Classic iPod is the most iconic of the iPod lineup which is probably why the iPod Video has remained fairly unchanged over the years. You just can't improve on an already great design. The circular touch wheel with simple music controls made the iPod a simple iconic for years to come. I decided to take this iconic product and make a large, 2' X 3', soft sculpture complete with ports and toggle switch.

Here are a few ads I have made recently to promote the website and get the word out. I wanted these ads to be visually stimulating and aesthetically pleasing to look at while remaining cost effective to print. The use of just lines of color instead of just solid triangles makes this much more cost effective to print. I also designed ads specifically in black and white as well as sticker QR codes.
Here is a series of abstract pieces I made over the past year. Most of them have several pieces to make the whole art. I thought this approach made the overall piece more interesting because I focused on each one instead of the overall picture.
This summer I was fortunate enough to visit Fort Myers Beach and take some nice photography. The sunsets were beautiful with and you could see the lights of the mainland in the distance. All of these photos were taken with a point n shoot and I was very impressed with the outcome. Make sure to click on the panorama of the sunset to get a full screen view of the detail.
This has to be my favorite form of photography by far. I just love the way lights show up at night, it looks really cool in my opinion. Anyways, here is a collection of night shots I have taken over the last couple of months. In the picture above you can see a girl walking if you look closely.
This past weekend I got the rare opportunity to see one of these rare sports cars in person. I was quite impressed with the level of quality but with the $60,000 base price, it should be expected. If you watched the dyno video in the previous post, you would have heard the nice exhaust note. The 5 liter V8 turns out 395 WHP on that hot day.

I went to Craven Performance in St. Peters MO to cover their dyno event. For $40 dollars you could dyno your car in their very nice facility or just display your car in their lot. In attendance were some very impressive cars. Ranging from a wild Viper to a rare IS-F. There was not a shortcoming in interesting cars. A group of sport bikes were in attendance as well as a few lifted diesel trucks. Enjoy the photography and part 2 will be posted later.

Today I took some pictures of the VP parade being set up this afternoon. I was one of the volunteers walking the Edward Jones balloon. It was kind of strange to be one of the people walking it instead of someone on the side watching. Made for an interesting afternoon especially with the high heat. Enjoy the photo group!
I got this shaky shot of the space station passing over Missouri tonight. Earlier this week on Tuesday the station came in close contact with a 29,000 mph space debris that almost forced the crew to abandon. The crew members were in their life boats ready to deploy when the debris passed by.
Went out and just did some simple photography on plants and other interesting things. They turned out really well, the grass one is my personal favorite. The detail on the photo above turned out amazing, I had the camera set to 80 ISO and it blurred the background perfectly on all of them. Click for a larger view, enjoy!

I have hand made this original artwork and will be selling it to the highest bidder. This is the original and only one like it, I will not be reprinting it or re-crafting the same piece. All of my abstract art is unique and different. Check my store for more detailed photos. (signage in bottom corner is not on the art but edited on for authentication)
There will be more post regarding car shows/meets as they happen.
