address automatically. This is also happened each time the search engine spider come and crawl this blogging tips blog. I hope this very simple blogging tips is really work to improve blog search engine rank so this blogging tips blog can reach the new blog rank level. For this blog readers, I suggest you to also try this simple tips since there is no harm in it.

For big bloggers, they may have balance traffic source between search engine, social media, direct traffic, and mouth-to-mouth traffic. It is needed the very long time to achieve the balance between the traffic sources. Therefore, as not so big bloggers (the medium bloggers in fact) we should only optimize one of traffic source to maximum at the time.

Search Engine is An Easy Optimizing Traffic Source
It is needed so we have enough traffic in reasonable time – no need to wait for the very long time. The traffic source that to be optimized may vary from bloggers to bloggers. It is depended which one that best match you and your blog style In my opinion, one of the easy optimizing traffic source is Search Engine. In theory, it is only needed to target the keyword that searched by many people. However, it is not that simple. We may need to do hard work to make our blog keyword appears in search engine first page.
It is because we will only get the significant traffic if our blog post appears in the first page of search engine result page (SERP). But, for now, let’s leave that behind since this blog post assume that your blog already has reasonable presents in search engine result page (SERP) after did the hard work before. If your blog is very new, you should stop read this blog post and start to build your blog into reasonable search engine rank first before come back to this blog post.OK, if your blog is ready which means have reasonable search engine rank, let’s rock!

As entitle, we will use Google Trends (which is one of the best free website tool from Google) to optimize a blog post be a search engine friendly blog post so can drive a lot of search engine traffic to our blog. Google Trends tells us what is the currently most searched keyword through Google Search Engine and how the search trend regarding the keyword. Since Google Search Engine serves around 80% of Internet search activities, it means that Google Trends tells as the most searched keyword in the internet. We can benefit from this fact to create the Search Engine Optimized (SEO) blog post by using Google Trends as tool.  I already experienced that this way can drive many search engine traffic to our blog.
The Step by Step How to Use Google Trends to Create Search Engine Optimized (SEO) Blog Post

Open Google Trends


Now, we are shown the top hot search in USA


 Click one of the keyword, as example I click “mariana islands” keyword



Now, we are in real hot searches page with more detail information


 At the very left, there are hot searches list


 Click “Next” if want to find the other keyword in the list


 Click “View entire list” to show the entire keyword available


 Click one of the keyword to see the detail information about it, as example I click “mariana islands” keywords



At the right (At the detail information page), we will see the search volume index graph which tell us the current trend of the keyword in graph


 Choose the keyword that show the up trend graphic, as example, the “mariana islands” keyword seems in up trend as in graph – showed by the up graph.



We can find more detail about the topic by clicking the link at News Article and Blog Posts part. Since this time we target a post for our blog, I suggest to use the Blog Post part. We just need to visit some blog post in the list to understand the topic. As example, the “mariana island” topic.



After understand the topic, we can start write a blog post about the chosen keyword (topic).


 Put the keyword in the blog post title. As example, put the “mariana island” keyword in the title such as “what is exactly the mariana island?” or others.


 As additional, do not forget to scatter the related searches keywords (which we can found at the right (detail information page) part) around the blog post



Done, a Search Engine Optimized blog post is ready to act as weapon to drive search engine traffic to our blog.

You may think that this validation is not important. There is no effect for validation or not validation. If so, I beg for differ since I think it is important to have a W3C validation. It is because W3C validation means that our blog fulfill the web standard. It is also mean that our blog will show perfectly in different web browser. You should already knew that our blog lay out may look varying from web browser to web browser. W3C validation ensure the varying look through different web browser is not happened. Also W3C validation surely brings professional touch at touch blog.
Here I share how I validate this blogging tips blog through W3C Markup Validation Service which will validate our blog code (HTML, XHTML, and other markup standard). FYI, this blogging tips blog is already validated for markup validation service but not yet for CSS validation. I plan to work at CSS validation to so this blogging tips completely validate in near future. It is because fulfill the standard always bring good for a blog or website.
How To Validate for W3C Markup Validation

Go to W3C Markup Validation Service


 Fill the “Address” with blog URL


 Click “More Options”


 Check “Show Source”


 Leave the other configuration in default


 Click “Check” button to validate



If the blog is already validated (which I doubt at the first try), you will find below message:

Go to below and you will find validation output error message


Click the line link



The line link redirect us to error source as like below:



Locate the error in the blog and fix it.


 As example, the line 441 error is because of the wrong br closing tag. I need to find this wrong code and fix it.


 Finish all the fixing and then click “Revalidate” button


 It is done when the re-validation result is success
