I mean, buying souvenirs in gift shops is not always the last part of the trip, right? Whenever we see something unique and interesting, we do not think on buying it immediately...especially if we find it very affordable.<br /><br />I love getting souvenirs for my family and friends. Depending on the budget, I would like buy everything for them as much as possible. My sisters loves getting keychains made from other places. Me? I love collecting stuffed toys and pillows. Korean Air did a sweet, smooth touch down at DFW airport yesterday morning. We were blessed with a pleasant weather during the trip. My in-laws picked us up from the airport. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">After eating a big lunch at Rosa's Mexican Restaurant, we went to the store to get my work schedule for next month. I knew my system password expired but I still tried to log on. My manager was off to lunch so the store head helped me reset my password. I was able to get in to the system. I thought I had to work on Monday but my manager had me off for three days, which is good because I need to catch up a lot of rest. </span><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">My husband and I are very thankful to have three days off. <br /><br /></span><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">Flying from the other side of the world (crossing the international dateline) messes up your body clock. It is going to be a tough week for us at work, feeling weird the whole week because of jet lag, but this is it. </span><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">Now that we are back, catching up with sleep is important. Though the weather was not that pleasant in Dallas/Fort Worth area, our transfer from the hotel to the airport was convenient because the hotel shuttle came on time to pick us up. All of our luggage were well-packed and sealed. Our documents (tickets and passports) were organized. The <a href="http://www.koreanair.com">flight schedule is very convenient</a>. I passed the driving/road test this morning. After failing Wednesday last week for bad left turns, I did them today real good. Woohoo! Do you get cranky or irritated? Do you complain?<br /><br />The amount of pressure you get working depends on the type of job you are into. And stress from the pressure is the most unlikeable thing to deal with at work. Most people try to keep their cool by thinking of happy thoughts and motivational things to go on without ruining the day. Others just become cranky and sensitive. This leads to misunderstandings. Some situation at work are complicated especially when the boss assigned a very complex tasks. In addition to that, he/she wants them finished IMMEDIATELY. <br /><br />I have been through this situation. Though errors are unavoidable, I had to be focused in everything. It should always be. If I get stressed, I admit, I get irritated but I do not complain. Stepping away from my work area for 10 minutes helps me relax my nerves. Then I will be back with a smile on my face. It is part of the job I am in. In the first two weeks of the contest, the guy from men's department was leading the list of top sellers. I did not even saw my name in the list. But one morning, when I was scheduled to open, a customer bought a couple of truffles. Then I started to get more sales in a couple of days. By the end of August, the final list of top sellers. I was stunned because my name is first in the list of top sellers. Well, I just did my job. I offer Godiva to gift wrap customers, and even to the children who come look around in Customer Service area. This is another way of improving sales as well as my selling skills, huh. I am liking it. You might ask why there are fragrances and body essentials in the gift. So I just had my eyes checked (my husband's too) yesterday. We arrived home late from a very enjoyable place the other night so, we were still sleepy during the check up. But we did it.<br /><br />I am working on the computer a couple of hours a day and I also have glare problems. So the doctor recommended a reading eyeglasses. My husband, on the other hand, will have bifocals.<br /><br />My husband has a very good insurance benefits at work. He is on VSP for optical insurance. And on our eye check up, we just payed $20.00 for the copay. And for both of our eyeglasses, the insurance have it fully covered.
