AFter taking four pages of speedwriting notes while listening to the “Garland’s Think Tank” on WWL-Radio, I Googled OPP (Outreach Process Partners), LLC. OPP was mentioned during the broadcast. There were three different listings right at the top, so I checked them all. Okay, so the company is “women owned”. Its home office is in Maryland. The company deals with what it calls “new media”, not “news media”. It also managed the production of something called “How’s Your News” for MTV. My overall impression still is that these gals will put a spin on anything if the price is right.

One has to be seriously blind to think that NOLA.COM was anything legit for New Orleans. NOLA.COM is the most corrupt propaganda machine that I have ever seen in the state of Louisiana. La. state already has a biased and horrible media but NOLA.COM just took the King Cake and the baby! The articles were planted, the writers are hired based on their ignorance (real or selective) of what is really news worthy in the area of New Orleans, the user names that didn’t promote a hateful, corporate and corrupt agenda were deleted or banned and the site offered nothing of facts since it was created. It is state owned and not a free press. NOLA.COM was the main reason that so many citizen reporters and blogger sprang up in New Orleans after Katrina.
Even as of today, if a citizen post about any form of corruption, happening in a Parish involving these “good ole boys” NOLA.COM blocks the user for life but yet one can go onto NOLA.COM and hold a Ku Klux Klan rally with relative ease!

What swine these Times-Picayune people are. They knew that the Corps was using Nola.com to kick New Orleans when it was down and they let it continue. Now they’re helping cover it up. I’ve bought my last copy of that rag. This is a newspaper that needs to go out of business - or radically change its attitude towards the city it supposedly serves.

We need help, the citizens of New Orleans needs help. Lower 9 ward new orleans east st.bernard there is no protection for the citizens that is trying to regain their lives.
News media is just shameful down here: for examlpe I think the media should be telling people were they can go to complain and recieve help to restore their community

Dear Sir,

Please don’t let the illegal actions of a few “Bad Apples” in the Army Corps of Engineers wreck the good work the corps dose and your reputation as a independent news source.

Please provide the levees.org and your readers all relevant information about the sources of comments that came from Government I.P. addresses to articles regarding the A.C.E., levee work and levees.org critiques. The American people have the right to know and your organization has the responsibility to tell them when your independent news company services are being used by the government to covertly influence public opinion.

Otherwise, these few “Bad Apples” will reduce your organization to the level of propaganda machine the credibility you and the A.C.E. once enjoyed, will be gone forever.
